This is a great stop in at the Barlow. Wide variety of drinks to choose from. Smaller inside but big back patio (covered when cooler) to enjoy outside. Staff was friendly. If hungry you can order from a few of the places nearby at the bar and they go and get it for you and bring it straight to the table.

Goat of Arms Brewery that got it's roots in literal garages of six friends back in 2012, before they moved into the current digs here at The Barlow in 2016. This is a the actual brewhouse of Crooked Goat, so all the beers are as fresh as humanly possible. They also can take direct orders from surrounding eateries that gets delivered right to your table so you can nosh and swig without having to burn any of those nasty calories. The vibe was casual, the staff was great, the beer was fantastic, and they had all sorts of games to play. There's indoor bar seating, or outdoor dog-friendly covered patio. Highly recommended if you're a beer lover. Prost!

Stopped by Crooked Goat for an after lunch round of beers. I grabbed a flight with 5 different tastes. The service was quick, though it was dead when I visited. They were brewing in the back which is always cool and there was one bartender up front. I'd recommend the Garage Beer and the Sours, though many of the other beers I got were too hoppy for my taste. If you like hoppy beers, this is your place. I could see this place being great for huge groups, events, and it was fun for my kids to have some space to play in the large outdoor areas. This is a great stop if you're in the area!

Great local brewery. Over a dozen beers on tap, 32 ounce crawlers to go, with Acre pizza and tacos.

The menu. Some beers rotate in and out

I love this spot. Great place to relax and catch up with friends. Drinks are great. Staff is friendly. They also have a very open/industrial concept.

Awesome place for drinks! Dog friendly, i liked the menu for food options too! Fun place to play some card games!

Great place to hang out and have a beer or three. Highly recommend the Bee Beard - super easy to drink and pairs great with any of the acre pizza. Service was quick and the outside is dog friendly.

Cool vibe. Nice selection of brews! Friendly service with plenty of seating options. Don't forget the crowlers to go. I enjoyed the Garage Pilsner. Light, crisp, and cold!

We just came for beer so I can't speak to the food but the atmosphere was awesome. The place was huge with two bars, covered outdoor seating with picnic tables but also a fire pit area surrounded by couches and the the interior space on the back had couches and leather cubes to sit on- it was really cool and comfortable- the kids place you'd like to stay awhile and hang out. Our flights were good. I'm a darker beer fan and I didn't love the stout but the sour and a few fruited beers were light and drinkable. The bartender was fast and friendly and even sold us the last display sticker since they were blown out from their recent anniversary party. I'd love to visit again and try a few more beers!

This is a great brewery with ample indoor and outdoor seating! I got the Tropic Thunder sour which was good. We also ordered food to-go from Sushi Kosho across the street, which used to be on the menu at Crooked Goat but isn't on it anymore (not sure why). Bartender was really kind. They have some card games available. Big parking lot and restrooms available. Nice place to hang out! Dog friendly.

Made it a day trip from SF during our recent trip to enjoy Russian River and to bring some back on our drive home from SF. The staff is great here, parking is easy in the front or back, and the location is perfect. It can be a bit dark inside, but they have both indoor and outdoor seating. Coming from LA, it's hard to find the value you're getting here If it's your first time here, get the flight. There are two options, but get the one with everything they have available. During our visit, it was 19 tasters for under $30. Not only because it's good value, but don't cheat yourself from trying all their beers while you're here. If you only know them for Pliny or Blind Big, you're missing out. The range of beers and unique flavors is excellent. Take your time and enjoy it all. I was sad I couldn't take home their RND IPA or a couple others they had sold out of in to-go cans. Did end up taking quite a few bottles/cans home to stock our fridge with, Keep it Rollin' and Mind Circus were some new ones with took home and enjoyed. Food was also delicious, we weren't too hungry, but we did get pizza and wings. Both were fresh and full of flavor. Love the kick on the Pliny sauce. Pizza was also still good later back at the hotel. If you're in the area, definitely stop by. Also worth a day trip if you're in SF. Wish we were closer and could visit more often.

I'm not sure what the definition of a "hole in the wall," but this just might be a hole in the wall. Oh yeah, off the beaten as well. Can we just pick this place up and move it closer to me? Please? If you don't know this place is here, you might never find it. We sampled a few of the beers tonight, the menu is IPA heavy (I'm not a IPA fan, but there are beers for regular Joes and not IPA Bro's). They also had a guest cider and two wine options on the menu. They did have a couple/few stouts on the menu. I did want to sample, but I was DD and needed to be good tonight. Sigh. One huge bonus here, no food truck...because they have their own dedicated kitchen (run by Flagship BBQ). Their food was was outstanding. I got a Chicken, Bacon and Chipotle Ranch sandwich w/ a side of bacon mac salad. My wife got a bacon & smoke gouda sandwich. A friend of ours got the smoked chicken & gouda sandwich. Another order had sourdough crostini and brie. Yeah we all love the food. I need to try the wings next time there. All orders are done at the bar (drinks & food). The bar has several stools to chill as you drink as you watch whatever on TV. There's a side room with more TV's, all different sports tonight. There are a handful of tables and high-tops. There's also dart board available. There is also covered outdoor seating available out front. Definitely a place to grab a pint, a bite and watch sports on TV. Nothing fancy and it doesn't need to be. Staff was cool and friendly. It's an odd location, but it's worth it to try and find. Sonoma County / Santa Rosa has many good breweries. I'd add this to the list.

There is a fun patio space with lots of tables and shade out front and plenty of bar seating with space for bar games inside. I ordered some happy hour bites and the Mexican lager. The tab was only $15 during happy hour. I should note they were out of quite a few things and this place didn't have the refinement of many other breweries in the area. We grabbed a table outside. I sipped on the beer, which was pretty good. It took awhile for our food to come. When our tater tots and pretzel arrived they looked good, but after first tastes, it was clear that they were just frozen and reheated items. The pretzel was overly tough and chewy. The nacho cheese certainly came from a can. The tater tots were fine, but probably from a frozen bag and thrown in the fryer. As a brewery, I'd give this place 4 stars. As a brewery and restaurant, it's just a 3.

Our server was very helpful, answering our questions about beer and bringing us a couple of samples before deciding what to order. I asked for my favorite light beer, DayTime, and we decided to share an order of chicken wings, fries, and their P-Town Chop Salad. The beer was as good as I remembered, and the food was well-made and delicious, especially the wings (with Buffalo sauce). They allow dogs, as long as they are well-behaved and on a leash, so our little guy had fun saying hello to a couple of dogs that were sitting nearby in between his breaks from begging for treats from the table. The wings were pretty good with a sweet chili ginger sauce. We also tried their dry-rubbed wings, which were just okay. The nachos had good flavor, but some of the chips got kind of burnt in the broiler. The tri-tip was also a little underwhelming as it was just a bunch of small pieces that didn't have a lot of flavor. Overall, I still liked the flavor of the nachos, but I would get a side of sour cream or something else to go with it. I still really like this place and hope to come back again.
