If you are looking for subpar food at an outrageous price - then this is your place. My family was so excited to go here. Unfortunately, we were so incredibly disappointed. There is no way we should still be leaving hungry after spending $200 on dinner. A cup of soup was $14, the $32 so called LARGE portion Gnocchi was maybe 7 bites, and how can we forget this absolute disgrace of a 'meal' that my husband ordered for $20. We try to support local as much as we can, but this is a place I regret spending my money at even if the staff was nice.

Loved this restaurant! The backstory is fun, the vibe is warm, the bathrooms are wallpapered in old sewing patterns, and the food surpassed my expectations. My group shared the burrata, pear salad, steak and the cod. Sharing makes it hard to take pics but they all looked and tasted excellent! The bread pudding dessert also hit the spot. Definitely would go back!

A cute farm to table place in Santa Rosa. Had to wait about 30-40 min for a group on a Saturday night so would recommend a reservation especially for larger groups. They have a frequently changing menu, with limited vegetarian or pescatarian options. We ended up getting the scallops, which I think were too salty, but otherwise had interesting textures. Focaccia was warm, crisp on the outside, and quite flavorful and nicely chewy and fluffy on the inside, so I'd recommend that. Service was good at refilling water but in general was quite slow with bringing out food and the check. Cute space, it is relatively loud inside, but we did not feel rushed throughout the meal. I'd say definitely on the pricey side, especially for small portions. I wouldn't return if I were in the area but maybe with a different menu we'd have a better experience.

I came here for Valentine's Day dinner and was worried this restaurant was all hype but was glad to report it was amazing! The staff was very attentive even though they were extremely busy. We started with the burrata and house made focaccia, both tasted so fresh melted in your mouth. For entrees we got the lamb shoulder with polenta and the butternut squash gnocchi pasta dish. WOW. The lamb was so delicious and the pasta complimented it perfectly. As you can tell by the pictures it was so good we couldn't wait to way it. Definitely coming back next time we are in town.

An absolutely delightful dinner in the garden! Everything was extremely fresh and very tasty. I appreciated the N.A. drink selection as well (I loved Ellie's N.A. cider). Highlights were the kale and artichoke dip, oysters, and halibut, which had a unique corn element that was to die for. The fish was perfectly crisp on the outside and very tender and flavorful. We also loved the fries, focaccia, and chicken. Don't skip the ice cream sundae! The garden is also dog friendly, and there were several cute pups. Wonderful ambiance and great service!

Excellent meal, all three of us happy with our entrees. Nice and competent waitress. Great location because it's in downtown Santa Rosa, but on a hidden side street with very little car traffic and noise of a Main Street.

We made a dinner reservation for 6:30pm on a Friday. It's a small place and seemed pretty full when we arrived, so I'd definitely recommend reserving online beforehand. The interior is cozy and cute, nice and warm compared to the chill outdoors. We were greeted upon entry and service continued to be friendly and attentive throughout the meal. My boyfriend ordered the Scottish steelhead and I ordered the butternut squash gnocchi. We also ordered the focaccia to start, which was very tasty! The gnocchi had a pretty mild flavor and I wouldn't have minded a little bit of salt, but overall it was pretty good. I enjoyed the pieces of squash and the hazelnuts. The steelhead was tasty as well, though my boyfriend noted the portion was a bit smaller than expected. Overall this was a nice dining experience and a cute date night spot. The food also came out quite quickly which was a plus.

Reservations are recommended, though it can take some walk-ins. I chose to sit at their counter, which is a large horseshoe at the center of the restaurant. They have expanded to a nice outdoor garden area, as well. I miss the breakfast service, though now that they are dinner only, I'm going to come by more often. Love the Sunday dinners. I started with 2 oysters on the half shell, which were light & delicate. Next I had the kake & mushroom puff pastry. For the entree I chose the 1/2 chicken over farro. All was prepared beautifully.

Spinster Sisters did not disappoint! We had a cozy corner table by the window on a quiet evening with only three tables occupied. The staff acknowledged our anniversary reservation, which was a nice touch. Drinks * Bizarro Aperitif (Aperol-style bitter on the rocks) - $12 * Amista Blanc de Blanc Chardonnay - $16 * Italian Red - $16 * County Line Pinot Noir - $16 Appetizers Local oysters ($4 each) - Perfect small bites, clean ocean taste, served on ice with mignonette. Beautiful scalloped shells from Washington. Small Plates * Smoked Trout ($18) - Generous portion served on beets with endive. Delicious, though needed a pinch of salt. * Spicy Heirloom Tomato Soup ($15) - Excellent kick, fresh sweet tomatoes with focaccia croutons. Perfect portion. Entrees * Chicken and Figs ($35) - Mary's roasted chicken with creamy polenta, figs and Swiss chard. Good chicken, though the polenta was heavy with cream. * Local Black Cod ($40) - Outstanding. One of my top 5 dishes ever. Served with chicories, Jerusalem artichoke, and green olive tapenade. The combination of bitter greens, salty umami tapenade, and perfectly pan-fried sweet cod was unforgettable. Dessert Bittersweet Chocolate Torte - Rich chocolate with vanilla mousseline and wafer biscuit. Excellent, though would have benefited from a finishing salt like Maldon. Service Notes Service was prompt but rushed. Courses arrived immediately after clearing the previous one with no breathing room. The server brought the anniversary dessert with a candle while I was in the restroom. Water wasn't consistently refilled. The server was kind but seemed shy and eager to close up for the evening. Value Total: $191.40 before tip. I suppose the pricing feels on par for Santa Rosa in 2025, but wow. Definitely the most we have ever paid for an anniversary meal. Overall A memorable anniversary meal with exceptional food, particularly the black cod. The rushed service detracted from an otherwise excellent experience, but gave us something to talk about!

Great service, ambiance and food. I would classify the food as comfort food - hearty and good portions. Many of the dishes looked amazing and tasted good. The food is solid and the presentation great.

Is the noise level still outrageous or have they done anything there to fix the acoustics?

it was moderately busy when we arrived, but not crazy loud. the noise level did taper down to a much more palatable ambience when the place was half-empty, it was easier to relax. too bad these modern joints don't bother with noise abatement…

Do they serve wine by the glass?

After receiving my salad and beverage though, service all but disappeared. After 25-ish minutes and finally realizing I hadn't seen my server in a while, I managed to flag down another member of the staff (not my server) who kindly offered to check for me, and who returned with the disappointing news that no such item had ever been ordered. Spoiler alert: it had definitely been ordered :( Had anyone at all checked in on me after the salad arrived, I would have inquired about the main I was waiting for and we would have figured this all out relatively quickly - and I probably would have left a more satisfied customer. (I should also note that the salad and the drink were both good, so I was looking forward to the rest.) Instead, I just asked for the check - and I left still hungry and rather disappointed. To add to the weirdness, the server gave me someone else's check at first, with many more items ordered than my drink and salad. I mention it to help characterize the unfortunate misfire vibe. Respect to the servers, I know they're working hard and there are a ton of things that contribute to situations like this - maybe an off night, maybe a gap in training, maybe unexpectedly slammed... maybe something else entirely - but regardless, Yelp is for reviewing one's experience with a business. My experience at Willi's was a bummer, and I am not sure I'll bother going back.

The ambiance is upscale, chic and inviting. Seating is ample - 4th St Cellars offers a two story seating area, bar area seating and beautiful outdoor patio seating as well. For our visit we sat next to the fire place and shared a bottle of Pinot Noir. The employees were both welcoming and accommodating. They offered us a cheese plate to share which was a nice touch, we enjoyed the light snacks with our Pinot. At first the wine bar was fairly empty but before we knew it there was a full house. They had live music which we really enjoyed - the music wasn't so loud it over powered our conversation. Overall I'd give 4th St Cellars a 9/10. My only reservation and slight critique was the odd experience we had when selecting our wine. We asked for tastings of the Pinot and Cabernet before selecting our bottle. We were bought one tasting of each for my friend and I to share - meaning we shared our glass. While we didn't mind sharing germs I found it a bit odd lol. Our thought was we weren't clear in how we wanted to try the wine. Either way it wasn't a make or break for us and we still enjoyed our visit. 4th street cellars is a great stop for date night or a girls night! We will be returning.

They had exactly zero Rhone varietals and just one or two Pinots when we visited last week. The red wines were mostly big jammy Bordeaux varietals and blends from conglomerates like Jackson. I'm guessing one distributor was supplying all the wine. Given the proximity to Sonoma wineries, this is criminal and a real head-scratcher. They need a better wine curator - heck, I could whip up a vastly superior wine list in half an hour. Our server, while extremely friendly and attentive, was not well versed in wine. He proudly brought a blend to our table that wasn't on the menu, stating "I don't know what this is a blend of, it's new" as he looked at the back label. I asked to see the bottle, and in black and white on the back label it clearly listed the varietals of the blend. It was another pseudo-Bordeaux blend and was very jammy.
