Such a gem in downtown Petaluma! The food here is super fresh and made to order, seriously great quality. They've got tons of options, so there's something for everyone. I'm obsessed with the Greek bowls and the chicken shawarma, and the homemade hummus is so smooth & flavorful. Service is AMAZING, Sam is the best and really makes you feel taken care of. The space is clean, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Can't recommend this place enough! Plus, they have the viral chocolate Dubai strawberries.

Beef Kefta Kebob Plate

If you are looking for a delicious meal, look no further! I just had this Beef Kefta Kebob Plate, and it exceeded my expectations for authentic Mediterranean food. The Beef Kefta was seasoned very well with traditional spices, juicy on the inside, and had a beautiful char from the grill. It was served over a generous amount of fluffy aromatic rice that soaked up the flavor of the meat. Sam was very kind during my visit and I look forward to going back for another meal! Thank you!

My partner and I stopped by on a Monday afternoon. I had previously tried their baklava but this was my first time trying tge actual food. We ordered lentil soup, a falafel wrap, and a chicken shawarma wrap. The lady who took our order was very nice and helpful. The inside was clean and there were a few tables. Our food came out pretty quickly! The lentil soup was a little on the salty side but it was pretty good. The wraps were our favorite part! The falafel wrap was delicious! I love falafel and know it can be a little dry at times. This wrap was perfectly made! The chicken one was our favorite! It wasn't dry at all and the chicken was seasoned perfectly and paired well with the fresh veggies and wrap. This is the type of food that won't make you feel like s**t afterwards and I know I will be back soon!! Overall, this place serves up great food and great service. I definitely recommend

I've now had Urban Deli three times, and it has been consistently good. I'm not feeling great and decided to order a few proper meals to have on hand. Everything I ordered made me say 'oooh yeahhhh'. I'm feeling better already. I got the Greek lamb bowl, chicken shawarma plate, gyro with hot sauce, and one of each baklava All of it was incredibly flavorful. The rice alone is a standout, and I felt transported by the flavors. :)) I found the portions to be generous and an excellent value. This place is solid & I'll probably be adding the shawarma plates into my weekly meal rotation. Seriously, so good! Very fast service too!

We decided to eat at urban deli in Petaluma me and my cousin that's visiting from LA. The hospitality was amazing giving by Sam. It felt like home the kindness that he gave out was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place for your family gathering or your Christmas parties. You would not be disappointed. The food was spectacular. Amazing thank you again Sam.

Beef Shawarma

Wonderful Middle Eastern Food. The shawarmas are great. You can also get a sharwarma bowl.

Got some takeout from this place for the very first time -- the kebab plate. For whatever reason, everything was so salty. The hummus was salty to the fact that even if I ate it with the pita bread I can still taste the salt. The kebabs were salty. The rice was a little less salty. The salad was eatable bc it has the least amount of salt. I'm pretty disappointed because I had high hopes for this place.

Don't miss the chicken pozole, which was a special of the day. It was top notch! The counter person said she made it from a family recipe.

They have a lot of great options on the menu, but my cousin recommended getting either a sandwich or breakfast burrito as him and his wife had already come here before and said they were really good. I opted for a sausage breakfast burrito and a guava mimosa. Drinks came quickly which was good to hold us over while we waited on our food. It was pretty busy. Burrito was a good size and came with sour cream and salsa on the side. Not as seasoned as I would have liked inside the burrito so I'm glad there were condiments. Hot sauce and ketchup along with other condiments are on the table already. My other cousin ordered the chilaquiles. Big portion. Lots of meat and he pretty much ate all of it lol the burrito was big so I could only finish half. Burrito wasn't bad but I wish I would've gotten the sandwich instead. It looked really good! Restaurant was a good size, clean, spacious and servers were nice and attentive. I would definitely come back to try other food on the menu.

I love my house, why go to a restaurant when I can eat restaurant food in the comfort of my lovely home? My sole constructive critique? The garlic potatoes didn't have even a hint of garlic. Otherwise, everyone was happy, I am putting this on my list for easy peasy weekend brunch at home. Fin.

They kept coming around checking on us and making sure that everything was fine. It was pretty busy there so it was nice to know that they were still at being attentive. You really have to sit there for a moment to see all the beautiful things that they have inside their store. It is so well decorated that it feels very homie. Also, from my understanding, they have fresh bread there in the morning and they put them out on a stand unfortunately, we got there too late, but I hear nothing but good things about their sourdough bread. Definitely a cute place to go for a nice lunch and it's right in the middle of town.

The river view isn't that great after looking at it for too long with a very still and murky green water, but the cafe and Water St itself is very charming. The people who work here are so pleasant, I felt so comfortable and at home here compared to many places in San Francisco. It felt like I was part of the cafe community. I am very curious to try the bacon separately because it was quite good in the quiche, thick cut. The quiche itself is not a solid gravy thing but was so beautifully airy yet so filling. The seasonal menu's offerings were ideal for a rainy April day, when their cassoulet, bocadillo and other cozy options provided the comfort food we were craving. I loved the colorful tables and tasteful decor. It was clearly a regular lunch destination for many of the diners. The bar was packed during the rush, around noon, as well as the other indoor seats. My lunch friend mentioned that the restaurant is owned and operated by a husband and wife team: Annette and Brian. The regulars were greeted with familiarity. It wasn't the kind of place where you're rushed for your order, nor is it a dine and dash location. The menu - both food and drink - has tantalizing options, so it's best to come back repeatedly. My Turkish Coffee arrived quickly after I ordered it, despite Annette being the only server on the floor. I enjoyed the Bocadillo too, especially the pickled vegetables that accompany the sandwich. For those complaining that the portions were small or that the prices were high, the quality of ingredients and depth of flavor are worth the cost and my portion was more than enough to satisfy my appetite, plus I left with the other half of my sandwich as an offering for my hungry twenty-something at home. We ordered a rice pudding for dessert and dug in before I was able to snap a picture!
