What a cool wine lounge and the champagne is $20 a glass and so worth every sip!! The girl who was serving us is so sweet and the vibes are super chill on a Sunday afternoon 9/29/24 in Windsor, Ca

A very very special place. I visit each year and am greeted with some of my favorite wines. The chocolate tasting paired with their wines is a delectable and unforgettable experience. If you can stop in... I am sure you will be pleasantly surprised.

I stopped in on a rainy night to enjoy their happy hour Charcuterie. It was a delicious treat and the wines were yummy. I'm so blessed to be with him walking distance of this business.

Oops! I ate most of the burrata and prosciutto plate before I thought to take a photo. And that glass holds bubbles!

I'm not a wine lounge sort of person. However, Windsor,CA has become rather inviting with some of their new shopping options. Among those options is the Baldessari Wine Bar. Easy parking, easy walk in, and a welcoming shop . Refined, beautifully decorated, comfortable for everyone. I first went in because one of my kindergarten students works there. That was a long time ago...David is a master of making people feel comfortable, welcome, and important. So I joined the wine club after tasting on my first visit. Wow! This is right up my alley! I get invited to special events, I get to choose wines and bubbles, they offer plates that are great for accompanying wines. Everyone who comes in is welcomed warmly, wether they stay and buy or not. I 've passed some important afternoons enjoying wine, a burrata board, and enjoying the company of folks who happen to come in.

Super cool live music right in the wine bar.

Baldassari Wine Lounge- Windsor California Baldassari Wine Lounge is on the Town Green in Windsor California. It's an awesome live/work situation of buildings that incorporates a ton of restaurants, bars, shops and other businesses in a walk friendly district that has a unifying park like setting. Went to Baldassari for a glass of wine and some cool live music. Weather was perfect for some patio relax time with wine and song. The vibe was cool and casual and the servers were super welcoming and attentive. I took the server's recommendation and got the Malbec. It was very tasty! The live music was super chill. It is an easy way to spend a couple of relaxing hours in wonderful Windsor or a few minutes after a delicious dinner at one of the many restaurants in the district.

Baldassari is a small tasting lounge but it still feels warm and cozy as well. My first time here was last October for the Food and Wine Affair our server was Tara and she was awesome she knew so much about the wines and we learned a lot. Baldassari was very well organized for the food and wine affair and we had a truly wonderful experience. This one was number 3 on our list to visit, I had never heard of it before, But after a few sippity sips, I knew that I was in love with their Chardonnay it's so buttery I literally could not stop sipping away! I came back for my second visit and we got to see Tara again what a delight she is, my friend Carol who lives in Windsor she mentioned to me they have free live music on Fridays and no reservations required, so we met up at Kin for dinner and then headed to Baldassari and I'm so happy we did the music was great they had live music, Carol and I enjoyed a full tasting while we listened to the band ahhh what a great night spending time with friends and drinking delicious wines. "A little history'" This is a Family owned winery it all started with Matt and his father started the Baldassari Family Wines brand in 2003 as a tribute to his grandfather. His grandfather,Vincenzo Baldassari emigrated from Italy and lived out the American dream creating a great life for himself in America. He would often take Matt down to the basement of his house and show him the wine he had made. He would make a single barrel every year and it was one of his proudest accomplishments each year. "A passion for quality over quantity, the desire to do it the right way each and every time, and seeking growers and associates that share that same vision and passion" They don't have a lot of wines but the ones I've tasted are delicious especially that Chardonnay and I normally don't drink Chardonnays so for me that I feel it says a lot about how great their wines are here so come on down and set a spell and enjoy Clinkity Clinkity clink. Cheers my friends SYOY

    The whole wonderful mix.

My friend is a wine club member so we stopped by for some tasting. Their wines are amazing. We also did a truffle and wine tasting, it was amazing!! They pair them up perectly! David is amazing! We had so much fun!!

Walked in and did the wine and chocolate pairing. Young man who did our tasting was personable and knowledgeable. Wines were excellent and the chocolates were good as well. But the combo is definitely the way to go. So fun to see how they played off each other. Great lounge and great location on Windsor Town Green. Easy parking. Will be back on our next trip and do it again. Would recommend to friends.

Cute little wine bar with great wine, need I say more? Friendly service and a cozy atmosphere. In the Windsor town green surrounded by other tasting rooms if you're looking to do a tasting hop. Definitely will be back!

First off, they were so welcoming when we checked in. And I love that it's so pet friendly. Hostess that checked us in was a doll. The inside decor and the layout was so cute. One side is the hostess counter and right across from there is a waiting lounge area which I believe is also utilized for dining. Walking through, they have indoor seating to one side and the bar area to the opposite. Also dining available along the hi top bar counter. We had a big group which they had us set up on the patio. Another beautiful layout. It's like dining in a community garden slash secret garden. Our waitress who took care of us was amazing. So sweet and very friendly. Not just her but the entire staff there. Menu wise looked amazing. Also it was also a recommendation from one of the staff at a winery we were just at. Drink menu was quite huge too. Of course food was on our mind and it did not disappoint. Big group meant a lot of share plates to start off. A double of things ordered to start off. Daily crudo which was served with wonton chips. Fresh fish with all spices and marinaded. It was fresh and delicious. You gotta have oysters if it's available. Curry deviled eggs was quite tasty as well. Your classic eggs with a little twist. Mushroom egg rolls were a hit. It literally came piping hot so it was a little wait till we enjoy it and it was delicious. Came with two dipping sauce which paired very well. Salsa macha fries, similar concept as the elote corn with the coltija cheese, lime creme and cilantro. Brisket can also be added which we opted out for. Then there was the grilled Vietnamese steak with the not so sticky rice in a cube form. Cooked perfectly and the crunchiness of the rice was perfect. Also the dipping sauce was great. Beef brisket tacos were another hit. Two orders and loaded with meat and all the topping. Very flavorful and delicious. Cant come here and not have their almost famous chicken tenders. Big chunks of chicken battered and fried to a nice golden color. It was so juicy and served with pickle chips and dipping. You can have it hot or now with the sauce. Crispy duck confit was delicious. Nice potion of duck with bitter greens and duck fat potatoes. Brazen burger, which was pretty massive. Classic burger but better and with bacon and fries. Then you have the kimchi noodles, added chicken and shrimp or without. That dish was tasty. You either love kimchi or not and the way it was prepared with pasta, delicious. And lastly, the special was a hot ham sandwich I believe. Served with potatoes salad and gherkins. It was a hefty sandwich with loads of meat and cheese. Simply but so good. Food was excellent as we literally had loads from the menu. Of course loads of recommendations which I know why. The food was exceptional and service was great. Restaurant is beautiful and service was excellent. Also they're so pet friendly. Plus, we ordered a dog patty for the pup and it was quite tasty...lol.... Can't wait to come back, hopefully soon. Not sure if menu if set or it changes seasonally. Regardless, whoever is in charge of menu, chefs kiss.

We had to check in at the front desk, show our credit card even though I put it in when I checked in online. The guy at the front desk was very professional and cheery. He gave us a run down of the property, showed us where the time of breakfast was, on our key pouch and gave us 2 keys as requested. In the lobby they have a fruit bowl, apples and bananas. They also have coffee and hot water for tea. No hot chocolate, but they have 4 options of tea. Walking to our room in the hallway they had a table set up with lemon water and a pumpkin (we checked in October 12th) with apples in it that said take one. Our room was 322, away from the stairwell, ice machine and stairwell. It was the perfect location. The room was quiet, we couldn't hear our neighbors. The room was large. It had a desk and chair to lounge in. The TV had plenty of channels. Several HBO channels and Disney. We watched The God Father. The room also has a Kerig machine and 2 tea bags, different from the bigalo that they have downstairs, this was generic tea. There is also a fridge. They don't have a laundry bag in the closet. You have to go to the front desk for a laundry bag. The shower has Dove products (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash) in dispensers. They give you a mini bar of dove for the sink. They have 2 rolls of toilet paper on display. The complimentary breakfast was a hit. They had chafing dishes with cheese omelets and your choice of turkey or pork sausage patties. We pared this with a cinnamon roll. They also had a variety of juices, chocolate and plain milk, a pancake machine, bagels and breads. Then was something for everyone. I'd stay here again. It's near Rushing River Brewery and next door to a bowling alley that also has mini golf in the evenings. Windsor isn't in the heart of everything. But it's close enough to everything and the price was right. It was a busy hotel, we saw lots of people at breakfast, but there was still plenty of seating.
