Super nice folks with super nice pinot. All 5 pinots we tried were from near their main winery location in Sebastopol. The first from a coastal winery on a steep slope was the leanest and my personal fave. But all the rest were also delicious and the second, though much bigger, also had a bright cherry yum to it. They have live music Friday and Saturday and often host a pop up Sundays, so a good one to go back to. They also sell wine by the glass vs the tasting or takeout bottles.

Amazing spot in downtown Healdsburg. And delicious wines!

This spot is a must visit when you find yourself in Sonoma County. A beautiful tasting room from one of my fav West County wineries. Winemaker Ross Cobb is renown as a master of Pinot noirs but the little secret is that he makes amazing blanc de noir sparkling as well as Chardonnay that this committed red wine drinker can't get enough of. And his rose of Pinot noir is why our motto is #roseallday. Furthermore also has live music at both their Healdsburg location (just a 1/2 block from the Plaza) and their gorgeous winery on 116 near Graton.

    Jazz and Pinot!

We chose to drop in Marine Layer Wines. The tasting room is located in a very nice area in beautiful downtown Healdsburg across Healdsburg square. Parking is accessible all around the street and Healdsburg square. The modern decor was beautiful and bright. There were plenty of tables and couches to accommodate all different size parties. The vibe was inviting and family friendly. There was a cozy fireplace in the front as well. We ordered a glass of Lyra Pinot Noir and a glass of Aries Chardonnay. My Pinot Noir was smooth while the wifey's Chardonnay was crisp and refreshing. The wine was great quality. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Marine Layer Wines. The staff was nice and helpful. We appreciated the family friendly environment. It was nice to take a break from the hustle and bustle of Christmas, by relaxing with a nice glass of wine.

You don't need a reservation however we were visiting in the off season and you'd probably want one during season. We were quickly seated in a comfortable area and our tasting began. A big reason for the 5 star review was our host Wolfgang. He was an incredible host, perceptive, kind, knows his wine and really cares. Throughout our tasting we learned about the wines on offer as well as background into the area which really adds to the experience. The wines, albeit subjective to individual palate were really good. I enjoyed them all and we left with a few bottles to try later. They have quite the range in their vineyards from Oregon down to Santa Barbara that really express the climates they grow in. The tasting room is very relaxing and inviting which leads to a really good experience. I really enjoyed Siduri and would recommend.

I had a reservation scheduled with a friend for 11 a.m. on a Monday and we were greeted immediately as we walked in and told we could pick where we wanted to sit.  I noticed immediately that the tasting room is absolutely beautiful! They have large windows with lots of natural light and several seating area options including tables and lounge type areas with nice chairs. They also have a beautiful map showing where their grapes come from. Siduri specializes in cool-climate Pinot Noirs from vineyards along the California coast all the way up to Washington and Oregon.  During the tasting I enjoyed: - 2023 Sonoma County Chardonnay - 2021 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir - 2020 Sealift Vineyard Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast AVA The RRV Pinot Noir was hands down my favorite and a great price point too.  Chris was our host and he was wonderful and very knowledgeable about all the wines and answered all our questions throughout the visit. If you had told me two years ago that I would confidently navigate a wine list or casually discuss soil types and native fermentation, I would have laughed. When I first walked into Lioco Tasting Room, I genuinely could not tell you whether I preferred white or red. Joining their wine club has since become one of the best investments I have made, not only in my wine knowledge, but in my social life. Lioco is the definition of thoughtful, terroir driven winemaking. Their wines lean fresh, vibrant, and balanced, with a restraint that feels very intentional. Nothing feels over extracted or manipulated. There is a purity to the fruit and a transparency to the vineyard sites that makes every tasting feel educational without ever feeling pretentious. The price point is also remarkably accessible for the level of quality they are pouring, which makes exploring their lineup feel exciting rather than intimidating. What sets this tasting room apart, though, is the people. Michael has been instrumental in helping me understand the why behind the wine, from farming practices and harvest decisions to fermentation and élevage. There is a genuine openness to sharing knowledge here. Questions are welcomed. Curiosity is encouraged. You never feel talked down to, only invited deeper. Over the past year as a member, I have watched myself grow up in my palate. I have learned what I gravitate toward and why. I have discovered that I love a coastal Chardonnay with tension and minerality, and that a light bodied Pinot with vibrant acidity can be more compelling than something heavy and oaky. That confidence now follows me everywhere. Any restaurant wine list feels approachable. Beyond the wine, Lioco is building something rare, real community. Their pickup parties feel more like gatherings of friends than transactional club events. Their Metiche pop up was a creative and intimate experience that remains one of my favorites. I have walked into events knowing only one person and left with new friends. That says everything. The space itself matches the vibe. In warmer months, there is nothing better than enjoying a glass of Estero on the patio. When it is raining, the bar becomes cozy and warm, often with records spinning in the background. It feels equal parts refined and relaxed, serious about wine but never judgmental. I have brought countless friends here for comprehensive tastings, and more than a few have ended up joining the club themselves. That, to me, is the strongest endorsement.

They have indoor/outdoor space to sit, the bar as always the best with faster service, and although i love being in the sun on a nice day, it can get really hot. Unfortunately, there are no food options offered, just delicious wine. Oh, and they have the best release parties and the other members become friends outside of the tasting room. It's a whole vibe and you really become apart of the Lioco family.

My gf and I had an…read moreafternoon lunch and tasting appointment elsewhere but decided to arrive early for coffee, saunter around the square and check out some of the shops. The high winds really changed the trajectory of our plans. PG&E turned off the power when we were in the coffee shop. Apparently, it affected everyone. It's not too bad wandering around downtown Healdsburg early Sunday morning actually. We knew we would find someone with some wine out. That's when we rounded the corner from Matheson St. down Center and saw Xzavier smiling on the patio after setting the leaf blower to the side. We lamented the high winds and power turned off by PG&E to him, and he welcomed us exclaiming he had wine he could pour. We gladly entered the beautiful patio surrounded by lush foliage. We both took a seat - partial shade and bright rays of sunshine on my back. He brought out whatever our little hearts desired and was very descriptive about the wines. The varietals here are a bit different than most. They had Carignan, Grenache, Petite Verdot and a couple different Zinfandels in addition to the other familiar types such as Chardonnay, Rose, Savignon Blanc, Cabernet and Pinto Noir. I was impressed with the arsenal of wines here! I am usually a fan of the lighter reds which generally translates to Pinot Noir. However, I loved the Grenache! The Old Vine Zinfandel and Azevedo Cabernet I had to take home also. This Cabernet was different than any other I'd ever tasted though. The grapes grow amongst Eucalyptus trees, and that flavor profile carried over into the wine. The smell and the taste was most unique and lovely. When you think there's not much difference out there, Selby will prove you wrong. This is an exceptional tasting room complete with patio full of flowers and greenery. I will gladly repeat this experience.

Luckily, a friendly face popped out, letting us know they were open and we were welcome to come in. The outdoor seating area is gorgeous, and Rafael, the winery manager, made the experience exceptional. He listened to what we like, chose wines that were spot-on, and took the time to connect with us in a way that made the visit feel special. Selby is the kind of spot you don't want to miss. The wines were excellent, the setting was beautiful, and the hospitality, especially from Rafael, made the visit truly memorable. We can't wait to come back on our next trip to Healdsburg.
