This is a flight of all beers on tap!
Kyley S.

Great service and good food. It's a fun atmosphere to go eat. It's a brewery and is a bit louder than normal especially on a weekend evening. I did the flightbeith both sides of the board.... it was great to try all of what they had on draft! They were also running a chicken sandwich on special, it was delicious and paired well with a lot of the beers. On this trip we ate there twice!

I've been to both the Santa Rosa location and this one, and the size of this campus is impressive. They have a large restaurant, bar, gift shop, and a spacious outdoor area that is great for families, kids, and dogs. The only downside was the service on the patio; the staff pouring beers out there weren't particularly friendly. That aside, the space is well-designed and the beer is good, making it a good spot to hang out with a group.

How fun! Love their Happy Hops beer and was going through the area, so I had to stop! The flight was impressive and a lot of fun to go through. Probably could have split it, but wasn't feeling it that day. The sliders were perfectly cooked and didn't taste dried out at all. The server in the bar area was friendly but when it gets busy with after work people and he's pouring drinks for all the tables. The place in total is laid back and family friendly with lots of seating and a good selection of food offerings. I would stop in again when I drive through!

Came here with my family around lunch time. Was lucky to arrive a little early and was able to get a booth. The server and host were both friendly. The food was really good. I also ordered the Velvet Glow which I really liked. Ended up buying a case of it from the gift shop later. The location was also really nice. Will be back.

Avocado chicken sandwich and Pliny fries.

Third year in a row for the release of The Younger. Love coming to the Windsor location since it's larger and more new. Service is great, everyone is nice and food is good. Avocado chicken sandwich was on point, however, Pliny fries, just the French fries themselves were over cooked, so they were more on the hard side. I've had them in the past and when done right.. 4/5! As for The Younger, no words can describe how delicious and refreshing it is.

Wow the Russian River Brewery is impressive. They do offer tours but we came for dinner so we did not do the tour. Check their website for times. A popular restaurant with plenty of beer selections to choose from. We tried a few samples. The restaurant was a good sized restaurant with ample seating in the bar, dining area, and covered outside dining area. Two separate multi-user men and women's restrooms. Our server was friendly and attentive. The kitchen staff was overwhelmed and the food took a while to come out to our table (approximately 20-25 minutes). FOOD: My wife and friend shared... House Salad: mixed greens, fromage blanc, cucumbers, tomatoes, Croutons, honey balsamic vinaigrette (4/5). A tasty salad and the fromage blanc was delicious and added a sweet creaminess. Fish Tacos (3): baja-style tacos, Perdition beer-battered rock cod, pico de gallo, salsa verde, cornflakes, corn tortillas (4/5). Crunchy batter with a flakey fish. Russian River Burger: 7oz J Brand beef, malted bacon, white cheddar fondue, arugula, on a sesame seed bun (4/5). Our friend said, "A very good burger!" BBQ Burger: 7oz J Brand beef, Happy Hops Habanero BBQ Sauce malted bacon, jack cheese, crispy onions, arugula, on a sesame seed bun (4/5). I liked my burger as the habanero added a nice kick. Our friend enjoyed his Pliny the Elder (Double IPA). Come support your local business!

Haven't been back in awhile, and saw that they changed their back outdoor space, yup, that's how long I haven't been here! We stopped drinking beers and got more into wine. But needed some mouth cleansing and we came back. The back outdoor space doesn't have a big grassy field anymore. It's replaced by sculptures and a bark, and a DG path. They also added some shade covers. It was raining so we didn't drink outside. We got some lunch. It's your basic burgers and sandwiches lunch place. I got a salad and added chicken. Just a basic Caesar salad, it was light and healthy. We got chicken wings (naked) with sauce on the side to start. That was good. If you get them naked and just dip, it's good! My husband got their turkey bacon sandwich and it was very good. Their Pliny is always the best. Bought a whole case for the road and some gear for the little one.

This is a huge property that makes their own beer and has some great bar food options. We landed at 7:30 pm and anyone who knows this area, it shuts down tight as a drum after 9 pm. We grabbed a seat and were told we had about 15 minutes before kitchen closed. We decided to all get beers and we ordered some wings. Friends ordered a wrap and fries. Food was very good and fresh and I love both of the different IPAs I ordered. Our bartender/server was just great...as nobody was really there, but he did not rush us or give us the heave ho as they were getting ready to close. Great place...we came back the next day and had a few beers before dinner, just to get the ambience and great service in. I will come back here a lot when in the area!

Drove out of our way to check out Russian River Brewing. So naturally we had to try everything! It was a great experience, but make sure to bring a friend and don't drink it all alone. They have a self guided tour which was very cool! And the whole facility was big and beautiful! Unfortunately, we didn't try the food- but it smelt amazing!

Came out her on a weekday for the special Pliney the Younger release. Got here about 8:30am and were about 70th in line, which I hear is comparatively good, they came around stamping hands( they change up the stamp to prevent line jumping), then taking party size, name and applying bracelets. The bracelet limits each person to a max 3 pours of the Younger, and 3 bottle purchase. Got seated about 10:40 , but the wait flew by helped by the almost festival atmosphere amongst those in line(bonded and chatted with 3 guys next to us who had flown up from LA area just for this) 1st, every employee I encountered was friendly and service was top notch. Started with a taster of Russian River 110 and Tempo Change, both were nice, light, but not the reason I came 2+ hours on drive + another 2 in line. The Pliney Younger was as advertised, tasting and drinking lighter than its Triple IPA packing power . Orders some Riccotta donut holes to help ease the consumption of the 3 IPA's and they were fantastic, dense dobut, not overly sweet so the chocolate dipping sauce was a nice touch. Ordered 3 bottles of Younger to go, and am already planning next years trip.

We stopped in for their Pliney release and had a fabulous time. All the staff were super friendly. We sat at a community high top table and enjoyed speaking with some of the other guests. The Pliney fries were good, as was the crudite with hummus. And the beer was excellent! If you like beer, you need to stop in!

First flight -- IPAs all

The menu at the Windsor location is very different from that of the downtown Santa Rosa location. Arguably, slightly more upscale, and certainly more diverse, there's something for everyone to be found on the menu. The beers, of course, are the center of attraction, and those looking for IPAs won't be disappointed. As a matter of fact, we tasted through a flight of about seven IPAs, spanning the Hays profiled ones through the doubles and more heavily hopped offerings. Service was top notch, and it was nice that the server actually knocked off the tastings for a couple of the samplers we tried. They were hosting Food For Thought that day, and we're generously donating 50% of the proceeds to the charity. I'll raise a glass of that anytime. Stop by either the Russian River brewing locations, you won't be disappointed.

Famous for their award winning beers, the Russian River Brewing Company was formed by the…read moreCalifornia Korbel Winery in 1997. The original brew master became the co-owner when the winery left the beer business in 2003. It was then moved this location in 2004, opening as a brewpub. It's been on my list of places to visit for a while, so my wife, her mom, and I took the opportunity to stop in for a Thursday night dinner on our way to San Francisco from Fort Bragg. The inaugural double IPA (aka Imperial IPA) was made by the current co-owner at a different brewery in 1994. Double means it uses double the hops and malts, and the ABV is quite a bit higher. He then created Pliny the Elder (ABV 8.0%) in 2000, recognized as the most famous DIPA. The track continued, with Pliny the Younger in 2005, a triple IPA (using triple the hops and malts with ABV of 10.25%). This version is available once a year in the spring, since it costs so much money and time to make. With so much malt being used, a large amount of time (and hops) is needed to balance. I've had Pliny the Elder in bottles before, and really liked it: I don't like the hoppy 'piney' taste in my beers, but also recognize that not enough will make the beer too sweet (which I've been facing with a lot my island beers lately). Parking is street only, but there was a lot of it, with the metered parking only requiring payment till 6 pm. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and immediately seated at a table near the bar. As expected, it was quite loud, with after work folks having a good time. We got menus, ordered our food, and then decided what to do about flights. The brewery is also known for their Belgian style and thus offers two different flights. It was my first time, and didn't know how much my wife could help, so decided to order the California Sampler (a selection of 12 different West Coast 5 oz. pours of ales and lagers for $15.45) to start: O.V.L. Stout (Old Vic Loyals) - Irish nitro stout - really beginning to love stouts, and this one was good. Velvet Glow - lager - solid. Ending up buying 6 pack to bring home ($12.99) STS Pils - pilsner. Bought a 6-pack for $12.99. Russian River Porter - Blind Pig IPA - West Coast IPA Happy Hops - Juicy IPA Mosaic Stack - West Coast IPA SimCoe 25 - West Coast IPA Citra Flash Mob - West Coast IPA Mind Circus - Hazy IPA DDH Pliny the Elder - really good. bought two cans at $5.99 each. Pliny the Elder - the original Felt pretty good, so decided to order the Belgian Sampler (9 different for $13.63), Surprisingly, I didn't like it nearly as much (my favorite fruit beer during this trip was the Howzit Punch beer). Petite Robert - table beer Little White Lie - Belgian White Robert - saison Perdition - biere de sonoma Damnation - golden strong ale Mortification - quad Supplication - sour brown ale Intinction - barrel aged pilsner Consecration - sour dark ale In terms of the food, it was solid. The 8 pc chicken wings ($17) were good, and the cheesy garlic bread ($10) was filling. I had the meatball sandwich ($16) and upgraded the fries to a spinach salad (+$4): it was tasty, loved the toasted French bread and marinara sauce, with the meatballs being OK (tasted from frozen)...loved the spinach salad with strawberries and blue cheese. We finished off our meal with a Vinnies (co-owner) sundae: good vanilla ice cream with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and a lot of almond slivers. Payment was at the table, and me being again very pleasantly surprised at how little the flights were (a typical brewpub where they charge $3-$4 per 5 oz, would have cost 4 times as much...though of course I wouldn't have drunk as much either).

We ordered two salads, one large pizza and their pizza bites. The spinach salad was very good with…read morestrawberries, goat cheese, and some nuts. The green salad had a good variety of vegetables also. We got the jalapeño cheese pizza bites, which was good and the large pizza I don't recall what the name of it was, but it was also fairly good The service was a little bit slow. They were quite busy, but it took us over an hour and a half to get our table. While we were waiting my friend and I had to flag down the staff so that we could get a beer while we waited. The room was quite noisy, but the table was comfortable

Her daughter picked the place as a place she thought her mom would like. I ordered the Quesabirria Tacos with Consome that was ABSOLUTELY amazing. The meat was tender and juicy. Excellent flavor and the tortillas were perfectly crisp. Not so hard the roof of your mouth needs Band-aids but so your ears hear a crunch that is sensory pleasing. The staff and especially the Bartender were super rad! Side note is that my gram is 90 yrs old with failing health.
