One of my coworkers said to order sandwich at Charley's and swears they have the best sandwiches! I went to check it out a couple times but obly got their tuna salad and bought some pita chips as I wasn't able to order food beforehand. The tuna was soo good! Finally yesterday I got more time and ordered Haley's panini and it was THE BEST! Warm sandwich with turkey, cheese, pepperoncini and pesto cream! It melts in my mouth! U devoured the first half in 2mins! Ambiance is great although i really didn't stay to eat! Hopefully next time! Overall I will definitely buy again!

I've been driving by the deli on way to downtown for years but never had the opportunity to stop in…read moreuntil recently. The experience was a bit strange from the start and the two people working (one at the register and one behind the deli counter) were both pretty aloof. The individual working the register was too busy engaged in what I can only assume was a very engaging conversation with another customer and the one behind the deli was MIA for almost 10 minutes while I waited awkwardly, unsure if the deli was even open. When someone finally came to the deli counter, I decided to order, pay, and get out of there as quickly as possible. I ordered a reuben sandwich, grabbed a beer, and paid. Then I was prompted to leave a tip - I was a bit shocked by this that I didn't even know what to do. I instinctually hit 20% and it wasn't until I was in the car that I realized I just tipped on a can of beer I grabbed out of the fridge and for a sandwich that I waited 10 minutes for, just to place the order.. lol. All other things aside, the sandwich was okay. A pretty good reuben, but far from the best. The bread was super thin and not well toasted so it became really soggy. Soggy reubens are the worst. We've all had one before - the bread just disintegrated and it just started to fall apart. Overall, the sandwich was okay but there are far better places in town to grab a sandwich that will at least pretend they are happy you stopped by, and won't ask you for a tip for the privilege of doing so.

What an awesome place! After a really disappointing stop at Point Reyes Cheese, this place…read moreredeemed the day and made us forget about the other place almost immediately. Great cheeses, samples, deals, a beautiful spot to enjoy our cheeses, breads, wines and chocolates and more. The wonderful lady behind the cheese counter was brilliant. She shared here likes and combos and just was so pleasant! We probably spent 2x more than we intended because of her! They provide a frozen ice pack to take your goodie home with you (the other place had nothing). We camped out a lot a picnic table enjoying the scenery and animals. Highly recommend for a wonderful picnic or lazy day.

The shop also sells local sausages, jams, and pate. If you come here, I highly suggest you buy items that are not available at chain stores. Hint: It's usually cheaper at the chain stores. For example, one petit wheel of Brie is $7.99 here vs. four petit wheels (Triple Creme, Truffle Triple Creme, Breakfast, and Camembert) at Costco is only $14.74. I like their Truffle Triple Creme the best. On our latest visit, they were showcasing their Supreme Brie, which contains even more cream than their Triple Creme Brie. I didn't think that level of cream was necessary. We ended up picking up a brined Brie called Golden Gate; the brininess added more flavor to their already flavorful Brie. If you are here during lunch time, be sure to order a toasted sandwich. We got the three-cheese toastie and it was delicious. We also got a pesto chicken sandwich and the chicken was very flavorful. After lunch, we got the Straus soft-serve -- we can definitely taste the remarkably fresh cream. There are picnic tables with bathrooms near a nice pond on-site. My only gripe about this place is that the picnic tables are dirty with lots of bird poop. The outdoor bathrooms are dirty too; one unit did not even have toilet paper. It doesn't seem like the outdoor areas are regularly cleaned and maintained (1 star off). The view is beautiful. I would definitely spend more time here if the outdoor premises are cleaner.

The inside was super clean and they had tons of options, although there was really only one true vegetarian option. That ended up being what we ordered -- the #18 Poor Boy -- and I added pepperoncinis to it. Honestly, it was really good. The sandwiches are HUGE and could easily be shared if you're not super hungry. We ordered them to go, and they were kind enough to include paper plates for the picnic we had planned later, which was a really nice touch. Everyone was also really friendly and greeted us when we walked in, which made the experience even better. It took about 10 minutes for them to make everything. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a solid sandwich stop.

This place is immaculate, organized and they have the sweetest staff. As soon as we walked through the door, the employees were attentive and incredibly helpful. There is a big menu on the wall but I couldn't read it well (forgot glasses in car) so the employee gave us a hard copy menu. Their sandwich selections are impressive. We decided to try their specials of the day: Chipotle chicken with avocado on sourdough Chicken parmesan on whole wheat roll I noticed that they were also offering a tri tip sandwich today. We'll give that a try next time. There are several tables inside. All were wiped down, chairs pushed in, and the ambiance was very comfortable. There was a constant flow of people either dining in or picking up their orders so this place is hopping! The gentleman who took our order delivered the sandwiches to us when they were ready. Sandwiches are large! They were heated through nicely. I took a bite of my husband's chipotle chicken and it was delicious with a nice little kick. I really loved my chicken parmesan sandwich too. Great combo of flavors and I could easily go on and on about their bread. I chose wheat and my husband had sourdough. Texture and taste were the best! I could only eat half so I wrapped my leftovers using the paper in my basket and sealed it with a toothpick. We waved good bye to everyone and thanked them for a nice lunch and headed to our car. As we were walking, a gentleman called us and brought us a bag for my leftovers! What an incredibly kind gesture. I can't remember the last time an employee went out of their way like that. That's the kindness they exude. Thank you for a very positive first experience. We will definitely be back again very soon.
