OK went to a Jersey Mike's for the first time and wow I usually go to Subway because of their deal today or get a foot-long I decided to go to Jersey Mike's cause I've heard great things about their sandwiches and my son got me one a couple of weeks ago and I really liked it so I decided to go and Sam made my sandwich and Brandon was there also and helping and all I can say is very impressed with the customer service was very genuinely friendly and helpful the amount of ingredients the lettuce the meat was very healthy portions unfortunately unlike Subway, where a lot of times the amount of lettuce and tomatoes and things are very kind of lacking. You have to almost beg for more lettuce for it to be a decent sandwich. Anyways, they made a really delicious sandwich with the fixings and I got it Mike's way with the special. I don't know vinegar and things like that in a bag of chips and a drink for 11 bucks great special but it was just a whole experience from the time I walked in very friendly energy and helpful and the food was delicious. The Care that was taken by Sam putting on the ham and the lettuce and tomatoes and everything like it wasn't just slopped together or with the bare minimum it was a really hearty healthy sandwich when I asked for mayonnaise spread you know evenly yeah and they have Pepsi lol Do yourself a favor go to Jersey Mike's on McDowell they've got a great staff there and putting out great products in the name of Jersey Mike's. 1 star or less if delivered from Uber Eats. Last nights delivery was the final insult. To make a giant sandwich with stale bread - and 100% knowing so is disgraceful. The lettuce is never piled as high and you really can't tell it was made "mikes" way. I don't understand why a sandwich is made so skimpy and poorly only if you are not there watching them make them. On the other hand, going in the store, the people are great, the bread is always fresh and they make a perfect sandwich every time. I always see commercials for Jersey Mike's but I've actually never seen an actual location. Lol apparently one just opened up in Petaluma so my boyfriend and I thought we'd check it out. He actually found a coupon in the mail where it was buy one giant sandwich and get a second one for $1.99. I do not want to do deli meats, but they have chicken and it's grilled fresh there so I got a chicken cheesesteak sandwich with bell peppers, mushrooms, and something else, but I forgot lol it was really good and very cheesy. I wish I would've added some lettuce or maybe spinach since I felt like I was eating nothing but meat. Lol the sandwich was very filling so I only ate a quarter of the four pieces because they were so big!! The service was pretty fast, considering there were three people in line ahead of us, and then two other people came in line behind us. Both three employees came out from the back to help everyone get sandwiches since it was also around lunchtime. Lol everything was pretty easy to order , and the only thing that was kind of offsetting was right by the entrance. There was a giant circular trashcan in front. I don't know if they wanted to use that to pry the door open or if there was just no space in their dining area to hold the trashcan where someone could sit properly and not be next to a trashcan. Lol so that was a little odd to me, but everything else was very clean and organized. Oh within the bathroom, there was also a very low toilet paper dispenser, and as I pressed the water on it, almost filled up the entire sink basin. I always order for pickup on the app and head over. My order is usually completed on time and already on the pickup shelf when I arrive. It gets pretty busy on the weekends so I highly recommend ordering ahead. The parking lot is not very big and is shared with a few other businesses but I haven't had any issues getting a spot. Our sandwiches were still fresh by the time we got home. However, if you do include the vinegar and olive oil topping, the bread will get soggy if you don't eat it right away. I normally get the regular California club sub. There was an instance where the avocados weren't very ripe and were a bit crunchy. I also requested to add jalapeños but really only got like 3 or 4 pieces. But for the most part, I've had good experiences here. read more

From my favorite sandwich shop to somewhere I won't return. For the last several curbside pickup orders I've placed, I've been stuck waiting in the parking lot long after my order was due. What irritates me more than that is when I wait that time and end up with the wrong sandwiches. I drive to Petaluma from about 14 miles away because I love Jersey Mikes. No longer. Last weeks order was 30 minutes late and this weeks order was 20 minutes late as well as incorrect. When my bf got home with the cheesesteaks, his had onions and peppers where my order clearly states that they weren't to be on his sandwich. Of course, this began a small argument because he thought I ordered wrong. Regardless, it ruined the day. We threw the sandwiches away and vowed not to return. I came here since I was in the area. Unsure if it was a good idea, but I was hungry. One guy was preparing the cheese/meats/bread. Another putting the ingredients, a lady wrapping the sandwiches and one guy at the cashier. The guy putting the ingredients was attempting to make 4 sandwiches (for 3 customers) at once instead of focusing on one customer at a time. He put lettuce on all sandwiches. Asked us each what we wanted and we told him. Yet he still hesitated to put items. Sir focus on one sandwich at a time! I rather have you focus on one at a time than focus on all & it takes longer & you make mistakes. I told him no juice yet he proceeded to put juice on it. Heavy handed with the lettuce, like sir where's my sandwich under all that lettuce? Haha. I understand tho, we all start somewhere! Just takes practice. I think maybe the other employees watching should have given him words of encouragement or ensure he can focus on one sandwich at a time versus on many esp since he gives the vibes that he is new. I ordered another #17 Mike's Famous Philly but made it Giant size this time. It was just as wonderful as the last time. I had gone through surgery that day and I wanted some food that was hearty and delicious. This totally fit the bill! The Giant size provided enough food that I was able to make three meals out of it. I was excited to try their sandwiches after hearing a lot of hype. I phoned in to order a hot Philly cheese steak sandwich and a cold club sandwich. They quoted a 20-25 minute pickup time. Pickup and paying went smoothly. The sandwiches were ok, not the best I've had. I was surprised at how much smaller the hot sandwich was, both the length and width of the sandwich. The bread tasted a little rubbery on the hot sandwich. I preferred the cold sub and the rosemary Parmesan bread did not disappoint. I'd return only for a cold sub. read more

The sandwich was great. I work in the restaurant industry and understand some people have bad days but the two gentleman working there could want to be there any less. I was barely greeted (I called in an order), they were still cleaning up and they closed in 5 mins but I called it in so it wasn't like I came in before closing trying to have them make me a sandwich. On the phone I had asked for pepperoncinis on the side. They put it on the sandwich and when i asked if they were in there he said "I don't know I didn't make it" I asked him if I could get some and he was like mad he had to go walk and open a fridge to grab a container. Having never tried JM before, I was pretty excited to have one nearby me for the first time. Sandwich chains are a bit rarer than the usual nationwide burger joints or pizza places, so the new eatery was well appreciated. That being said, I think my experience here was rather middling. Nothing haunting happened, nor was I wowed by the flavors and spectacular speed. It was, as the star score suggests, a rather average experience. For the flavor, I'd say the sandwiches were a bit overpriced (what isn't these days), but it didn't break the bank or anything. Whenever I come in here the workers are always greeting you with a warm welcome! They're always on top with what I want from the bread to the meats to the condiments. Music selection is on point always playing bangers. I'm pretty selective with what I want and they always get it right. Service is fairly quick if you come in and place your order. The walls are decorated charmingly as if you are inside a cafe on the beach. I usually get the club sub on Parmesan/rosemary bread with mayo and cherry pepper relish spread. They slice the meat and cheese right in front of you as they make your sandwich, which is a nice touch to convey the freshness of their ingredients. If you are planning on taking your sandwich home, ask for "the juice" on the side! They'll give you vinegar and olive oil separated in two small containers. Combine and pour over the inside of your sandwich when you're ready to eat, and you won't have any soggy bread! read more

My first time at Jersey Mikes. The h was very good and the service was OK. They tried hard but it could use some logic. I was ordering one sandwich and the guy in front of me let me go first because he had a pretty do big and complicated order. However, in an attempt to be efficient, they made my sandwich and all of his sandwiches at the same time. The kind gentleman and I were laughing at the absurdity. This means that I waited around 20 to 25 minutes for a sandwich. I get it. They were trying but I think they need a manager around at lunch on a Saturday. read more

I usually get a Chicken Chipotle sandwich from Jersey Mike's 90% of the time I really enjoy it. In most recent experience, they put so much chipotle on that i nearly puked as it felt like I was drinking it. I called them to just let them know they may want to tapper their excitement on their sauce put they told me next time you come in, you should ask for light sauce. I guess if you default to having a about 2 cups of sauce on your sandwich then you are good otherwise, ask for light sauce! read more

Came here around 8:20 Monday night, they close at 9pm. One couple already sitting down eating, otherwise empty and 2 employees standing. Young man that took my order was impatient with a terrible attitude, complaining to his other co-worker about how busy he felt they were now that it's light outside later... she was unbothered and seemed to understand that being at work means sometimes actually performing work... Danny did not understand this however. Come time for veggies, he got snappy and short, I apologized for him having to work this evening. The young lady was kind and efficient when handing me the final order, she shouldn't have to make-up for her co-workers attitude and unpleasantly however. This location might want to address their staffing and service issues, sandwiches were otherwise ok but overshadowed immensely by the overall service. Whatever you do, do not order from them online. They DO NOT read the order details. If you add any toppings, they won't be on the sandwich. If you put any special requests in the notes (wrapping halves separately etc) they will not be honored. After 3 or 4 times I gave up. The staff needs training immediately. I now drive the nice lovely back way to the santa rosa location, i will never spend a cent here again. Really like the food but that was the WORST service I have ever received at a Jersey Mike's. Was there around 2:30 on 7/4 and waited 15 minutes before any employee even spoke to me (there was a large GF order in front, but still no acknowledgement that I was even there). Finally had someone take my order and then once it was time for toppings the girl doing them tried to put my order behind a different online GF order. Only put 1.5 pieces of bacon on my sandwich instead of the full 2 that is included in the extra bacon, and when I asked for the other half piece that I was paying for the girl with glasses gave me attitude and said that "she's been written up for giving more than 2 pieces of bacon," even though I simply asked (nicely) for the other half piece I was paying for. Got home and opened up my sandwich to find way less ham than I get at the Jersey Mike's I usually go to in Indiana. VERY disappointing experience for a sandwich that costs $4 more here than in Indiana. Will NEVER go to this location again because it was so terrible! read more
