Veggie Breakfast Sandwich with Provolone Cheese
    Kitty L.

I tried the veggie breakfast sandwich with Provolone cheese and this restaurant for the first time, and it was so fantastic! I loved how it wasn't too salty and the home-baked sourdough roll was so fresh and amazing! It's only 2 blocks from our favorite park, Schollenberger, so we'll be back for more!

Chicken Cesar salad with most wonderful croutons!

Found this place online and we're not disappointed! Really nice greeting as we came in. He recommended the chicken salad as it's homemade. My son in law was all over that! He got it on Dutch crunch and said it was the best chicken salad he has ever had. My daughter ordered the chicken Cesar salad.... She thought it would be in house cooked chicken breast but it was the prepackaged chicken. I had the ham, salami and Swiss on Dutch crunch.... Bread was really fresh and the flavors were so good. Our friend ordered the chicken salad on rye.... Again bread was really fresh. The kids all got grilled cheese. Sandwiches come with "the works"- mayo, mustard, garlic oil, lettuce, tomato, pickle, peppercinis, seasoning. Great local place!

Dandy Sandos is my husband and I's #1 go-to local spot for sandwiches here in Petaluma. They have all sorts of creative sandwiches such as "Gone Golfing," "The P-Town" and "What's Up Bro?", crafted by the owner that are perfect for picnics, a quick easy lunch or a night in while you watch Stranger Things.  *Pepper Jack Sparrow- On a Dutch Crunch Roll (The best), this sandwich is on the secret menu with pepper jack cheese, Dandy's special sauce, onions and turkey.  *Turkey Sandwich-I always get the Dutch Crunch Roll with everything on it (except lettuce) and add the Dandy Sauce, mustard, oil and vinegar.  The first bite crunch is sooo satisfying and the sandwiches are so juicy and made with fresh ingredients. It's also a hole in the wall that has a welcoming atmosphere. The employees somehow always remember our names (can you tell we're regulars? lol), and they make you feel like part of a close community that you want to support even more.  Price per sandwiches are fantastic starting just at $10.99 (like, excuse me?!) and worth every penny.  Dandy's also has a select number of nostalgic drinks besides sodas such as Olipops, energy drinks, etc. Whenever you check out, don't forget your free treat (dum-dum lollipops or smarties!) We highly recommend if you're every visiting P-town. :)

I used to know Dandy Sandos as Mr. Pickles back in the day. The name changed, but the sandwiches remain fantastic . Walking inside you get hit but all the cool decor this place has, making it cosy and fun. The staff are friendly and are hard at work at their sandwich making craft. My personal favorite- P Town on a Dutch crunch . If you're looking for just a darn good sandwich then I'd totally recommend Dandy Sandos; it's one of the best sandwich places around in my opinion. Lots of options to choose from or you can make your own favorite! All delicious.

I've become a big fan of Dandy Sandos! I love sandwiches and these are no exception. They have a large menu of sandwiches as well as a build your own menu. The sandwiches are unique and tasty! I love how fresh the ingredients are, especially the bread! The sandwiches are huge and can easily be two meals. They don't hold back with toppings. Service is also great! The employees are kind and have my sandwiches ready quickly. It's usually not too busy when I come in and there's always seating available. I definitely recommend checking them out!

Staff is superb, on phone and in person, always friendly. Any special requests are noted and followed carefully. Food is delicious, go-tos include the Little Pepper #16, Mustang #12, and the Gaucho. The storefront, near a local high school and suburbs, gives a great local business feel. Go-to sandwich shop, will come again!

Mahalo to Dan and his team for making amazing and tasty style sub sandwiches! I can't wait to comeback and try other subs!... they open at 8am...just enough time to buy a sub for my kids LUNCH!

Dandy Sandos is one of my favorite sandwich spots. I stop in for Trojan at least once a week. The sandwiches are so big and not expensive. I can often times save half for the next day and it is still just as good of not better.

The best sandwiches.. #2 Vince's Veggie with added dandy sauce (a must) and jalapeños

Since I was picking it up on Saturday and not serving until Sunday, I called and requested that they put some wax paper between the top and bottom of the bread to separate the contents of the sandwich. I thought the bread would get soggy otherwise. They were happy to do it and wrap the sandwich in plastic wrap to keep in the refrigerator overnight. The sandwich was incredible! Everything an Italian sandwich should be! They gave me containers of seasoned olive oil and giardiniera to spread on the bread before serving. We had eight adults and we had more than enough, with a piece left over for my lunch today! I also ordered the cucumber salad with feta, which was a great side dish. I have been a steady client of both Stellina Pronto and Stellina Alimentary and they have never let me down. Both sandwiches, and almost all of them sounded, decadent. I prefered the chicken parm over the turkey that for me, was too much. The turkey had bacon, sauces, cheese on a potential foccacia style bread.. it was a lot. The chicken parm was plain and simple and tasty. The chicken was medium thickness, breadcrumbed and fried. The roll was great and overall I enjoyed it. About $18 for a sandwich, which seemingly is the going rate these days for a sandwich. Fresh, delicious and a solid option for bougie Italian sandwiches.

Later, after both brunch and the bridal appointment, we happened to run into her again. She remembered us and even asked my friend if she had found any dresses she liked. The décor is beautiful, warm, and inviting. They also have a bakery if you're just looking to grab something quick to go. The seasonal menu's offerings were ideal for a rainy April day, when their cassoulet, bocadillo and other cozy options provided the comfort food we were craving. I loved the colorful tables and tasteful decor. It was clearly a regular lunch destination for many of the diners. The bar was packed during the rush, around noon, as well as the other indoor seats. My lunch friend mentioned that the restaurant is owned and operated by a husband and wife team: Annette and Brian. The regulars were greeted with familiarity. It wasn't the kind of place where you're rushed for your order, nor is it a dine and dash location. The menu - both food and drink - has tantalizing options, so it's best to come back repeatedly. My Turkish Coffee arrived quickly after I ordered it, despite Annette being the only server on the floor. I enjoyed the Bocadillo too, especially the pickled vegetables that accompany the sandwich. For those complaining that the portions were small or that the prices were high, the quality of ingredients and depth of flavor are worth the cost and my portion was more than enough to satisfy my appetite, plus I left with the other half of my sandwich as an offering for my hungry twenty-something at home. We ordered a rice pudding for dessert and dug in before I was able to snap a picture! However I did have breakfast and I wasn't too happy with that. She told me how the bill is presented which after the explanation it made sense. But here's the issue I had. The waitress Veronica came up and said hello. She didn't smile, nice but lacking personality for waitressing I left her a good tip only because I know the tips are what they survive on I waitressed for many years So I can tell a really good one from a fair one to a bad one I had other waitresses there before that were exceptional!! Anyway.... I told her I wanted decaf and she said it would take five minutes. Some guy and my coffee still wasn't ready I would have liked to had my coffee to drink I was halfway through my bacon and eggs before coffee came The potatoes were old and greasy. I told the guy and waved him over But then Veronica saw me flagging him over She told me my options and said that the pancakes would be $3.00 extra. I really don't get that? So big disappointment on the breakfast. I told Ashley I was going to leave a review, a good one, but that is because she was a great bartender.
