Brussels sprout

I've eaten here before and have been quite satisfied but my meal last night was served lukewarm, bland and strangely the lamb shank was blackish green but was not described as blackened. Unfortunately two of us ordered this meal and were disappointed. Brussels sprouts starter was good. The other strange thing is the bussers were clearing plates before the people were finished.

We always stop her when visiting Healdsburg and never post. The burger, fries and drink are always spot on. The staff's friendly and helpful.

My husband and I stopped in for a casual date and sat in the bar area. Very casual, relaxed atmosphere. Not a lot of patrons this evening. Started off with a martini and glass of red wine from their diverse wine and cocktail list. Presentation was beautiful. The tacos were flavorful all the way around. Two were perfect for my husband's appetite The soup was decent especially with their fresh focaccia bread. Service was just ok. Our server was nice but she seemed rushed and didn't really want to be on that side of the restaurant. Pulled the short straw. We like our casual stop in after church. We'll be back.

Ora King Salmon

Absolutely excellent service! We shared the burrata with the homemade focaccia which was amazing. I had the king salmon with the curry broth which was perfectly sweet and spicy. The bok choy was cooked perfectly. We were able to get a table near the window with excellent views of the vineyard and sunset. Would definitely recommend when in the area!

Beautiful venue with a wonderful winery in the back and plenty of seating with good view. Wonderful service. Tried their carbonara which was great, the highlight was their salmon which was perfectly soft and flavorful.

My husband brought me to this nice, enchanted fancy restaurant for my birthday. Reservations were placed online, upon arrival we were greeted and our tables ready within a 3-5min wait. They have a full bar to your right as soon as you walk in. Plenty of space to enjoy a nice cocktail, or if you're in the mood for a 1on1 more personable setting like we were that evening- we choose the outside patio which had heat warmers to keep us warm and toasty, all the while overlooking an endless bound of Sonoma's County finest winery. Our food was great- oyster appetizers along with the mandatory bread n butter. For the main entrée we helped ourselves to a perfectly cooked filet mignon, partnered with a glass of red wine, season mash n veggies. Our Server and all the staff were very attentive and provided great hospitality. Overall, a satisfied birthday dinner. Came home full, blessed and grateful. Thank you.

Came here after searching for something tasty to eat. Decor here is very nice. You have big booths and bid dining tables. There's also a bar area. We were seated at a booth and our table was completely off. The tilt was basically slanted . We asked for a different table and were seated elsewhere. However instead of them fixing that table they sat someone else there. Strange! We then got our food and it was delicious! What I didn't care about what the server kept disappearing. I ran out of water and no one came to ask if we were ok. Then he came and asked about dessert and then I had the chance to ask for water. Our server sent someone else to give us the water. He seemed lazy! I didn't care for service here but at least food was good .

Came here for brunch today and happy hour last night. How did I not know about this place?? Amazing vineyard views, a mile-long vineyard trail, excellent service, a pool that can be accessed via ResortPass, and more. This might be our new local hangout spot!!

Tuesday in Sonoma County wine country, and we were looking for a more quiet and upscale Happy Hour. Needed a respite from the crowds. Well, we certainly found the perfect place and definitely off the "tourist" beaten path. John Ash & Co. Yelp was instrumental in locating this elegant and classy HH spot. Plus, seeing and reading a review by Yelp CM, Mary V., Healdsburg (speaking of classy), sealed the deal even though our destination was only for HH and not dinner about which she had written. However, after our visit, a return for dinner service would definitely be considered! Located in a more remote area of Santa Rosa, with such beautiful landscaping (including wine country's favorite...grape vines!), it was stunning from the minute you entered the grounds for sure! This is a resort. John Ash & Co is the trendy restaurant providing food for Vitners Resort (which includes a hotel and spa). The Front Room Bar and Lounge is in the restaurant where 3 of us enjoyed a serene and top-notch happy hour. (Served from 3 p.m., until 5 p.m., daily) A hostess greeted us and directed us to the very close by bar. First impressions...low key, casual elegance! And doing a nice business for 330 p.m., I might add. Loved the low lights, which contributed to the charming ambiance. And the roomy, comfortable chairs were perfect. (Lest I forget...a fireplace too. Think winter:) This is exactly what we wanted and needed. The well-dressed bartender came to our table just as we were sitting. He provided us with HH and regular menus. Took water orders and then gave us time to relax and peruse it all. During the course of an hour and more, we had two rounds of drinks and some fabulous HH appetizers. HH menu and photos incuded. If we had not been going to dinner elsewhere, we all agreed that dinner here would have been incredible. Great food, views, inside outside dining...what's not to like! This was one of Santa Rosa's first restaurants to bring the farm to table, local, and seasonal ingredients experience to the dining plate. Many of the herbs are grown on-site. So you would be in store for a memorable brunch, lunch, and dinner experience. Sadly, John Ash, Renaissance man for sure, passed away in March of 2023. The company has been sold to Jackson Family Wines, I believe. It looks like to me they are taking it in the right direction. And I expect many more good things to come. Free Wifi, dog friendly, and great customer service. How can you go wrong! See you at dinner... right? Cheers!

On the wall was a chalkboard with the list of local farmers and vendors that they used to supply their restaurant. I loved how fresh and flavorful all the food was, but I loved their collaboration with small local business owners to provide them with things like eggs and dairy. I had an omelette with spinach, caramelized, tomatoes, chicken sausage, and goat cheese. This was one of the most delicious bites I've had at a breakfast spot in a long time. We also shared an order of beignets that came with some fresh apple butter, which was to die for! It felt like taking a bit off fall weather if that makes sense. My boyfriend had some biscuits and country gravy with a side of sausage and fried eggs. He loved everything that he ate as well. He also had a bloody Mary, which was made with Soju. The flavor and quality was top notch and you hardly missed the vodka from the drink. Our server was very friendly, and he offered some insight into the quality of the Soju and the vendors that they work with. I just really loved the care that this restaurant put into not only service but the food that they're producing.

Firstly, thank you to Americana for seating us. We came in just before 3 pm, and we didn't realize…read morethat they were about to close. We ordered huevos rancheros with orange juice, and a caprese sandwich with a side of soup. The eggs were tasty, but it wasn't very hearty. I was hungry again within an hour. Lots of colorful sauce arranged around the dish, most of it wasted. The sandwich had the aoli, even though The Wife asked for it without. The sandwich was hearty, but kind of a mess. Assembled like someone wanted to leave. The space is attractive, with interesting local art on the walls, but frankly the prices ($20 for the eggs, $27 for the sandwich, $7 for a small juice) were out of line.

Had plenty of staff check in on me and make sure everything was going well. Pastrami taco was really good! Surprised to see it paired with kimchi but a pleasant surprise and gave me a bit of kbbq vibes. I'm Korean so I think the kimchi could have more bite or be more fermented but it's totally fine. Korean chicken thigh taco also super good. I think it'd be better to have this taco and the pastrami one switch their veggies but the usual black eyed pea slaw with the chicken was great too. Spicy crema could be spicier but that's personal preference and still went with the chicken great. I think the pastrami taco came out on top just by a smidge so I even ordered one more before grabbing my bill. This last taco came a little slower than the others but I wasn't in a rush. Definitely recommend asking for more slaw and kimchi to go with your tacos and make them loadeddd! I'll try to be back to try their larger plates!

First time to Jimmy's and really enjoyed my lunch, as did everyone in my group!…read more I had a BLT -- the bacon was cooked PERFECTLY for a sandwich, and the L and T were fresh (tell me you're in California without telling me you're in California...). Another person had a veggie omelet, a person who was way over 12 got the under 12 breakfast (bacon, eggs, French toast -- just a smaller portion of each). In the lunch category, one friend got the veggie burger and another got the club sandwich. Everyone was happy with what they ordered! A couple of tips: Order some onion rings. They're super thin, not greasy at all, and just delicious! Also, if you order french fries, order them on the well done side. I had sweet potato fries with my sandwich, and I'd suggest regular fries the next time. Not that the sweet fries weren't good, I just thought the regular ones were better! Lovely server who tag teamed with the owner on our service. We were glad we went on the slightly earlier side, because within about 20 minutes the place filled up! There's a bar and two televisions on the wall for folks who like to come watch sports. I don't usually like that in a bar or restaurant, but it's olympics season and it was really fun to be watching some of that with a group. Look forward to going back next time I'm in Windsor!
