Chris is the best bartender! He was very knowledgeable about the wine and was very kind, will definitely be coming back :)

We stopped at Crush Lounge for a late lunch, and it was totally perfect for our needs…read more The service was prompt and friendly. I ordered a BLT sandwich with French fries. And it was so good- lots of crispy bacon and fresh tomato and lettuce. The bun was fresh and soft but held up well (read not soggy) against the tomato and mayo. My husband opted for the soft pretzel, was was piping hot upon arrival and came with two sauces- a mustard sauce and a cheese sauce. We finished it all. The sandwich was so large, I took half back to our room to eat for later. Crush Lounge also has a small bowling alley with several lanes. We didn't get to try it as it was reserved for an event, but this is such a cool feature of the property. This is a solid spot for a quick bite to eat or for drinks when staying at the Meritage.

Reserved a lane at Crush Lounge for my family on Tock since lately my son has been obsessed with…read morebowling. This was his first "real" bowling experience outside of using small, kiddie bowling sets or paper cups. They had 3 (out of 5 or 6?) working lanes and we go there right at opening so we could pick our lane. We made a reservation on Tock and when we arrived they said they were still "setting up". Not sure what that meant, but we waited about 15 minutes while 4-5 people stood behind the bar. They finally let us downstairs to the alleys where we were able to get our bowling shoes and put in a food order. The food selection was not bad, but after leaving, I realized I ordered two kid menu items which come with a drink, entree, and ice cream...but they gave us the entrees and not the drinks or ice cream. When the orders came out, they had also forgotten on of the entrees as well. Good thing I noticed the missing burger, but wompwomp on missing the additional kid meal items. Make sure you check your orders!! The spicy chicken sandwich and the buffalo wings were super slathered in sauce and very salty. The kids burger was burnt and my toddler didn't touch it. The fries and quesadilla were really good though! The kids had a fun time with the bowling experience - they had kid friendly items like a ramp for the ball and bumpers..plus some 7 lbs balls that my 3-year old was able to manage lol. Overall ok experience and a nice thing to do with the family.

My husband and I came to Gualala for a relaxing getaway before our first baby is born. We decided…read moreto make a dinner reservation at the lodge and boy, are we glad we did!! Food was incredible, service was exceptional, ambiance was unforgettable. We loved it so much that we wanted to stop by the breakfast bar on our way out of town. Coffee and food did not disappoint!! We booked the hotel for 3 nights for my wife birthday with calm, relaxing and tranquility in mind. At $900 a night we were expecting something different. We booked on booking.com and the photos are very deceiving. The room was actually pretty small and no fire place when it shows on every single photos when we chose the room. First night we arrived fairly late driving from the South Bay, we arrived to a bedroom a lot smaller than expected and baby screams throughout the night. A wedding was booked that weekend unfortunately for us so no calm and quiet and lot of people on the property- maybe privatizing the hotel for a wedding will be great for the guest that are trying to make it restful The price on the property and around are just gauged to the max $300+ for a very basic massage . Overpriced overhyped, when Bay Area money spoiled a beautiful place...

Sat in the bar near the window where there was a great view of the TV and outside with great sunlight. Ordered happy hour sparkling wine, which was delicious, along with scallop dumplings. Pretty much always enjoy Starks Steaks/Seafood (for HH & full-service dining); often bring visitors to Bird&Bottle and Bravas; also a fan of Augie's French and Grossmans. I've been to Willi's WB in SR a few times over the years, but doubt I'll return. Food rating: overall 3 out of 5: I had the calamari. Way too much sweet sticky sauce. Friends in group selected from the Happy Hour menu. Everything was fine, but the offerings were quite limited and un-interesting. But it was the standout "guest-experience" that killed it for us. Service was rude. Hard stop. Our waiter was hard to flag down, and when we got his attention, his demeanor was abrupt and not at all friendly nor warm. I even got a few eye rolls directed at me. Very poor form, Emilio S! We still tipped @ 20%, b/c that's what we do. But it sure wasn't deserved
