Called in an order for two xl cheese pizzas. I was told 35-40 minutes and price. No problem. Ordered here several times and worth the wait. Showed up on time and was told they didn't make the pizzas and it would be 25 minutes. I asked what happened and was told they didn't put my order in. Mistakes can happen, but it wasn't busy for a Tues as it was 7pm and 1 pizza on the top of the oven and only a couple people inside. No apology or offer to "make it right" is just bad business. The pizza at this place is quite delicious. I ordered one slice of regular pepperoni pizza. The slice was quite big. The crust is rather thin, the pepperoni and sauce is tasty and overall is a pretty good pizza. The service was friendly and quick. They heated my pizza in the oven which made it warm right before I was going to eat it. The ambiance is comfortable and relaxing. Would recommend this pizza place. read more

I love me some Mambo's pizza and I recently (2 years ago) discovered they have burnt ends. a barbecue dish, traditionally made from the point end of a beef brisket. They are known for their rich, smoky, and intensely flavorful taste, achieved through a slow smoking process. The "burnt" part refers to the crispy, caramelized edges that develop during cooking. And they don't cost much and they are delicious!! Mambo's has a friendly staff and their pizza is delicious It reminds me of pizza back East! I've been coming to mombos pizza for as long as I could remember. Apart from NY pie they are the only spot you can kinda get a pizza by the slice. To be honest, I don't like salads from basically anywhere, but I love their Caesar salad. I feel like it's always fresh and if you add grilled chicken to it, it is literally a great lunch or like dinner. I like how they always have a variety of pizzas at the front and you can choose basically any pizza that they have there. The customer service here has always been great. The workers genuinely seem to enjoy working here. Everyone is always smiling. It's definitely a mellow spot ever since it got renovated. It has kind of like a bar area, which is kind of cool, but I normally just do takeout. Either way they have a ton of flatscreen TVs where people can watch the games or watch a TV show etc.. My friends mentioned to me that Mombo's was good! So for the superbowl we ordered from them. I love the crust! Its thin and airy! A bit soggy in the middle but expected if you dont eat your pizza right away. We got half and half! I got my half with chicken and pesto and my husband got his Hawaiian half. We had it for pick up. The wait was fast and the people were friendly. The price is reasonable. I liked it and was satisfied and will definitely order again! read more

Staff was so kind and energetic asking if we were ok if they put two different flavors touching in the oven. I love how it has a bar like setting with tvs to watch the game. Mombo's Pizza has a real sports bar feel to it, with the hip music playing and the big screen TV's along the walls, the pizza is the cherry on top. I wanted a slice of pizza last night so I decided to stop here. You can order a whole pie or just a simple slice. I ordered a single pepperoni for just myself. They actually have pizzas ready, once you order they then put your slices ordered in the brick oven so that it's served hot. I love the fact the pizzas are thin crust. The staff are super friendly and gave excellent customer service. I could tell from all the foot traffic this is the neighborhood go-to for pizza. The Bombos BBQ is everything I need to fulfill my guilty pleasure when I need some comfort food at night. It's great without, but with a little ranch and hot sauce. . Oof. Mombos definitely adds more creative in their menu than other pizza joints, something I can appreciate, and it goes to tell you they know flavor profiles. Classic and new. In Santa Rosa it's got a good dining hallway next to the counter. Not too big, so maybe don't expect to find a seat during busy hour. You can also grab a slice if you're just in the area and need something to fulfill a craving . The staff inside, very friendly. Feels like everyone enjoys each other and has never had a bad day. I placed an order for sliders, wings and bombo bites - it was not said until fully cashed out that it would be 30-40 minutes to have anything other than reheated slices out. We are pushing 45 minutes now. Either they have out grown their ability to serve at this location or they are trying to drive down their customer service score. Either way this is the third time and this has clearly taken a nose dive. The last time I was able to cancel the order and walk away and get food elsewhere faster. Extremely disappointing and there doesn't even seem to be the same staff. Seems like since they've started doing mobile food services (doordash) they care less about who dines in. read more

Spent $100 here on Togo food tonight. I had to recook the pizzas because it was so undercooked. Like disgusting soggy raw dough. We ended up getting sick after eating it!!!!!DIARRHEA AND VOMITING! had to throw everything away what a waste of money. I also got the pesto bites which were $11. Only 1/4th of them had cheese the rest were just cooked plain bread. My salad came with no dressing at all for $9 with no dressing I could barely eat it. We ordered delivery and got half mambo mondos with pepperoni added, and half roasted veggie. The flavors worked well I'd say for both sides. The pesto came through nicely tho I'd say some of the veggies were over which made for some inconsistencies in bite and detracted overall. That ricotta tho. I've been coming to Mombo's for probably 3 or 4 years now, and I have yet to ever have an experience that wasn't 5 stars. Their slices are egregiously large (this is a huge plus in my book), they tend to have a great selection out for already made slices, their prices are very reasonable, and the staff are awesome at every location i've been to. I used to go to the community college this location is next to and it's always my favorite location, the cook here with all the tattoos is an absolute machine at cooking and he creates some amazing works of art with some flour and an oven. I'm not even a big detroit style guy but don't be afraid to try something other than their signature new york slices, everything they touch turns into gold here. Shout out to the chef for taking his job so seriously and absolutely killing it consistently. Cannot praise him enough. read more
