Soggy wood fired pizza, ordered a kids pasta for my daughter and received a full size one, would not correct on bill. Also find out that there is automatic gratuity on a family of 6 but didn't see it on the menu. The rest of the food was decent but the still left with a bad taste in my mouth

Pesto lasagna and spaghetti with meatballs

I just wanted to leave an updated review since my last review was from 3 years ago. We ordered takeout from Art's tonight because it's not always easy to take the whole family out for a sit down dinner. But today Art's was doing a "Dine & Donate" for my daughter's elementary school so we had to make it happen somehow! My wife went to pick up the food and said the people who worked there were great and they were happy to help our school! I had to order the spaghetti and meatballs as my last review reminded me how good it was. We also got the lasagna with pesto sauce. Truth be told, it was a lot of pesto, but it was damn good pesto. My daughter scarfed down their cheese pizza and our cousin had their California Chicken Sandwich which she loved. I can't say anything for the ambiance since we did takeout. I do really appreciate this local, Italian joint and I hope people come and support them!

I was pleasantly surprised at the experience we had tonight here. I needed a place that would work for my grandkids & me. The kids menu sold me (and them). Dishes were $8 and the portions quite substantial. I had the minestrone soup (quite good) with a great salad. The photo depicts their green salad but it had salami on it and I'm a vegetarian. I was able to switch it out to a Caesar Salad that was yummy. Just needed more garlic, but the lettuce was very fresh. I had a side of garlic bread that was decent. As it was happy hour, I was able to enjoy a draft Stella for $5! Very pleasant service.

Definitely a delicious comfort food spot. A little pricey but worth it. Everything looked tasty! I'm going to have to go back and try some more dishes!

What a treat... We were staying in Rohnert Park and I asked asked our front desk manager if he knew a place where I could get some wings and possibly a small (personal) pizza. Immediately, he told us to go to Art's Place just a two minute drive from the hotel. Easy in to the parking lot and there are plenty of spaces for the cars. We made our way into the restaurant and after a very cordial 'smile ands hello,' we were seated. It was a little later than we normally eat so we were not looking to go to large. Share a couple of wings and a small cheese pizza. They have quite the extensive menu here and I could see that everyone was enjoying many of their "signature" dishes. The menu also gives you a good history of Arts. I explained to our lovely waitress exactly how we like our wings and they came to the table as ordered. Extra crispy with extra sauce on the side. They were crisp, tasty and a good pick. Pizza was also delicious. Cheesy, saucy and not to much crust. Over all a good pick and and I know that we'll be back on future visits. I am still trying to figure out how anyone could rate this shop a one or two star. Do the foodie world a favor and do not write a review if you're not in a good mood or the world doesn't swing your way...all the time. KUDOs to the team at Art's Place.

This is a local's place. It was a rainy night and the place was packed. The bar was open though, so I was able to get seated immediately. I ordered the ribeye, which comes with garlic mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, and garlic bread. Also, I ordered a house salad, which is basically an antipasto salad), so more than a regular salad. The steak was a bit gristle-y, though well seasoned. The mashed potatoes were good, very smooth. The vegetables were overcooked and mushy, though. It's known as a pasta and pizza place. I saw a gluten-free option. Might try that next time.

Italian Sausage Sandwich

Finally tried this place after so many years. I thought it was good! I didn't realize this was owned by the same family that had the pasta place at the Sonoma County Fair for decades. The best thing about my meal was the fries. Good and crispy, seasoned, really yummy and to-die-for with ranch dressing for dipping. I think it would have liked the sandwich better if it came with grilled bell pepper and was served on a softer bun. It was a little "bready" for my taste. But still very good. My friend had a side spinach salad that looked very good, very fresh. She really liked her minestrone soup. It was thick like stew and looked delicious. Is it the finest Italian food in town? No. But it also doesn't cost a fortune. The bill for the two of us was only $30. I would definitely go back and give the pizza or some of the other menu items a try.

Caesar salad, house wine, tasty garlic bread, 50/50 pesto and beef marinara pasta.

Came here for some comfort food after a long day of work. The atmosphere was friendly and casual so I didn't feel awkward wearing my scrubs. The Caesar salad was amazing and so was the pasta! Service was fast and attentive. This place is a hidden gem and I will definitely be returning in the near future.

Prime Rib Special

Back to celebrate Theodore's 6th birthday. Started with the Calamari which was deliciously lightly battered and perfectly crisped. Had to order the 12oz Prime Rib again which was equally as yummy. We also ordered the Chicken Marsala with veggies and subbed out mashed potatoes for Penne pasta. We dined outside and our server was super attentive. Everything was great again.

Fried Zucchini

Had dinner here for the 1st time. I ordered the linguine with clams. I actually was not a fan of the dish. It was quite runny, but they were generous with the clams. My daughter ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, and I liked it a lot. The fried zucchini was okay. It was a tiny bit burnt, enough to taste the burnt flavor. The spinach salad was delicious. My boyfriend ordered it and he enjoyed it very much. Our server was hospitable and friendly. She forgot the glass of wine I ordered to go with dinner. I didn't bother to ask since the food already came. It's a very lively place. It was a full house and we only waited about 15 minutes to be seated without a reservation.

I was taken away by the decor, the pool table, and a small arcade. This is definitely a place that you come and hangout with some friends. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their pizza, and they really took care of me when I told them it was my first time there. They told me that they serve New York style and Detroit style pizza. I'll have to try Detroit someday, but for now I focused on New York style. I ordered a spicy sausage pizza and a pepperoni which had hot honey. I only ever had hot honey in Los Angeles, so I was hoping it would be delicious. The spicy sausage pizza was delicious, flavors were balanced and I tasted everything they laid out. The pizza is thin so it's definitely New York style and the crust was so crispy and light. The thing I love about New York style pizza is just how edible the crust are. I feel like you can just have them as breadsticks and I would buy them. The hot honey pizza was an out of the world flavor. If I had to pick one pizza for anyone to try it's this New York Pepperoni with hot honey. This is an amazing balance of sweet and savory. The first bite really took my tastebuds on a ride and I was ready for another. The pepperoni pizza wasn't too greasy and the honey just really brought the flavor altogether. I had hot honey in LA, now I'm glad to say, I don't need to go to LA for that. If you have a desire for pizza, look no further than Acre Pizza!

We thought the food was good. The pizza had a sourdough crust and was really good. The salad was fresh and had a good dressing. Customer service: 5/5 We had great customer service from the staff that was working. They were polite, quick and had the restaurant cleaned up nicely. Ambiance: 5/5 They had a few pinball machines reasonably priced (50 cents a game) and a pool table that was free to play. It was nice to play a game with the boys after enjoying our food. They also had plenty of seating between indoors and their outdoor patio. Price: 2.5/5 I thought it was a little over priced, but I know this is pretty normal for eating out at a place like this. The pizza was about $8-9 a slice, the salad it was $19 ($14 +$5 for the chicken). The total for 3 slices and a salad was about $50. Overall, it was good and we had a nice time eating here on our family outing.

We ordered a creamy corn empanada, traditional beef empanada, plum & bacon empanada, al pastor empanada, and a bacon egg & cheese empanada. Everything was fresh, authentic, and delicious. My favorite empanadas were the traditional beef and al pastor. Along with the flavorful meat filling, I enjoyed the crispy flaky crust as well. The sauce and pica de gallo provided went well with the empanadas. The presentation of the empanadas in the box was appealing and delightful. I appreciated the little menu in the box to inform you what you ordered. The little flower was a nice touch. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Vinoma. The variety and freshness of the greens really stood out. As a vegetarian, I initially hesitated when I saw what looked like bacon bits, but the owner kindly assured me they were seasoned breadcrumbs -- such a creative and delicious touch. I ordered the potato pizza, and my granddaughter chose the pepperoni. She devoured nearly the entire pizza in record time, so I think it's safe to say she gives it five stars! My potato pizza was the bomb -- bursting with flavor. The pickled peppers added the perfect tangy kick. Both pizzas had that wonderful thin, crispy crust that I absolutely love. The service was friendly and attentive. While the pizzas are on the smaller side and perhaps a bit higher in price, the fresh, quality ingredients make it worthwhile. I also appreciated seeing a Palestinian soda in the refrigerator case, with 50% of the proceeds going toward a Palestine support fund -- a thoughtful and meaningful touch. I'm especially looking forward to warm evenings when I can walk the half mile from my home and enjoy dinner on the patio. We'll definitely be back!

Of course when I first heard about this place, I was intrigued. It's called Psychic Pie for god's…read moresake. (FYI, I'm super woo :)) Then, my sister-in-law raved about it, declaring it the best pizza she's ever had. (Or something incredibly declarative like that.) We decided to give it a try. Upon walking in, Fugazi was playing in the shop. That was a good sign. When do you ever hear Fugazi playing at an establishment nowadays, the last time was probably in a record shop in the 90s. The pizzas are displayed, and you choose how much of each pizza you'd like and they will cut some off for you and it is priced by weight. Then, they heat it up for you to melt the cheese, and viola! Served with cloth napkins, pizza scissors, if desired when eating-in. (Truly the most brilliant way to cut pizza!) Immediately, I saw "OG Potato" and that was a must have. It was something like Potato, ricotta, chile oil, mozzarella, dill. (Just to cut to the chase on this one, it was incredible! I am obsessed with ricotta, and there was something about all the combination of flavors especially the dill that gave some freshness amongst the rich taste of everything else.) Others we got were the pepperoni, a 4 cheese, and a vegan one with no cheese, just tomato sauce, roasted garlic, olives (there may have been other stuff on it, but that's what I remember) Everything was incredible, even the vegan one. The tomato sauce was so high quality, and I was glad there wasn't any vegan cheese on it. Just veggie tastiness in its purest form. The sourdough crust was light and fluffy. It was all just so high quality, and you can feel the passion for their food. Oh yeah, I almost forgot a big star: the Kale Caesar. Don't sleep on that one. It's one of the best salads we've had in years. It was flavorful, with bits of sunflower seeds to give it crunch. Dressing was on-point with a mountain of fluffy parm on top. And so here's the thing with the current state of eating establishments. There is so much expensive mediocre food out there. Nowadays, you may pay $12 for a salad that's out of a bag with wilted ends and sorry baby carrots. And so, considering there's a place that's putting beautifully intentional food out there, I'd rather choose to go to the place that is high quality and cares about their food and sustainability. We topped off our experience with soft serve and a cookie. The soft serve was amazing. We got it 'eat-in' and it was high quality soft-serve in a whimsical cup and presidential spoons. (Love the sustainability angle, but also the whimsy) You can get it with olive oil and sea salt and other toppings, but I went pure. It was milky and homey, and just gooood. (My hubs wanted the cookie) Not to mention, service was genuine. There was a slow, no-rush vibe to this place that might piss some people off. But given its name, I feel like it's apt. It's Psychic Pie for god's sake, and the ethereal does not rush. In the ethereal, time doesn't exist!!! (lol) You can feel that every part of this establishment is in the vision of its owner, wanting the experience to be a part of their authenticity and values. And we need more of that in this world right now. (And I don't mean some skewed sense of 'authenticity' as in just saying whatever comes to mind and is 'in your face' that has infiltrated our society today) This is true authenticity I'm talking about - an expression of your own Light essence. (See, I told you I'm woo) Speaking of which, the music continued to be my jam at my time here... likely to be a Pixies radio mix, with awesome 90s punk / indie. Some songs I hadn't heard in decades but love. So, it was like entering into someone's establishment that's part of my soul tribe. So, if any of the above sound like your jam too... give it a try!
