We did a food and wine pairing everything was very good. The service was good and enjoyed hearing about the history. Sorry I didnt get pics of everything. Cute decor, relaxing atmosphere, outside seating as well. Good wines and snacks.

I want to start by asking you "Do you want to have a great wine experience?" I had one of the best wine tasting experiences, right here at Portalupi Wine. We were immediately welcomed by a friendly and very knowledgeable staff. (Janet, took care of us!) There was a large group in the special room, right in front of us and they were all smiles and their outgoing friendliness, added to the spirit of Portalupi Wine. All of the Italian varietals were delicious. The taste included five pours from the menu and it was paced to where you could enjoy without feeling rushed. Portalupi Wine partnered with Levi's and for a birthday present to me I got a dark blue denim jacket with the Portalupi Wine emblazoned on the back. I wore it the next morning and it was comfortable and great in that people asked me about Portalupi Wine. I told everyone the same thing, "It was incredibly fantastic!" You should reserve a spot for yourself and your friends, to experience the delicious wines. You'll be very happy, indeed.

    So many wines!

This is my favorite tasting room in Healdsburg. They offer the most amazing charcuterie platter for a super low cost of just $45. It's literally the best deal in town. The wines and service are always fantastic. All of their wines are tasty but the Barbera was my favorite. They also sell a table wine served in a milk bottle which has a unique backstory. The food and wine pairing was also a super fun experience. I would give this place 6 stars if I could!

We always have a fabulous time at Portalupi. I've been a member for years and thoroughly enjoy their wines, charcuterie board, and amazing company! They host regular events at the tasting room, and special events at their home. Jane Portalupi even hosted a tasting tour back to her original Italian roots. The tasting room is a block off the town square in Healdsburg. They have nice parklet which is great way to spend an afternoon on those long summer days!! Nice space inside with seats at the bar, tables and couch space if it gets too hot outside! Tim, Jane and Caroline go out of their way to make each visit special!

It is a nice small winery spot for comfy tables and conversations with your favorite people. It does say kid friendly, and although they do have apple juice and chips...it is not what I would call "kid-friendly". It does not have kid menu of kids activities (crayons/activity sheets/etc). But...we made it work while the kids were playing tic tac toe. We had to leave earlier than we otherwise would, if they had stuff for my little one to eat or do. The wines were good, superb quality and nice pours for tasting. The bites were delicious and well-paired, and the staff is friendly and quite knowledgeable about the wines they serve. Fun times, and we will be back (without the grandkids!)!

My husband and I went for a wine tasting earlier part of the month. Jane was our server and she was wonderful! She gave us the history of the venue and the family. Her recommendations were superb. The atmosphere was amazing and we went home with a bottle to share with family.

My cousins and I were on our annual girls' trip and decided on stopping by Portalupi for a wine and food pairing. Aaron, who was our host, was very knowledgeable of the wines and their origins. Our visit did not disappoint- the food was fantastic and the wine even better. My only gripe is that I should have bought two bottles of the Vaso di Marina to take home! Well, that just means I "get to" go back. Looking forward to my next trip!

S E R V I C E: Our server was pretty cool and informative. They had nice seating outside and it blocked the street and parked cars very nicely. They are dog friendly as well, and have water bowls available. Just be careful if you have a bigger dog, because the tables aren't that stable. W I N E: My favorite of the whole tasting was Nebbiolo. It almost tasted sparkling to me but had that smokey, sweet flavor. O V E R A L L: This is a pleasant place to be on a weekend if you want something that's relaxing and not too fancy.

We were a tad behind in our wine club pickups, and decided it was a great excuse to reconnect with some close friends to share some charcuterie, cheeses, and wine (of course). Dave was an awesome host who provided a comfortable atmosphere for us to relax and chat. The charcuterie / cheese board ($45) is highly recommended, with a generous selection of local salumi, cheeses, nuts, fruits and crackers. The wine flight was also amazing, starting off with some delicious bubbly (snag some of the 2023 for New Years if you can), then moving on to the tasting list and some outliers as well. It was the perfect way to celebrate the holiday season with friends. We're c

We stopped here before a show. It was very busy and it took a little while for service. However, once we did - it didn't disappoint. The charcuterie board was one of the best I've ever had. The wine was great. The area was cute and they had outdoor and indoor dining. I'd definitely go back.

What a super experience. We did a food and wine pairing that was so much fun. Started with a delicious white paired with arrancini and next had red blend paired with focaccia. Nutella donuts - Italian style - were paired with the last red. Also don't miss the wonderful liquore!!! The business has seating inside or outside. Very comfortable place to spend time! Very friendly helpful folks.

We chose this place for their wine pairing and glad we did. Their employee Aaron assisted us throughout our experience. He was able to accommodate 11 of us ladies into the back sitting room. The wine and food pairing was definitely top notch. We really enjoyed Aaron's service and his knowledge of wine pairing. This was a memorable experience for all of us.

We were told the lunch dishes are the same but bigger portions. My favorite dishes from the tasting was the Brick Cooked Chicken and the Chocolate Lamington Dessert. My favorite wine was not one that paired with those two, but it was called Elate Grange Cuvée which was a red blend. I was considering the wine membership but what attracted me the most was not the wine but the food + wine pairing experience. If you had told me two years ago that I would confidently navigate a wine list or casually discuss soil types and native fermentation, I would have laughed. When I first walked into Lioco Tasting Room, I genuinely could not tell you whether I preferred white or red. Joining their wine club has since become one of the best investments I have made, not only in my wine knowledge, but in my social life. Lioco is the definition of thoughtful, terroir driven winemaking. Their wines lean fresh, vibrant, and balanced, with a restraint that feels very intentional. Nothing feels over extracted or manipulated. There is a purity to the fruit and a transparency to the vineyard sites that makes every tasting feel educational without ever feeling pretentious. The price point is also remarkably accessible for the level of quality they are pouring, which makes exploring their lineup feel exciting rather than intimidating. What sets this tasting room apart, though, is the people. Michael has been instrumental in helping me understand the why behind the wine, from farming practices and harvest decisions to fermentation and élevage. There is a genuine openness to sharing knowledge here. Questions are welcomed. Curiosity is encouraged. You never feel talked down to, only invited deeper. Over the past year as a member, I have watched myself grow up in my palate. I have learned what I gravitate toward and why. I have discovered that I love a coastal Chardonnay with tension and minerality, and that a light bodied Pinot with vibrant acidity can be more compelling than something heavy and oaky. That confidence now follows me everywhere. Any restaurant wine list feels approachable. Beyond the wine, Lioco is building something rare, real community. Their pickup parties feel more like gatherings of friends than transactional club events. Their Metiche pop up was a creative and intimate experience that remains one of my favorites. I have walked into events knowing only one person and left with new friends. That says everything. The space itself matches the vibe. In warmer months, there is nothing better than enjoying a glass of Estero on the patio. When it is raining, the bar becomes cozy and warm, often with records spinning in the background. It feels equal parts refined and relaxed, serious about wine but never judgmental. I have brought countless friends here for comprehensive tastings, and more than a few have ended up joining the club themselves. That, to me, is the strongest endorsement.

The high winds really changed the trajectory of our plans. PG&E turned off the power when we were in the coffee shop. Apparently, it affected everyone. It's not too bad wandering around downtown Healdsburg early Sunday morning actually. We knew we would find someone with some wine out. That's when we rounded the corner from Matheson St. down Center and saw Xzavier smiling on the patio after setting the leaf blower to the side. We lamented the high winds and power turned off by PG&E to him, and he welcomed us exclaiming he had wine he could pour. We gladly entered the beautiful patio surrounded by lush foliage. We both took a seat - partial shade and bright rays of sunshine on my back. He brought out whatever our little hearts desired and was very descriptive about the wines. The varietals here are a bit different than most. They had Carignan, Grenache, Petite Verdot and a couple different Zinfandels in addition to the other familiar types such as Chardonnay, Rose, Savignon Blanc, Cabernet and Pinto Noir. I was impressed with the arsenal of wines here! I am usually a fan of the lighter reds which generally translates to Pinot Noir. However, I loved the Grenache! The Old Vine Zinfandel and Azevedo Cabernet I had to take home also. This Cabernet was different than any other I'd ever tasted though. The grapes grow amongst Eucalyptus trees, and that flavor profile carried over into the wine. The smell and the taste was most unique and lovely. When you think there's not much difference out there, Selby will prove you wrong. This is an exceptional tasting room complete with patio full of flowers and greenery.
