    BBQ Nachos

First time here and been wanting to try this spot for a while, came for Raiders game (lots and lots of TV's) in which the bartender put on without us having to ask, so props for that! Took a lil bit before we were waited on, place was not busy, drinks were good and we ordered the tri tip bbq nachos and the beef was tender and nachos were very flavorful , the cook was very nice. Bartender asked if we wanted more drinks, I declined but my bf ordered another, unfortunately never came, he apologized, poor bartender had closed the night before and had to open early next day, could tell he was tired, maybe short staffed or sick calls? I don't know what it is, but businesses struggle in this particular building and location. Ample parking. We will be back to try again on hopefully not on an off day.

I can't believe it's taken me this long to update my review of Flagship! I am a fan of all their locations, but I'm at the downtown spot at least a few times a month. First of all, it's the closest to my house and work. Second, they're the only Flagship offering a full bar. Third, they've got a banging happy hour. Fourth, they have all kinds of recurring and special events: trivia, karaoke, brunch, food specials, live music, dance parties, sports parties, and so so sooo much more! And lastly, they've got a really fun staff that make an effort to create a genuine connection with their guests and safe, welcoming environment for everyone.

Fun atmosphere. We had the bbq nachos and wow. They were way better than I expected them to be. I would definitely return.

Went to Anime trivia! Was so much fun, won a flight on a speed round. I also ordered the buffalo wings with ranch. Good place to go for trivia.

Great quality food! All the flavors compliment each other. I love getting their sandwiches on the dutch crunch bread. Everyone is very friendly and the food is ready pretty fast! I usually call in my order for pick up and it's always ready when I get there. The vibe in the place is fun and cozy. I love that there's options to sit inside or outside. The parking is a little tricky, usually I park on the street or the mall parking garage. If you want some quality food you should try Flagship Taproom!

Outdoor area. Many more seats out of view.

Good drinks and high quality sandwiches at a reasonable price. Would thumb this one up as a sports bar. Has a nice outdoor area as well. Expect it to be somewhat loud wherever you are if a game is on as people shout for their favorite teams! I felt that the chicken bacon chipotle ranch sandwich on dutch crutch was well worth it. It was very filling and I felt like it was very high quality. Would recommend. The blueberry pancake stout was also amazing and ... tasted like pancakes with syrup. Wild. Everyone sitting in my group commented that they could smell it from nearby seats. Probably a top three stout that I've ever had. My bill for the sando / stout and tip was about $32. Seems reasonable to me for what I got. Service was very fast too. Next time I'll try a flight!

I left my trophy in my karate mobile and forgot to lock the door but nobody stole my stuff. Truly shows how honorable the community is around here. I wasn't a fan of the QR code for service. Sometimes I needed something and had to find someone to help, but the staff was always nice. As for the food, I started with the fried pickles. They were whole pickles, not slices. Felt like they would've been better as slices, since the whole pickle would slide out of the batter. Got the Hail Mary as neopolatin style and the Bare Knuckles as Detroit style. Both were tasty, but I wish the Hail Mary had more sauce. Tasted a bit dry, but I really enjoyed the charred crust. I ate it all. Not even my expert karate training prepared me for how full I got. This place is located where the Cattleman's used to be, and while Cattleman's is nostalgic, I liked this food better. We started with a frosé. I wish I had the strawberry lemonade blended beverage, but alas, I didn't find out about it until after the frosé had arrived. It was ok and good for the weather, but I didn't like they put peach in it. It was definitely really hard at first, so if we hadn't have been sitting in the sun, it would have been annoying to drink. The fried pickle spears were up next. I love pickles, but my first and only time trying fried pickles was when @alicia threw a little soirée add had them. I decided to try these ones, and they were good, but I think I prefer the chips to the spears for fried pickles. It makes for a more even ratio of breading to pickles. Good fry on these tho. Liked the sauce they came with too. Omg the garlic fries were incredible. Great amount of garlic. Perfect fry shape. The fries almost tasted garlic infused rather than just having garlic sprinkled on top like most garlic fries. Wish they came with a garlic aioli tho. The caesar's, both kale and regular, were yummy. Excellent crispiness of the lettuce. Good amount of dressing. I wish it was more anchovy heavy, but I always think that. I liked the radish, but I do wish they put more pepper on it. The first shishito pepper I had was insanely spicy, and it kind of scared me. I persevered though, and the rest weren't nearly as spicy. I love a shishito pepper and love when they're on the menu. The pizza was yummy. It paired nicely with what we got, just a tiny bit of meat for an otherwise vegetarian girl lunch. Thinner crust if that's what your into. Cheese did slid off a little at the end which was a bit of a bummer. Perfect ambiance outside for a summer day or evening. I loved the fire pit and campfire chairs. great service and our server offered great recs regarding the drinks.

The original brew master became the co-owner when the winery left the beer business in 2003. It was then moved this location in 2004, opening as a brewpub. It's been on my list of places to visit for a while, so my wife, her mom, and I took the opportunity to stop in for a Thursday night dinner on our way to San Francisco from Fort Bragg. The inaugural double IPA (aka Imperial IPA) was made by the current co-owner at a different brewery in 1994. Double means it uses double the hops and malts, and the ABV is quite a bit higher. He then created Pliny the Elder (ABV 8.0%) in 2000, recognized as the most famous DIPA. The track continued, with Pliny the Younger in 2005, a triple IPA (using triple the hops and malts with ABV of 10.25%). This version is available once a year in the spring, since it costs so much money and time to make. With so much malt being used, a large amount of time (and hops) is needed to balance. I've had Pliny the Elder in bottles before, and really liked it: I don't like the hoppy 'piney' taste in my beers, but also recognize that not enough will make the beer too sweet (which I've been facing with a lot my island beers lately). Parking is street only, but there was a lot of it, with the metered parking only requiring payment till 6 pm. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and immediately seated at a table near the bar. As expected, it was quite loud, with after work folks having a good time. We got menus, ordered our food, and then decided what to do about flights. The brewery is also known for their Belgian style and thus offers two different flights. It was my first time, and didn't know how much my wife could help, so decided to order the California Sampler (a selection of 12 different West Coast 5 oz. pours of ales and lagers for $15.45) to start: O.V.L. Stout (Old Vic Loyals) - Irish nitro stout - really beginning to love stouts, and this one was good. Velvet Glow - lager - solid. Ending up buying 6 pack to bring home ($12.99) STS Pils - pilsner. Bought a 6-pack for $12.99. Russian River Porter - Blind Pig IPA - West Coast IPA Happy Hops - Juicy IPA Mosaic Stack - West Coast IPA SimCoe 25 - West Coast IPA Citra Flash Mob - West Coast IPA Mind Circus - Hazy IPA DDH Pliny the Elder - really good. bought two cans at $5.99 each. Pliny the Elder - the original Felt pretty good, so decided to order the Belgian Sampler (9 different for $13.63), Surprisingly, I didn't like it nearly as much (my favorite fruit beer during this trip was the Howzit Punch beer). Petite Robert - table beer Little White Lie - Belgian White Robert - saison Perdition - biere de sonoma Damnation - golden strong ale Mortification - quad Supplication - sour brown ale Intinction - barrel aged pilsner Consecration - sour dark ale In terms of the food, it was solid. The 8 pc chicken wings ($17) were good, and the cheesy garlic bread ($10) was filling. I had the meatball sandwich ($16) and upgraded the fries to a spinach salad (+$4): it was tasty, loved the toasted French bread and marinara sauce, with the meatballs being OK (tasted from frozen)...loved the spinach salad with strawberries and blue cheese. We finished off our meal with a Vinnies (co-owner) sundae: good vanilla ice cream with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and a lot of almond slivers. Payment was at the table, and me being again very pleasantly surprised at how little the flights were (a typical brewpub where they charge $3-$4 per 5 oz, would have cost 4 times as much...though of course I wouldn't have drunk as much either).

My wife and I had just visited Abbey Tavern this past weekend, a premier Scottish pub in the City, and we expected a similar atmosphere. However, the moment we showed up, we were met with great disappointment. The Goose & Fern is honestly a terrible place to watch a sports match: there was only a single TV mounted in the back corner of the restaurant, the TV wasn't particularly large, and the speakers had been turned completely off. What a bust. Although the food was decent, especially the Shepherd's pie -- which came piping hot in a small cast iron skillet, the service was downright dreadful and almost non-existent. We never received waters (or were even asked if we wanted beverages), our table wasn't given enough silverware, we were never checked on during the meal, and we were waiting around for 30 minutes twiddling our thumbs before somebody from our party finally went up to try to pay for the check. In hindsight, a tip was not warranted for the lack of service. Overall, Yelp grossly misled me on The Goose & Fern. This is not a spot I would stop by again to watch a sporting match. If you're in this part of Santa Rosa, do yourself a favor and head over to Dave and Busters down the street where they have a bunch of massive screens, tons of beer options, and service that will far surpass what you're getting here.
