I wish I was able to spend more time here! This was a great stop just down the road from Russian River Brewing, offering up some great classic Belgian brews. The bartender was so nice and offered me samples of just about everything and since I was just stopping in to pick up some bottles to go, that was a welcome offer to help me make my selections! I met some locals who were regulars here at Cuver and they say it's the best beer in the Santa Rosa area. I was very impressed with all of the samples and ended up purchasing a few bottles to-go. The ones I've tried so far have been great and it's always nice to see a brewery who is sticking to tradition. You won't find overly hoppy IPAs here but you'll find amazing barrel aged sours, Belgian ales, and other traditional Belgian brews. If I'm around in the future, I'll definitely stop by CUVER for a longer period of time to enjoy some of their brews in the cool brewery space. They had plenty of seating and offer some game nights as well. What a treat! Cheers! read more

The beers are ok but the low rating is for our experience with the taproom staff. My husband and I came here on August 1st and there was an older female staff who poured our beers. We were the only people in the brewery and this woman came with a beer of her own and sat and talked AT us for more than 20 minutes. I find it distasteful when a person you don't know comes to sit with you and talks about themselves incessantly. This person had no interest in us as people. They did not want to have some kind of meaningful dialogue. They wanted to sit there and tell us about the home they bought in Guatemala, how they were considering buying a home with two properties on it in the area so that they could get passive income through renters, how they were a tour guide in Los Angeles and traveled back-and-forth, how they plan on dealing with their renters, how expensive items can be when building a place to rent, etc., etc. etc. etc. It was endless and apparently this individual could not tell that we were not feeling it at all. It never feels good just being an outlet for a person to talk about themselves. Eventually, we made an excuse just to leave, but we had a terrible experience because of this individual and we will never come back here because of it. read more

The bartender was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. CuVer have an excellent selection of Belgian beers. Our party enjoyed all the beers and even took some home to enjoy later. Such kind owners. The space feels really cozy with them and the decor. I loved the Pepperwood. I bought a four pack to take home but it simply wasn't enough - I need more! Small local brewery located not far from the airport. I stopped in here to pass away several hours before flying out later in the day. Place is small and cozy. Unlike a traditional tasting room with an industrial vibe, think more office space with more couches and chairs. I ordered a flight of beers which I found very enjoyable. Staff is very friendly. Exceptional brewery. Wonderful tasting experience! There are so many great beers here - where do I start? I loved all of them. I think my favorites were the dark lioness and the golden lion, but I also loved By Her Bootstraps. So delicious! Crisp and light and fabulous. Wonderful double and triple, and the mojito beer was super good. I didn't expect to like it but I did. We tried all the beers, including the ones in bottles. There were 3 of us and we split 2 tastings and bought 2 bottles to split 3 ways. The tasting room is large and comfortable - you've got a bar and also an area with tables and games! There's an outside patio too. Service was so friendly - if you like Belgian beers do not miss this place. It's truly a gem. I can't wait to bring all my beer drinking friends here. Usually I only like a couple wines at breweries as most us breweries seem to overhop now, but everything was good here. These are just beautifully balanced beers with character. read more

Right next to Russian River Brewing Co., CUVER is an absolute gem! I loved every single beer I tasted and have never had a more educational an inviting experience at a Sonoma brewery. I would recommend getting their extended flight as it allows you to experience a broad range of their creations. What a great experience. We were visiting my brother, who lives in Santa Rosa when we stumbled upon Cuver. This brewery has been around about 18 months. The owners are a sweet family from Belgium and their beers are delicious. There is outside and inside seating as well as seating at the bar. They also have two dart bars. It is a pleasure to support a lovely business like this. There is history and a story. We visited last week. We were on a 10 day California Brewery tour and we sought out Cuver which is pronounced more like Cuvée. The space they have created is warm and inviting. Plenty of seating including sofas, tables and candles. There is a tv too. Indoor and Outdoor space. I really enjoyed the flight and I suggest you get it too. You can try all of the Belgian styles and then go deep on the one you liked the best. I would visit again! read more

I love Belgian beers, but here in NorCal the selection is pretty limited and prices are quite high for the ales made in Flanders and Wallonia. Well, I had a chance to visit the Cuver Brewery in Windsor along with the Belgian Club of Northern California (BCNC). (My wife is from Antwerp.) The owners and "Brouwmeester" are a Belgian-born family now living in Sonoma County and producing beers as close to the original Belgian beers Duvel, Chimay and Orval as they can. I highly recommend a visit to their small and very clean brewery and tasting room for some delicious beers and ales. For my sake, please encourage Hendrik, the Brouwmeester, to work like crazy to perfect a beer like St Bernardus!! read more
