This is my second time here because I wanted to give it another chance but I was disappointed. For starters I found a hair in my salad, secondly the pizzas we got lacked flavor. I left there feeling sick to my stomach. The one thing we did like was the fries they were paired nicely with the sauce.
Overall we loved the pizza and would be back. The service upfront was not very nice/good at all but our waitress was great and the rest of the night went smooth once seated. We ended up waiting an hour even though we had a reservation which is frustrating and when we inquired about it we weren't treated so nice. The patios are cute while you wait though with drinks and a bar and flowers to buy there is at least something to do and cute places to sit. Once seated we had a nice dinner. The food did take awhile but the fungi pizza was worth the wait. It trumped all other food we bought. We were recommended the squash blossom pizza by a neighbor at our Airbnb and I adore squash blossoms. It was just ok. The mushroom pizza, however, was outstanding! Drinks were delicious too. Prices were good. Buy the dips for the pizza. Especially the one with honey. We will be back.
Ordered delivery from this place while staying in town. Fast, fresh, and nice way to end the day in our air bnb. Overall top notch taste, and I'd hope so for the price. The Margherita pizza was the perfect blend of flavors and textures, and the crust was cooked perfectly. Garlic bread and potatoes were both fine. They gave us lots of sauces-- spicy marinara, oil, ranch, and a chipotle mayo tasting one. All tasted homemade, but the ranch was definitely the stand out. The others were just okay. We'd probably dine in next time to save on cost and check out what it's like.
Sonoma Pizza Company in Forestville has cracked the code: build an outdoor patio so gorgeous people forget to complain about the food. Picture this -- covered seating, oversized hanging lamps doing their best "moody Pinterest board" impression, heaters humming away so you can pretend it's not 50 degrees out. It's the kind of space that makes you want to cancel your other plans and just live there with your friends. The pizza is solid, no notes needed. The salads, though? Borderline showing off. And the dessert and drink menu -- full beer, wine, and cocktail lineup -- means there's truly no reason to ever leave. Gluten-free folks, rejoice: their GF crust is so good it should probably be illegal, since it's somehow indistinguishable from the regular stuff. Plus my buddy Kyle from Camp Meeker says it is the "best he's ever had". No sad cardboard substitute here. Service is fast and friendly, which honestly almost feels like a bonus at this point given how busy you'll be admiring the lighting. Basically, I'd marry someone here. Or throw an office party here. Possibly both, same night, no judgment. This place is too hip for its own zip code.
Amazing pizzas! Not your standard pepperoni pizzas (but you can get one)... instead you have your choice of unique and delicious options. And they have appetizers like meatballs and charred cabbage. We finally decided to have their fungi and quesobirria pizzas...wow. So full of flavors on a thin crisp crust. The quesobirria also came with a dipping sauce. Now i understand why this restaurant is so popular.
Great experience. I can't believe we live so close by and this hasn't been on our radar since my husband is such a lover of pizza. Came in for lunch on a Sunday today. Hubby had a cider and I had a mojito spritzer which was DELISH. We elected to sit inside since hubs was running hot today, but I have my eye on the outdoor deck for next time. We shared the seasonal special - Summer Squash Blossom pie - Goat cheese stuffed squash blossoms, mozzarella, provolone and roasted eggplant caviar (contains dairy), with marinated cherry tomatoes and piqullo pepper olive tapenade, finished with lemon basil.. DIVINE!! A bit of a wait for the pizza, but we were in no hurry and quality takes time. I just love a wood fired pizza with the crispy yet chewy crust. Will definitely return to try other items. Pricey for a lunch for two, but well worth it.
Had been hearing buzz about Sonoma Pizza Co and thought we'd give it a try. We had just come in from a big hike and had a thirst and an appetite - so we were ready! Started with Strawberry coolers - which were a treat! Light and refreshing - just what we needed. Then we had the Strawberry Burrata (picking up on the theme here?) - which was also tasty. Strawberries were sweet and delicious thought the dressing lacked a little snap. Next up was the Garden Salad, which had a nice variety of veggies in it, including fresh beans which was a nice touch. We finished with a mushroom and sausage pizza, which was well made. Great thin crust, tasty mushrooms, and had a good balance overall. Bonus points for bringing us out Calabrian chili sauce and chili crisp to try with the pizza! Great little spot. Food is fresh and healthy! Service was friendly and prompt, but be careful about coming when they are busy - there may be a wait - this place is popular!
This place is really cute, right on the highway in Forestville. We were seated promptly when we arrived around 4pm on a Monday. Lots of natural light and fresh air coming in through the windows. Someone came to take our drink order and food order right away and the pizza... man oh man... so delicious! Loved every bite! Definitely recommend!!
I've done multiple take-out orders from Sonoma Pizza Company. Each time the food has been absolutely terrific. Their sourdough crust is a combination of perfectly charred edge (leoparding) while also having the classic chew. Sonoma Pizza Company uses a naturally leavened sourdough crust which is made from 100% organic blends, locally sourced in Petaluma, and cold-fermented for 72 hours. All of their produce is local from Sonoma County and 100% organic. To start, and honestly, one of their best dishes, is their SPC Meatballs. Warning, they have a kick (spice), but the Bellwether Farm ricotta offers a refreshing coolness to the spice. One of the best things about the pizzas is that all of them have elevated ingredients. Nothing is a standard pizza that you'd find in "Anytown USA". They use local high quality cheeses and meats. They also believe that everyone should enjoy pizza, so they offer many vegan and gluten free options for no extra charge. Our favorite pizzas include: THE CONSTANT GARDENER - a refreshing "explosion of vegetable goodness". A wonderful mixture of tomato, artisanal mushrooms, peppers and creamy mozzarella cheese. We just enjoyed this during our last order and will definitely be getting it again. SPC COMBO - has been our day one go-to pizza. The toppings are generous! This hearty pizza is covered in a meaty fennel sausage and peppadew peppers, which offer a bright contrast to the fatty sausage. We will never not order this one. Another great thing is when you go to pickup your order they offer local wines, beers and ciders. It's rare to find a pizza place that offers a locally made Pinot to go alongside your delicious pizza. But Sonoma Pizza Company has your back!
I'm breaking my self-imposed rule of not giving five stars to a place I've only been to once, but sue me -- the pizza here was EXCELLENT. Went during lunch and sat outside (which is either wise or needed with a larger group -- we were 7 people) -- they have outdoor heaters, which was necessary and worked great. To be honest, if you don't need to sit outside or the weather isn't gorgeous, I'd probably suggest sitting inside -- there's not really a nice view and you do hear outside noise. But that didn't detract from our meal in the slightest! We ordered three pizzas for 7 of us, plus two salads to share. One friend also ordered some garlic bread, which came with some marinara dipping sauce on the side. Neapolitan pizza is different from what you get at a typical pizza place and these pizzas were particularly delicious and well-made. The house salad and caesar salad were both excellent -- fresh, fresh, fresh, with lovely dressings, neither of which overpowered the flavor of the veggies. Pizza-wise, we shared a Margherita, a Bianca and an SPC combo. That marinara sauce that was used to dip the garlic bread into was featured on both of the sauce-based pizzas, and boy was it excellent. Simple but so flavorful! We also had some chili oil on the side for dipping pizza/crust -- recommend that if you're someone who likes a bit of heat. They have some interesting drink choices as well -- a hibiscus cardamom tea, which I didn't try, but was a hit at our table, as well as a particularly rooty root beer. We were too full for dessert, but even with all that food we left sated but not uncomfortably full. The portions are meant to be shared and it's definitely worth it to get a number of things and bring home leftovers (including a side container of that marinara sauce!).
Creative appetizers, salads, comfortable atmosphere, efficient service make this an excellent spot for dinner! Pizzas are the main attraction for good reason: thin crust, high quality toppings, perfect for sharing. Make sure to check specials: kale salad was gorgeous and delicious! Appetizer with persimmon, burrata, hazelnuts, oranges.....Holy cow what a treat! Seating indoors and outdoors (heated tent) makes this ideal any time of year!
Mouthwatering pizza. Service was good, we came during a fairly quiet time. The strawberry soda was good but probably wouldn't get again. Felt more like soda with strawberries in it. Interior was very nice.
My friend and I met for dinner on a weeknight, we made a reservation to sit on the patio. The patio alone is comfortable and cute, and there was live music which added to the ambiance! We shared the house salad, it is yummy & refreshing, and is a large serving (yay!) which is perfect to split between the two and we even had a little extra. Each of us got our own Pepperoni Nirvana (Chris' Way, highly recommend) and oh my! We definitely could've shared the pizza as well and had 4 slices each, but I wanted leftovers. I was highly impressed, definitely made it to the top of my list of favorite pizza in Sonoma County. We shared the caramel cheesecake and again, oh my! It was outstanding. I knocked off one star because of the service. We were greeted shortly after we sat. Got our drinks & salad in, then once that was dropped off - ordered the pizzas. Once our pizzas arrived, it seemed as if the server completely forgot about us. Which is fine because granted, it was a busy evening. Both of us have 10+ years in the restaurant industry so we understand. But it was time for us to order our dessert, she was not coming around. We finally got her attention and ordered the dessert and asked for the check, which is when we figured she had forgotten about us as that took forever to arrive. We were done with our dessert when she finally brought it over - again, it's not a big deal. I highly recommend this place and I will be returning and bringing all my people!
Had a great lunch here with my Dad on the weekend. They have a nice and shady outdoor patio seating area and there was a cool breeze coming in from the ocean. We ordered the meatball appetizer which came with meatballs and a ton of sauce. They had good flavor and the meat was very lean almost dry due to the lack of fat. The left over sauce was great to dip our pizza crust in. We got the margarita and squash bloom special pizzas. The margarita was solid but we both thought the squash bloom was tastier. The pizza is very visually appealing, but could taste better. Pizza is quite pricey for 12 inch, ranging from $24 - $29. Missing a key flavor in the dough: it advertises as sourdough, but it is missing sour taste. I think the dough needs way longer fermentation. A couple parking spots in lot, but plenty of street parking. Weekend lunch, plenty of seating, went with the patio. The patio space is lovely, I really enjoyed the space. Staff were really patience and helpful. Order the Hen in the vineyard ($28) and cosmic combo Signature aka combo ($29) Pizza. Get their DIPS! The Hen in the vineyard is a lemon chicken with lemon feta, onion, grape spread, and thyme. Has a bit of sweet and savory. Unfortunately my table did not taste any lemon flavor and the lemon chicken could be tender. The cosmic combo was pretty good, but still missing sourdough flavor. One thing I did like is their dips: ranch dressing and pepperoncini & preserved lemon. Ranch has a possibly cucumber/spinach component which was tasty. The pizza are visually pleasing, but I've had better pizza in the Bay Area. The pizza dough is flavorless, not very airy and not very sourdough. read more
Insane meal at Sonoma Pizza Co. This is the type of spot all pizza places wish they could be. Unreal food, premium, hip atmosphere, and fantastic service. Pricing definitely on the high end for pizza, but completely worth it. Seated on the insanely gorgeous patio at SPC, we enjoyed one of the best pizza lunches I have ever had. Starting with the Patatas Sonoma. Crispy, creamy on the inside, and paired with a perfect dipping sauce. The corn ribs and shishito peppers were up next. Again, an insane dipping sauce with super tender ribs and nicely charred shishitos. We then enjoyed two pizzas, one plain cheese and the other being the summer special, the Peachy Piggy. Both were great, but the Peachy Piggy with the balsamic glaze over the fresh peaches and crispy pork belly was actually phenomenal. Forestville seems like a sleepy town at first glance, but SPC is a culinary delight disguised as an Instagram-worthy photo shoot spot. Don't let Forestville fool you; you can eat like a king for every meal. Don't forget to stop at Sonoma Pizza Co. read more

We were in the area and decided to stop by based on great reviews. We started with the meatballs which were so flavorful with a bit of spice. Very hearty, juicy, and well made. The pizzas were delish! The dough is made from sourdough starter and has the perfect chew and tang. They have ample seating indoors and outside. We visited on a mild day so we were able to sit outside and even got to try a cherry from their little garden. Sonoma Pizza Co is a must visit if in the area! read more

Amazing vibrant deck vibes on the patio with heat lamps. Fills up quickly for dinners, make sure to make a reservation. Had the special strawberry burrata salad which was almost like a dessert, everything about it was amazing and unique. Then we had the Birria pizza which was perfect spice level and delicious pork with the dipping soup. And the hibiscus cardomom homemade soda was bomb too! read more

Such a great spot!! Especially appreciate that they have vegetarian and vegan subs for most meats/cheeses. We also loved our salad and were really impressed with the good attention it got on the menu. Not an afterthought at all! Vibe is cozy and service was great! read more
Still some of the best pizza out there in Sonoma County! You really can go wrong here. The vibe is vibing! Bright, open, inviting. Every time I've visited the staff is smiling and helpful. The pizza is some of the best. You can truly taste the quality in the ingredients. The dough is so light and fluffy. I wish I lived closer so I could try more options more often. read more

Sonoma Pizza Co. is a reliable and tasty gem. I've stopped in a few times for take and bake for the convenience around 6 pm and have been lucky to nab the last pizza available, so that's something to keep in mind. Tonight we had some extra time and placed a pickup order. We love the pepperoni nirvana Chris' way. It feeds our family of two for 2 nights. Toppings are plentiful and the crust is perfectly cooked -- not too charred but with a nice wood fired bite to it. I haven't dined in yet but the ambiance is very inviting and I'd considering doing so in the future. read more
cute little spot in forestville. would not have found this had taylor not recommended it. cute decor and aesthetic. i went with a bunch of people and shared everything which was fun. my ideal dinner set up. the staff was so attentive and made sure i could get the tab without any argument from my group. i started with the citrus passionfruit house made soda. wasn't super carbonated like the average soda but great flavor and super refreshing. first up was the Warmed olives with chili threads served in a citrus spiced marinade. i liked the warmed temp. next up was the Crispy Brussels Sprouts with Aleppo pepper, salt, served with a preserved lemon aioli. the aioli was interesting. it tasted like something that i had tasted before, but i couldn't put my finger on it. very "essence of" flavor. the meatballs were beef-pork-prosciutto meatballs with house made marinara, Bellwether Farms ricotta, shaved parmesan, and fried herbs. great meatballs. def on the spicier side for meatballs, but i was a fan of melty cheese was a nice touch for sure. we ordered the seasonal burrata which was Burrata with Beets & Citrus which had Badger flame beets, cara cara orange, blood orange, pomelo, candied kumquats, puffed barley. It was super fresh tasting though and a great quality of all the ingredients. I wish there was a dressing on it, but that's just a personal preference. the Sunflower Seed Caesar had Little gem lettuces, house-made croutons, shaved parmesan, toasted sunflower seeds dressed in our tangy anchovy caesar dressing. i'll give them points for the lettuce Being crispy, i ordered the spc combo which had Tomato sauce, pepperoni, fennel sausage, mozzarella, provolone, parmesan, Mycopia mushrooms, red onions, peppadew peppers. was definitely a little hot, but I thought it had a good balance. It was very onion heavy, so if you don't like onions, this was not the pizza for you. The pizza had great support and that they didn't flop all over the place when you lifted them up. It was a good call to add the prosciutto. The garlic on this was impeccable chefs kiss. the last pizza we got Funky Fungi which came with Mixed Mycopia mushrooms, Marin French brie cream, mozzarella, sautéed garlic chives, red onion, parsley, parmesan. + Haley's Way: Fennel sausage and black truffle oil. this was my favorite pizza of the evening. it was very well balanced. I love a sausage and mushroom pizza, so I'm glad they had this. You can't go out to eat and not get dessert, So we tried two different ones. We got the vanilla ice cream drizzled with olive oil and sea salt. Obviously it was the flakey sea salt. It was also great quality olive oil, which I appreciate appreciated. Then i ordered the Basque cheesecake on a recommendation from the server, and I'm glad I did. it was a cheesecake, but it was sort of custard adjacent. The crust is normally my favorite part of the cheesecake, and while this didn't have one, the caramel and dates it was served with made up for it. Another internet gem randomly found on FB. It's about a 30min trek for me to get out to Forestville from SR. I packed up the husband and dog and off we went. Of course we had to sit al fresco style with the poochie. They have a cute pet friendly patio and the Belgian Malinois loved thier potatoes and pizza crust. My little vegan heart was taken to paradise when I found out that I can make their pizzas both vegan and Gluten free. The Fungi captured my attention and went for that. I added vegan cheese and the vegan sausage. However, I am not a vegan cheese or mock meat type of vegan and will leave that off next time. The vegan sausage is more of a crumbled Chorizo. The GF crust is sooooooo good. It's made in house and definitely take the cake for the best crust. They also have 2 vegan dessert options. The service was incredible. The establishment was clean. Cute patio. I want to come back and try the Garden pizza vegan style. And the veggie sando. Of course I'll be bringing the dog to their pet friendly patio. read more
Fabulous pizza, wonderful side dishes, lovely service! Stopped by for dinner and there was a 30-minute wait for a table on the back deck. When we ate here before, the upper deck wasn't open so we sat outside at the tables next to the parking lot. The host said that the upper deck is open all summer. They were right on target with the wait estimate. Exactly 30 minutes later, I received a text saying our table was ready! The upper deck is spacious and has lots of seating. It is quite lovely and we had the most delightful and friendly server, Natalie. She told us that they had sold out of their special, the Peachy Piggy. We were all very disappointed as that was the pizza we wanted to order. So instead, we decided on: Funky Fungi - Mixed mushrooms, French brie cream, sautéed garlic chives, red onions, parsley SPC Combo - pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, red onions, peppers, cheeses Potatoes - crispy seasoned wedges of potatoes with a chili-garlic aioli Sunflower Seed Caesar salad - whole lettuce leaves mixed in Caesar dressing with croutons and shaved parmesan cheese We were glad we ordered some dishes before the pizza as we were told the pizzas would take about 50 minutes. Natalie brought us two extra carafes of water, which was a great observation. We appreciated our sweet server as she is everything you want in a server: pleasant, professional, lots of smiles, checked on us even though she was quite busy. The potatoes and Caesar salad were outstanding. Potatoes cooked perfectly, crispy edges, nice dip. The salad had whole lettuce leaves tossed in dressing, placed beautifully on the dish with shaved parmesan and croutons. We did not see any sunflower seeds on our salad though even though it is called a sunflower seed Caesar but it was not a problem for us. The Sonoma-style pizzas are 12 inches, wood-fired with fresh ingredients. The sourdough crust is thin, soft, yet crispy. The flavors meld together beautifully and provide a wow taste sensation. We will stop by again soon and hopefully we will be able to order their Peachy Piggy before the season is over. They turned on the hanging lights around 8:00 which added a cozy touch to the relaxed dining experience. Reservations are highly recommended for a weekend dinner during the summer. read more
Pricey but worth it and you won't find anything like it close by. They have some pretty special pizzas. Definitely gotta try the cheeseburger pizza when available. We love the pepperoni, cheese, and SPC pizzas over all but haven't had one we didn't enjoy yet. Caesar salad is my favorite and their ranch is dill heavy for a great flavorful punch with your pizzas. Their mixed drinks are really refreshing and the service is always good. They offer indoor and outdoor seating and have entertainment outdoors sometimes! Great little neighborhood spot! We stopped here on our way into Guerneville and I'm so glad we did, everything was amazing! We had our dog with us and they're pet friendly so we sat out on the patio. Food was great and came quickly, and they had a great wine and beer selection. Highly recommend this spot. read more

Love this place! Amazing pizza, beautiful outdoor patio and great service. First time we came we tried the pepperoni nirvana, Chris's way (added Ricotta cheese & hot honey) w the side of chili oil & ranch and the spring salad. Both so, so good! 2nd time we tried the funky funghi, Hayley's way (added sausage & truffle oil) and the sunflower cesar. Yum! Not a big fan of the sparkling wine cocktails but the food makes up for it. We'll def be back to work our way through the rest of the menu!! read more
SEP2025 So we've been through a few times. Once for takeout and once for dine in. When we ate in on a Friday night, and it was quite busy. Food took a long while to come out and there were definitely a lot of to go orders during as well. Which we learned from and took it to go the second time around haha. Our server was really nice though. He answered any questions that we had and checked on us quite frequently despite how busy it was. The inside is laid out well with a number of small tables and some larger seating to fit mutliple types of parties. Definitely a lot of families as well. When we dined in we tried the strawberry greens forever, the meatballs, funky fungi haley's way, and the peachy piggy with a trio of dips. The meatballs were a suggestion from the server so we could dip bread into it and it worked quite well. The meatballs were a bit tough for me, but the sauce was rich and added well for the pizza crusts. The strawberry greens tasted really fresh. I liked the strawberries in it as some were pickled which made for varied bites and flavors throughout. Both pizzas the flavors worked really well. The fungi had a good amount of mushrooms on it, and everything was cooked well. The other ingredients balanced well and added a nice savoriness to it. The peachy pig was the most interesting I'd say though. Just a nice salty sweet between the peach and the bacon bite to bite. The drizzled balasalmic added a nice touch with the greens. The crust was easy to bite through at the end of the meal. For the trio, it wasn't as useful as we thought it would be. The pizzas had a good flavor profile already and they didn't add to it. I will say we did repurpose the crispy garlic and chili oil in noodles, and the pepperoncini into a hot dog topper. For pickup, we got the pepperoni nirvana chris's way, a constant gardener, and an order of the garlic bread. The pepperoni nivana chris's way was the better of the two. I was hoping for a little more from the hot honey. The constant gardener was pretty good. I liked the mix of ingredients and everything tasted fresh. read more

Loved my meal here!! My boyfriend and I stopped in on a weekend for lunch around 1pm, and it was a gorgeous day outside so we opted for outdoor patio seating. The patio on a raised platform behind the building and the decor is super cute. The seating area is covered with some adjustable sunshades as well. There was lots of seating, so this could be a nice place for a group meal, though I don't know what the inside space looks like. There's a small parking lot just outside the building. We ordered the Patatas Sonoma to start, which were well seasoned and crispy and came with a yummy aioli. For the main we shared the Chicken Bacon Bliss Special. Without the starter we probably would've finished the pizza, but we ended up with two slices to take home. I'd say this was still a good amount of food for two people, and I probably could have eaten more pizza if I hadn't been saving room for dessert. The pizza was absolutely delicious and the crust/dough really stood out to us for being pleasantly fluffy and chewy. Great flavor combo with the toppings -- I've never thought to add chili oil to pizza but the subtle heat kick really works! I would definitely like to come back and order this pizza again. To finish it off we had to order a root beer float for dessert, which was very nice as well! Service was great and super friendly! Highly recommend this spot! read more

pepperoni nirvana and cosmic combo were both excellent. the sourdough crust can't be beat. perfect balance of toasted crunch with chewy undercarriage, possessing a slightly tangy flavor and dusty texture. pepperoni curls up as pepperoni cups, which make me happy. on the combo, the sausage has a nice hint of fennel and is crumbled throughout giving you an excellent sausage to slice ratio. mushrooms are earthy just the way you like em. Emilia provides efficient service and we enjoyed her presence. hip atmosphere showcasing a mid-century modern vibe. their pizzas do cost on the higher end, so there is a price to pay for this quality. only complaint is wishing the pizzas were bigger. read more

Better to sit inside or out?
It depends on the weather and what you like. Indoors is comfortable and you may sit with a view of the pizza chefs are throwing dough, pretty cool! Outdoors is covered and I think has outdoor heaters, not needed now of course.
