Ok taste, thin and soggy. Not impressed first time, won't order again. Much better choices in Petaluma.

Hi Debbie, We use a sourdough stater to make our dough which we ferment for 3 days, so yes, it is considered sourdough. You will not experience a sour taste like the traditional San Francisco sourdough breads as making pizza dough uses a very… Read more

I had been hearing about Red Eye locally and thought I would give them a try. I ordered in advance - I had heard they sell out fast if you don't put in an advance order. Pick up took longer than seemed reasonable for an advance to go order, but zero complaints about the quality of the food! I got two racks of pork ribs and they were spectacular. The other stuff e saw them putting out looked really good too. I normally smoke my own meats, but it is great to have someone local that does such a good job. Now I have a place I can go to when I don't have time to do it myself. Everyone who tried them loved them- including a friend who was a chef in New Orleans. I think Red Eye are the best thing going around here for real BBQ (by a good measure). If you haven't tried them yet, get over there! You are in for a real treat!

For me, the sides, potato salad, corn bread, and coleslaw, were the true stars of my meal. I was surprised again and again by the delicious mix of flavors in each. Seat yourself after ordering. Appeared to be indoor seating only available. Hot Tip #1: Red Eye is a two-man operation. The line accumulates quickly and moves slowly, so if you are undecided, maybe hem and haw while in line. Hot Tip #2: It's ok to bring your own water bottle inside the restaurant, so kudos to those that always have their water bottle in one hand!

I had a trip planned and needed a meal prep service, so I decided to give Spicy Girl Meal Prep a try. Despite seeing some negative reviews, I thought it couldn't be that bad. Unfortunately, my experience was a total disappointment. I paid $205 for the service to be delivered and was very clear about when I needed the food by. However, the food was never delivered, and I was given the runaround when I tried to contact the company. They claimed that the food was not delivered because of the holiday, which was unacceptable. When I finally got a response from them, an assistant named Dana texted me to say that they were closed that day. This was after I had called repeatedly and left several messages. It was clear that they had no intention of delivering the food. At this point, I had to come up with another solution for my meal prep needs, which was a huge inconvenience. My wife called the company from a different phone number and was told that we would receive a refund. However, we never received any refund despite reaching out to them through email. In the end, I had to dispute the entire process with Venmo to get my money back. Overall, I had a terrible experience with Spicy Girl Meal Prep, and I would advise anyone to stay away from them. They are unprofessional, unreliable, and clearly do not care about their customers. Update: I find it outrageous that I had to resort to contacting several mutual friends on Instagram just to reach her. Finally, one of her friends came forward and told me that she had mentioned my experience to Jade. I was very clear with her that Jade was lying about the situation, and that I intended to leave a review about it a year later. It's interesting that Jade has just reached out to me with an invitation to have lunch and fix the situation, which seems shady and as if she's trying to cover herself. The truth is, she should have done this a year ago when I had a terrible experience.

The chicken was flavorful and coated with a fantastically light and crispy breading. Chef Keller brought the heat with a dollop of spicy mayo to accompany the pickles and coleslaw. The sandwich WAS good, but I must admit, the small bite of the burger I stole from my friend was life changing! Before you think I'm exaggerating, let me explain... The burger was life changing in that it was an American wagu burger that was only $14! No longer will I be so tolerant of lower quality burgers that are more expensive (like I experienced just the day prior in Sonoma). Being a Thomas Keller pop up, I did expect more from the wine options but BAHB didn't quite deliver. I'm sure the quality of the wine reflects the desire to keep the drink prices as approachable as the food prices but it was also served way too warm for the type of wine I ordered. Before you start thinking I'm a bit too picky, it's because Thomas Keller has his name attached to this restaurant which automatically raises the bar for my expectations. Overall great food, FANtastic value, and wine that was just... meh. The chicken sandwich was very good, but if you go to a burger place, it's fair to expect that you should get the burger. But that lobster roll IS calling my name...

I wasn't feeling a burger or fried chicken but went with the $32 lobster roll. Served with no pickle or chips (as it is on the East Coast), it was small portioned and so salty. Like couldn't taste the lobster it was all salt. I probably should have returned it, type of salty. This is either telling me the food wasn't fresh or they don't know how to make a lobster roll. My friend's chicken sandwich was reasonably priced and looked delicious. But again, served à la carte. Overall, I'm sure for a burger and fries this is a better spot, although pricey if you want the burger and fries milkshake or beer experience. Lobster roll was a fail... don't order that. Overall, I'd return if nearby and wanted a burger in a casual setting.

This was during their pop-up setup at Lagunitas Brewery, so I understood it wouldn't be a full restaurant experience, but the pricing still felt high for what appeared to be mostly wholesale/frozen products. The food honestly felt more like elevated Costco/Sysco-style concession food than chef-driven Cajun cooking. The fries were clearly Kirkland frozen fries, the kettle chips looked straight out of a Costco bag, and the burger patties also seemed pre-made/frozen. I was honestly fine with the kettle chips, but once you start noticing almost everything feels wholesale while paying "celebrity chef" pricing, it changes the experience. At $15-16 per item plus tip prompts at checkout, I expected more fresh or house-made elements. Food trucks and pop-ups around the Bay Area put in serious work making things from scratch, smoking meats, hand-cutting fries, or using fresh patties at similar prices. This felt more like paying for branding than craftsmanship. The loaded fries and sauces were decent, and the concept definitely has potential, but the pricing just doesn't match what's actually being served right now. I genuinely hope Chef Bradley focuses more on fresh ingredients and execution moving forward, because food trucks that actually put that level of work in deserve these kinds of prices more than frozen wholesale products do.
