The comfy dog beds they share

Dog Friendly- VERY! Our dogs even got a dog charcuterie board and they brought out a couple extra dog beds for them to be comfy while we stayed Wine tasting- only $20 four. They are generous with their pours Hospitality- 5 Stars!!! Between Lisa and the locals- everyone was so nice. Great conversations Very clean, great assortment of dog toys and gifts and treats!

We stopped into this Boutique tasting room on a rainy afternoon. We were reluctant to bring our 2 GSD inside as they can be a bit overwhelming however we were told they are more than welcome and were greeted with treats for them. They offered exceptional customer service and made us feel very welcome. The host was very friendly and knowledgeable. We purchased a bottle of the miss understood Pinot Noir, it was lighter bodied and very smooth. Would definitely recommend for your next outing with your furry friend.

My husband and I walked in on Sunday during this past Memorial Day Weekend with our corgi. We had previously wanted to check this tasting room during our last trip to Windsor but didn't make it in time. We were greeted with one of the friendliest staff I have ever met for a wine tasting room! We chose to sit outside since there was plenty of outdoor seating. Shelly (sorry if I misspelled your name) took care of us with our wine tasting, which is $20 each. You can check in for a BOGO deal or buy a bottle to have that tasting fee waived. We ended up buying 2 bottles and a few goodies. I loved all the little gifts in the shop and probably could've gone crazy with my credit card but I had to have self control. The wines were actually really good and I loved the names of the bottles. Shelly would tell us the story of how the owner Brenda came up with the name, which I always enjoy. She brought out the cutest barkcuterie board with treats for our corgi. Come on! Who doesn't love getting treats for their furry friends? Our corgi happily ate all the treats. Would highly recommend anyone who loves dogs and have dogs to come by this tasting room to have an adult and dog treat. Thanks again for giving us one of the best tasting experience we've ever had! And I've been wine tasting for 11 years in Sonoma County since moving to the Bay Area. So that says a lot coming out of me when I used to have almost 7 different wine memberships at one point.

Came here for my BFF's birthday. Hands down Lisa was a wonderful host. She informed us about the wine, history of the winery, places to eat etc. Definitely will be recommending this winery to friends and family. Thanks so much for a great experience in Windsor. We appreciate the great customer service!

I came across this winery while searching for dog-friendly places in the area. I must admit that I came here not for the wine, but for the unique experience for our four-legged friends. We were welcomed by the nicest staff. I forgot the name of the lady who was helping us, but she made us feel welcome and gave us a quick tour of the place. We sat outdoors. She first brought a dog bed for our pooch to make her comfortable, followed by a charcuterie board of dog treats. My dog had a fun time here. We did one flight of wine tasting. The wines also have a dog-themed name with a picture of a dog, and the tasting fees are waived if you buy a bottle, which we did. You can also order to have your own dog's picture on the wine bottle, but you need to place the order ahead of time. And there are plenty of dog themed goodies for pet owners as well as pets. If you are a dog lover and want to give them a special day, this is a must-try experience. We had a really good time here.

This is the wine they had on their website, but it was out of stock

They have a huge selection of wine and dog themed gift items and dog treats toys. There website is outdated so, just pop in to see their current selection. This is a must go to place for dog lovers or people looking for dog themed gifts.

This wine shop is so cute. It has lots of doggy toys, and all my friends have dogs but me. The wine was pretty good and very reasonable. I purchased a couple of bottles, one white and one red and a cute magnet for my girlfriend who has a dog. Nice place to go and they have happy hour with glasses of wine for five dollars.

I absolutely love this winery that I went to for the first time this week! I am biased since I'm a huge dog lover. This place is very dog friendly and the owner gives back a portion of all the wine purchased to charities supporting dogs. All purchases give 10% to charity and some select wines donate 25% of their sales to specific charities supporting dogs. The friend I was with prefered red wine so we ended up getting a couple of glasses instead of doing the wine tasting. The wine was amazing (both glasses) and this winery is in the Town Green so there is lots of restaurants and shops that are nearby. I didn't bring my pup, although we saw a dog in the winery that had grabbed multiple stuffed animals out of a basket they had set out for pups and stuffed them all in his mouth. It gave us a good laugh. The vibe was relaxing and the woman pouring our wine (I unfortunately forgot her name) was friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming, and we had a wonderful time wine tasting. The tasting room is adorable and has lots of items that are perfect for dogs and their two legged companions. You can even purchase a bottle of wine with a picture of your dog on the label that you can pick up or have delivered at a later date, which would make a good gift for birthdays, Christmas, and other holidays. I enjoyed the wine and got a bottle to go supporting canine compainions for independence. The wine was amazing and I got to support a great cause! I love this winery and I will definitely be back soon!

An added bonus was the walking path ( you will see the sign when you pull in the driveway) that had a greenway and a special events location. This was in addition to the beautiful grounds around the tasting room, which has a wonderful history as a barn, a home and now tasting room(s). We will make a point of coming back when we come back west again!

We were shown to our table and they offered us some time to walk the grounds, garden and view the lake. They said we could spend more time after lunch, viewing the rest of the property. The garden was beautiful. Lots of herbs and flowers, with labels. The restaurant itself was gorgeous. Wood. High ceilings. Nice decor. Our server seemed pretty new. He made a few errors throughout, but that did not significantly deter from our experience. It was really neat that the chef came out with every pairing and explained each course. We never felt rushed. There was plenty of wine. The food was exquisite. We ended up buying a few bottles of wine and even though I filled out the shipping information and told the server my preferred vendor was ups over FedEx because I have an account - he managed to bring our bottles of wine all bagged up, to our table. Yikes. We were curious about the pizza oven upon arrival. We saw it and hoped for pizza but they did not have that on the lunch pairing menu. So after we finished our scheduled lunch, it was pretty slow there, so we asked if we could stay and order more food. Our server brought the menu for us (after our third request) and we ordered a pizza and the fries which basically stated on the menu that they were the best fries you've ever had. Well, I can attest that they are not. Yes, they are shoestring fries for you lovers out there. But also, they're not a step too far from McDonald's. So that's all. Not the best of my life. Not life changing. Just like McDonald's. But the pizza was good. Unfortunately I had asked if it was red sauce and was given a yes answer. But you can see the pizza doesn't have any red sauce on it at all. I probably would've ordered a different one, if I was properly informed. Also, I asked for no balsamic glaze and of course it came with balsamic glaze. Yet another error. Whatever. I'm not sure what's up with people who swear by balsamic? Keep it off my bruschetta, it doesn't belong there. And don't put it on Brussels sprouts either. Yuck. Too much sugar and it's not necessary. On the pizza, it was fine, but not my preference. But it probably saved the pizza because there a was NO SAUCE. Anyhow- their little gift shop area is super cute and I perused the items. Also- they have a shelf of board games! How fun! It would be great to come by, get some light bites, a ton of wine, and play games and take a walk to enjoy the property. It's such a gorgeous place. I would recommend this place. The lunch and wine pairing was expensive, but the food was superior quality. The wine here is great. We did not become members but I can see why people do. Their Sauvignon blanc was one of my faves, so that was two of the bottles we purchased. Our order was eventually packaged and sent to us, via FedEx, not UPS, and was in good shape upon arrival.

Season Leef was our host/wine ambassador that morning and we loved her energy, attention to detail and how she treated us like we were members of the MacRostie Winery/family. She was more about understanding our palettes and pouring us what we gravitated towards to showcase the vast portfolio Heidi (winemaker) has been able to produce. Usually not a fan of Chardonnays but it was a neat experience tasting different variables and how each one is slightly different. We know we like Pinot Noirs so when we started diving into the reds, thats when we started figuring out what we liked. But, I really appreciated that Season brought over some paper and a pack of markers for them since they both still like to draw. After we've done with wine tasting, they gave us a free piece of dark chocolate (super yummy) at the end for palate cleanser. Our server was really knowledgeable and attentive though, so service was nice. Overall a great spot if you stay cool! But okay, few things to watch out for. Make sure you make a reservation in advance cuz they were packed (reservations needed prepayment). Even though we had one, we still had to wait like 20 minutes before our table was ready. We ended up tasting about six wines, which I thought was impressive. Both of our favorites were the Brut bubbles and the Zinfandel from Russian River Valley. The views are spectacular from here. I've only been in the summer before, so we sat outside on the deck overlooking the property. The bathrooms are close by and quite clean. As there's been a lot of rain lately, the mile .4 drive up to the top of the wine tasting area was extremely muddy. However, I didn't realize how muddy until we sat down and noticed mud on our pants I suppose from getting out of my car. When I arrived home, I could not believe how much mud was on the side of my car, my tires & my wheel wells. Perhaps the owners could put some more gravel down? I do know that I wouldn't drive up this road in the future after it's been rainy. But all in all a delightful experience. In the past, I've used the hiking trails, which are really nice.
