My nephew and I came into Flagships today to grab a drink and some pub grub. We were greeted by the two people working and felt very welcome to be there. The place was empty beside us but it was nice and quiet. They have a really nice selection of beers on tap and a good variety of food choices. They have tv's playing sports and it feels like a place where you could hang out for hours. On this visit, I tried the "Dream of Jupiter" red ale. It wasn't my favorite. A little too hoppy for my taste, but still a good drink to have with food. For food, we ordered the BBQ Nachos with Tri-tip , and some wings. The wings were pretty good with a sweet chili ginger sauce. We also tried their dry-rubbed wings, which were just okay. The nachos had good flavor, but some of the chips got kind of burnt in the broiler. The tri-tip was also a little underwhelming as it was just a bunch of small pieces that didn't have a lot of flavor. Overall, I still liked the flavor of the nachos, but I would get a side of sour cream or something else to go with it. I still really like this place and hope to come back again. read more

Exploring downtown Santa Rosa, I needed an afternoon refresher and found Flagship because of an excellent tap list on Untappd. I was happy to stop in on a quiet afternoon, looks like a fun place on nights and weekends. They have some outdoor seating, which was a bit bright in the afternoon so I sat inside. They have a mostly local tap list of all kinds of beer; there were too many to try so I got two flights while I rested a while. The glassware is super clean, great selection, and reasonable prices. A Tap room in Santa Rosa downtown, right opposite the parking garage. Has a wide selection of tap beers, also has lots of seating space within and outdoors. Servers are attentive. Mostly Self serviced, so you order the beverages at the bar, food is brought to the table, the server gives you a token at the time of the order placing and brings over the food to the table. Tried 3 of their imported tap beers - were nice, refreshing. Chips & salsa were freshly done but tasted okay-okay not too great. Cleanliness is not that great either rather is below average. The place has a casual-cool vibe, good place to hang around during happy hours or even otherwise, in large/small groups or single too. First time here and been wanting to try this spot for a while, came for Raiders game (lots and lots of TV's) in which the bartender put on without us having to ask, so props for that! Took a lil bit before we were waited on, place was not busy, drinks were good and we ordered the tri tip bbq nachos and the beef was tender and nachos were very flavorful , the cook was very nice. Bartender asked if we wanted more drinks, I declined but my bf ordered another, unfortunately never came, he apologized, poor bartender had closed the night before and had to open early next day, could tell he was tired, maybe short staffed or sick calls? I don't know what it is, but businesses struggle in this particular building and location. Ample parking. We will be back to try again on hopefully not on an off day. read more

I can't believe it's taken me this long to update my review of Flagship! I am a fan of all their locations, but I'm at the downtown spot at least a few times a month. First of all, it's the closest to my house and work. Second, they're the only Flagship offering a full bar. Third, they've got a banging happy hour. Fourth, they have all kinds of recurring and special events: trivia, karaoke, brunch, food specials, live music, dance parties, sports parties, and so so sooo much more! I come here with a group for drinks often, sometimes we show up for trivia. The employees are usually alright but a bit distracted. It's about what you'd expect for a taproom, and I'm ok with that. Recently things have been getting significantly worse. I was charged three different amounts for the same drink by the same bartender. When I asked about the differences, they explained that they didn't know what to charge since the POS device didn't have the specific drink as an option. One of the employees was quitting to move out of town so everyone working decided to get drunk and party rather than attend to customers. Food orders weren't bad but also weren't what we ordered. Strangely, when I asked for plates so our group could share the 2lbs of wings we ordered, they said they might not have enough plates for the 6 of us. We came here for lunch and sat outside. There is plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. We decided to split a sandwich. It was the right call as it was quite big. We had the Chipotle Chicken Bacon Ranch that came on Dutch Crunch. I wasn't expecting much since I would think they're more about the beers than the food, but the sandwich was great. My pork tenderloin sandwich was delicious! I have never seen so much pork in one sandwich. It was seasoned perfectly. All of the ingredients make the absolute best combo. They also have a wide selection of beers and cider. The place has lots of TVs playing sports and outdoor seating. Prices are reasonable. Since there are lots of events going on almost every night it can get pretty crowded. The line can be pretty long but to me, it's worth it. We have been here a few times since my first review in 2020. It has remained consistent with that review overall. They have a good, fairly sizeable, rotating beer selection with a good range of styles and types, including various micro/craft beers, "macro" beers, and a few good imports. The roast pork and brie sandwich is overall excellent, with a large portion of very tasty, juicy pork nicely cooked, plus a nice amount of brie and arugula. There's rosemary, which just gets up to the edge of being a bit too much without actually going there. The churrasco tri-tip sandwich would be excellent but for the fact that the chimichurri was far too spicy, overpowering the sandwich and making it very unbalanced. That's too bad, because otherwise it looks great and would be great: a nice amount of juicy, well-cooked trip tip with a thick layer of nice arugula, and everything else just right, and there was a lot of great flavour lurking under the heat of the spice. If I order it again, I'll ask for the chimichurri on the side. For reference, both I and my daughter generally like, and certainly can handle, spicy things and we both found this to be far too spicy for this sandwich. Small side salads are basic but good. I finished my order and my colleague was ordering and the guy told her that they're out of chips, and my colleague wanted to take another look at the menu. The guy literally have an annoyed look and threw his hands up. Dude, chill the f out. We are paying customers and if you wanted us to hurry, maybe you could've given us guidance instead of being a douche. Not like you're doing anything else since there's no one else around to order from you. The only reason why we didn't go elsewhere and left was because we were starving and didn't want to wait any longer to get food, else, we would've left. I forgot how much I missed having someone pour me a beer from a tap and drinking it at a place other than my home! WOW. Thank you Flagship, for a fun patio experience! They've done a great remodel of the old Sprenger's Taproom (RIP). The wooden bar is quite striking. I'm so glad I don't have to drive down to Rohnert Park to enjoy Flagship anymore. They have a nice variety of beers on tap -- it isn't just straight IPAs (although they do have some delicious IPAs on tap!). I appreciated that all of the staff were wearing masks and sanitizing tables after each use. Even though you have to go inside to order, all of the doors and windows are open, so it is well-ventilated. The bathrooms were clean (!!!) and the picnic tables were spaced pretty far apart. It wasn't too crowded on a weekend afternoon. :) OH and they have outdoor heaters. Game changer. read more

went to flagship taproom 3/2/2026, sat at the bar and there was only 1 other person at the bar. the bartender was slow to acknowledge me. got a beer and was going to order food. he never asked if i wanted a menu. i got up and went to the cash register where the menus were, went back to my seat. the menu was stained with food, big no-no! he never asked me if i wanted to order. while drinking my beer and whisky, started to observe the kitchen operations, there was was food all over the floor, the sandwich cutting board was wiped with a kitchen towel between orders, but not sanitized. the entire time i was there the menu laid on the bar, but was never asked if i wanted to to order. some of the food that came out of the turbo vens was burnt, but still served. he didnt use gloves when plating the ready to eat food, all the while trying to multi task bartending and cooking, poorly. he was slow to ask if i wanted another drink, because he was busy cooking food orders cooming in through the printer.when i paid for my drinks, i told him about my experience, he divulged he was the part owner, and asked me to finish up and leave. i drank my whisky and left the full beer behind. it was approximately 8;30 pm, guess he had somewhere else to be, or didnt like my comments, rather strange for a part owner of a restaurant\bar. guaranteeing the fact i will never return. if you like poor service and burnt food, this is the place for you! read more

Didn't like that we had to order food from the inside bar, not easy when you have a dog with you. The beer I ordered was good, don't think you can really mess up a beer. But the four food items we ordered all came out cold. The taste was ok, but nothing to brag about. I think I should've read these two star reviews first before trying this spot out.
