We will admit it we usually order very simple pizzas; we usually get one cheese and one salami and/or pepperoni. They also have "no name" cakes that are sooo good!!! They are "chocolatey" and moist; way better than a Ding Dong, though they look pretty similar. When you have a Mod pizza for lunch or dinner you don't feel weighed down and overly full. But; you do feel like you've had enough and it's terrific. The sauce is just right not too tangy, the cheese is perfect: not too much not too little. Everyone has their own preferences when it comes to pizza and for us MOD pizza is our favorite! It's not the only pizza we like but it is the very top pizza that we frequent regularly. We stopped into Mod Pizza when we hit the hangry wall in the same shopping center and needed an easy solution. The space is clean and bright, and the ordering flow is similar to most fast casual restaurants. What wasn't was the price. There are no menu prices displayed, and that should have been a red flag, but I ignored it assuming it would be comparable to other fast fired pizza places I have experienced. $10 out the door for a side salad?! You've got to be kidding me!! Absolutely outrageous, especially when you aren't transparently notifying patrons of your prices. Two meals (pizza, salad, drink) was almost $52 -- at that point, I'll just order a couple NY pies and feed a small army instead of just two people. The food was good, not great, and definitely not warranting the exorbitant price tag. The hangries do wild things to you, but I feel pretty confident in saying we're never going back. read more

This means that they will make one pizza for your group, while one or two other pizzas get made for other groups. This means that your groups pizzas will never go in the oven near the same time, or come out near each other. Everybody will be eating at their own timeline if you want hot food. I enjoy the build your own pizza option from Mod Pizza. I am always pleasantly surprised by the quantity of toppings you get for the relatively inexpensive price. They also have a build your own salad option. In addition to pizza and salads,​ they have a variety of beverages including an amazing berry lemonade, which is made from natural fruits. The pizzas are individually sized and the sauces and toppings are just what I'm into. The regular crust is cracker thin and crispy, I love that. The "mega" crust is really a normal thickness crust which would be better if they can crisp it up just a little more. Because they are small they cook up fast. Unlimited pizza toppings for like $9?! Plus, the pizza was substantial enough for me to get 2-3 meals out of it. I went a little overboard on the toppings (I mean, it's hard not to!), so some of my toppings weren't very hot. Next time, I think I'll stick to a solid 4 toppings, or request that they don't pile them on so thick. Also, do not get the roasted garlic!! It was super mushy and I ended up having to pick it off my pizza. The crust was surprisingly delicious for a chain pizza restaurant and I loved the wide variety of sauces (marinara, garlic, pesto, white sauce!) and cheeses (mozzarella, feta, ricotta, blue!). The space is bright and open and the staff were super friendly and patient. I came on a weeknight for dinner and this place garnered quite the line! I ordered an 11" personal sized pizza to go with red sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, mild sausage, olives, tomatoes, artichokes, and some more mozzarella sprinkled on top. OMG, it was really good. It was $8.47 plus tax. Such a deal for an excellent pizza. The red sauce is tangy and not too sweet. Everything tasted fresh. Salad was the seasonal special - it had so little dressing that it was a bit boring but I was feeling lazy and didn't go ask for more. That said, everything was fresh and crisp as it ought to have been. Garlic bread sticks were simple but flavorful. The rosemary was overpowering on a few slices but the rest were fine. Pizza 1 - pepperoni, regular crust, "extra crispy" Pizza 2 - regular crust, ricotta, lots of other things Pizza 3 - thick crust, pepperoni + veggies The winner for me was pizza 2. Regular crust is thinner but not cracker thin. It had just enough chew to it balanced out by pillowy parts. I didn't mind the thicker crust either but prefer the thinner deist. Crispy! Went to the Santa Rosa avenue location. I have never been here before. I was going to get in and out and deceived I didn't want to go cross town. When we walked in we were the only ones there. The customer service was horrible and unwelcoming and honestly they were not nice. I wanted to make a modification to the pizza and they were very reciprocating. They said we could so we did but that resulted in a poor effort. I love lots of toppings and those were very minimal. There were two people waiting on us, they didn't ask what size we wanted do the one girl started making the pizza without asking. She was a B****, I would fire her. The rock in my front yard had more personality. I really don't see why it's so hard to talk to people and get to know what they want especially then they are spending their hard earned money. The guy was much better. Personally it was the first and last time. We aren't going back it was a poor experience and honestly there's too many other better options.
