Pesto delight
Neeta D.

It's was pretty empty when we visited. The cheese garlic bread was pretty yummy and had good amount of cheese. The pesto delight lit up my mood coz I was craving for some good pizza that day!! A good place to stop by, but nothing fancy.. reasonable pricing. I think it sometimes has a Groupon deal that can be used, which I ended up noticing after visiting the restaurant unfortunately.

Cheap date meal. Check. After listening to live music across the way at Adobe winery, we decided on a quick bite & pizza came to mind. The greasy pepperoni pizza hit the mark. This place is popular and I can see why, most people love pizza and their pizza by the slice brings them in. They had a special that day 2 slices with a soda for less that $7. We weren't ready for a full pizza and making decisions on toppings so we ordered the most readily available pizza. The crust was thin and the sauce was flavorful. I'd like to try their other pizzas and will go back for a whole pizza or just a slice. They have indoor and outdoor seating too, the person behind the counter was helpful too. Don't forget to tip.

Me and my husband wanted to get something to eat before the movies and we decided this pizza place since it was literally in front of us. I'm glad we got to eat there. The chicken tenders is DELICIOUS and super tender! The pizza was amazingly good as well, I LOVE the crust AND YOU HAVE TO GET THE CHEESY BREAD STICKS. THE CHEESE HIT SO GOOD The lady was also super sweet to us when we got to order and the chef is also amazing! The ambiance of the place was very comfy. The whole place, the food, and the nice people that worked tonight was all stoner approved. (I'm gonna try to get their calzones to try tomorrow!) Edit: this calzone is so cheesy! Making me feel some things. Buy this pls, it's so good. Also yes we got a large pizza of the same slice we got cause it was that good (I also wanted more tenders but husband only let me pick one ;w; ) Super Stoner Approved

I just order for the first time and I got a dark hair on my pizza super disgusting I call them back and the guy that answer was super rude to me they never offer to send a new clean pizza or give a new pizza for free they just told me that they would give me a refund so no dinner for me. They pick up the pizza super fast then they call back and the same rude guy call to ask me about my credit card number for a refund I was like I need a new pizza I'm hungry wtf and he didn't care he was like I dont give a damn and hang up on me now i'm changing my card coz never know what mean people can do, so firts and last time I order from that disgusting place.

I'm so picky with my wings. It has no fat. It's the perfect level of fried like I cleaned the bones. Lol like the fries are literally wedges not salty at all. They get crispy kind but the seasoning is fantastic.. wing stop and fire wings are not even comparable. I'm so happy I work in Petaluma, Wingstop is literally the five minutes from my house but the service again it's not that great but wing stops wings are trash. I've literally got feathery wings from that Wingstop near me (Hembree lane). Anyways buffalo over wings too and fire wings - service but they can always improve. Looks like a cute date spot the staff is always serving the tables so... the last time I thought my boyfriend placed an order when he didn't there was a girl with blonde hair that was very helpful immediately.. probably just a rush

My boyfriend and I came here for lunch today. We've had very good experiences here in the past, so…read moreas someone who is currently pregnant and craving wings, I was really looking forward to eating here again. When we arrived, everything seemed fine. Our waitress took our order, but we noticed she didn't have a notepad, which isn't unusual. However, she had my boyfriend repeat his order several times and eventually started writing it down on a napkin while continuing to confirm the order with him. We brushed it off because mistakes happen. A short while later, another couple came in and sat near us. By that point, we had already been waiting over 10 minutes for our food. The waitress took their order without any issues and left. What surprised us was that our food came out at the same time as theirs, even though we had ordered much earlier. From what we could tell, they ordered about the same amount of food that we did. When the food was brought out, the server initially tried to give our order to the other couple. They had to tell him it wasn't theirs before he brought them the correct food and then gave us ours. I can't say for certain whether our food had been handled by them, but it was still concerning. More noticeably, our fries were only lukewarm to cold, which made it seem like our food had been sitting for a while before it was finally brought to us. The biggest issue for us, however, wasn't the food. My boyfriend noticed early on that one of the waiters appeared to be watching us from a distance throughout most of our visit. I didn't notice it at first, but once he pointed it out, I began paying attention as well. Since there were only a few customers in the restaurant and we were the only customers of color, it made us feel uncomfortable. Every time our waitress returned to the dining area, she immediately looked directly at our table instead of naturally scanning the room or checking on other tables first. It gave us the impression that she was making sure we were still there, and it left us feeling singled out. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, especially because we've enjoyed coming here in the past. While the food itself tasted good, the service and the way we felt during our visit overshadowed the meal. Unfortunately, because of this experience, we won't be returning anytime soon.

The music-themed decor on the walls added a bit of character to the space. We sat ourselves at a table, grabbed a menu we saw sitting near the bar at the center of the venue, and found an employee walking around to place our food order. He was friendly and helpful and provided excellent service. It took about 25 minutes for our food to be ready which was kinda long, but after trying our dishes, it was totally worth the wait. The potato skins were like mini loaded baked potatoes, but fluffier and easier to eat. It was super cheesy and tastier than I expected, especially with the ranch and sour cream that came on the side. The classic pot pie was a large dish and quite filling, with plenty of sizable chunks of chicken and veggies mixed together nicely in a thick and flavorful roux. Not to mention the flaky buttery crust on top. Wow, I really liked this. And my bf finished every last bite of his grilled salmon dish, no complaints. The lemon drop cocktail was yummy, just the right sweetness and a good amount of alcohol without ruining the flavor. All in all, we had a 5-star experience at Torches and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Good food, excellent service -- but a misleading 4% surcharge…read more The food was good and our server was excellent -- genuinely warm, attentive, and professional. I'd happily praise the kitchen and the service team. I can't say the same about the billing. The menu states that a 4% surcharge is added to all food and beverage sales to cover the cost of "the Petaluma living wage initiative." That sounds official, but it isn't accurate. Petaluma's Living Wage Ordinance applies only to city employees and for-profit businesses that contract with the city -- not to private restaurants. Restaurants like this one fall under the city's separate minimum wage ordinance instead. Neither ordinance requires, authorizes, or involves a surcharge on customers. In other words, the 4% is the restaurant's own business decision about its labor costs, dressed up as a city mandate. A restaurant is free to set its prices to cover its costs -- that's what menu prices are for. But attributing a surcharge to a city "initiative" that doesn't apply to the restaurant misleads diners into thinking the city imposed it, which isn't true. I'll remember the good meal and the great server. I'll also remember the fee, and that's what will keep me from coming back.
