I stopped by for a beer around 7:30 while waiting for my laundry. As I walked in, I noticed something written in chalk on the board. The atmosphere felt a bit off, though it might have just been me. The crowd was a mix of Latinos and older White folks, and the wait staff didn't seem very welcoming. It's a typical dive bar, hidden in a shopping center. It wasn't horribly busy but there seemed to be quite a few regulars. The seats are worn and some had rips, the tables were wobbly, typical divey feel. They have 2 pool tables as well as darts. Quite a big bar. Plenty of tables we were able to sit back in the corner and chat. They have free popcorn, they also sell snacks behind the bar. I got beef jerky and habanero almonds. My drink was strong and I was happy. My daughter lives close to here and has been here a few times. If you're into the divey feel definitely check this place out. Yikes. Went in for free pool Sundays for our second time, played some darts with no problems, put our names on the board for pool. Only...45 minutes later there's still no table open. Fine, it's a busy night, we think--and play some board games. Some random guy starts yelling how everyone knows he owns the table, we have to play him first. Both our names were on the board together, we played a game together the previous week with no issue. He was playing multiple games in a row by himself, and we were trying to play a quick game as beginners. He got in our face and threatened us with physical violence for no reason, and nobody stepped in, so that was fun. Drinks were tasty at least. Don't expect security/safety, though. read more

Its easy to miss this place. You really have to look hard to find it. And if you are looking *that* hard to find *this* place, you are likely involved in one of two scenarios: either you have a problem, or you're just trying to find trouble. And depending on which scenario you find yourself in, this is suburban wine-o culture at its worst... or best. Located between vacant retail spaces at the back of a lonely, desolate strip mall in the northeast suburbs of Santa Rosa, you'll know you've reached the bleak, depressing dead end of barfly Judgment Day well before you set foot inside. Park out front at the well-lit grocery store, whistle Hello Dolly! while dancing and skipping, do whatever you have to do, but if you are determined to go here, you will inevitably have to round the corner of the walkway leading down a low-lit path to the wayward, mostly abandoned, left side of the strip mall. A riveted silver vinyl front door, a cabinet sign hanging from the rafters above a lonely covered arcade walkway, a collection of dented metal folding chairs strewn around the front -- these are all red flags. This place is begging you not to enter. You will hear echoes in your head as you near the front door. Its almost as if the place itself is warning you in stinky, breathy mumblings... "PLEASE DON'T *cough* COME IN HERE. *snort* *burp* IT'LL SUCK THE LIFE OUTTA YUHHHHHhhh...." The warning would have helped had my compadres not forced me in. You get inside.... Oh no. :| Its exactly as you pictured. Five or six stinky drunkies slumped over bourbons at a dimly-lit counter being served by a stinky drunky barkeep. ok, so that's a pretty decent juke box in the middle of the room, and the right side of the sticky deserted room, a little brighter, bathed in blue fluorescent, has two pool tables, a dart board, and a high cocktail table. The table is soon occupied by four glass tumblers of tequila, compliments of our waiter from earlier that evening at Old Mexico Restaurant down the street. What's he doing here? I'm not sure how I mustered the sagacity to refuse the tumblers given the condition I was in, but I somehow refrained. This was *after* we had just come from Old Mexico where we sucked down a 64 oz. fish bowl plus some extra margaritas for good measure. One of my friends asked if I was gonna harf. I was gonna, yes, so I went into the bathroom and harfed six times. Don't use the bathroom here unless you just don't care if other "patrons" walk in on you doing your business, because there are no locks on the bathroom doors...and there's really barely a bathroom door. You will just get crunked out in this joint, and not really in a good way.... read more

This is one of the most wonderful neighborhood bars. All of the bartenders are kind, friendly and generous in their pours. Bartenders Julie, Greg, Tommy, Mike and Suzi are all lovely lovely people. I have made many good friends at this bar and recommend it to everyone who wants a nice enjoyable experience over cocktails. I have been to Fiorino's Lounge twice and both times were excellent. It is a great local neighborhood bar. It is the perfect spot to hang with either a buddy or two, or even to take a special-friend out for a good time. I am definitely on the younger side when it comes to the average age for patrons. I am 22. Most people at this bar tend to be in the late 30s to early 50s. I don't mind the older crowd though. They are usually more interesting than people my age. Prices are standard for the area, and the drinks are good. (Besides the beer I've ordered here, I've had a whiskey sour and a white Russian, and they both were well made). The only "not-bad-but-different" thing I could say about Fiorino's is that the music choice is pretty random. It goes from Led Zeppelin to Kanye West to Aerosmith. Overall, I highly recommend this bar and will continue to come back. read more

Hell yeah the Big F haha. One of the best bars in town in my opinion and DEFINITELY the best bar in Rincon Valley. A great place to start and end a weekend night. They always have 3 craft beers on tap and do a great job of serving customers (don't have to wave your fist in the air). Sometimes I'll find myself in downtown santa rosa wanting nothing more than to take a cab back to fiorinos for a racer 5, shot of tequila, and a good game of dice. read more

So I don't usually do bars but my wife was shopping next door at Oliver's and the game was on. I decided to drop in and have a beer while she was shopping with the kids. When I walked in it was a little dark till my eyes adjusted .At first I almost turned around and walked out. But seeing the game on a huge flat screen high-definition made me stay put.The bartender was really cool the environment was chill. I was able to watch the end of the game, have a beer. When I was done I was just in time to load the groceries into the car. I probably won't go back there again because I don't drink much but I would definitely recommend it to one of my buddies. read more

Read the above reviews, but I actually really dig this place, especially given the quality of entertainment in Santa Rosa. I really dig dive bars, and this one seems to hit all the notes just right. The drinks are extremely cheap (Lagunitas + Stella + a Guiness = $11), the layout is perfect, with a couple of nooks and crannies with some of the most comfortable seating I've found anywhere, and the crowd is very friendly - mostly regulars between 21 - 30. The decor is standard dive bar with a touch of 1880s French class - you can tell that at one point, the place was a little more upscale, and now us dive drunks get to reap the benefits. This is also the only dive bar where I've actually seen people really dance - yes there's just enough room, and it was hilarious watching one kid breakdance to heavy metal. The fact that it's kinda in an abandoned part of the mall actually works to it's advantage - there's plenty of room outside to be loud and obnoxious with no police action, unlike spots like the Round Robin or Toad in the Hole. Plus, they have plenty of space for a smoking area, and stick out a TV and chairs for us future cancer victims. But the best part is the staff - they're hella funny and will go out of their way to get to know you if they don't recognize you. I've never felt as welcome and comfortable walking into a new place as I did there. Instantly made me feel like a regular on my first visit - which is rare for a single guy walking into a new bar of any sort. I note that one of the other reviewers mentioned that the locks on the bathroom doors were broken - that's no longer the case, and I think they've really cleaned up their act since 2007 - seems like the layout is totally different than what he's described. Yes, it is hard to find, and you're gonna wonder wtf you're doing there (facing Olivers, head to the left and down the corridor - it will be on your right), but once you get in, totally worth a bit of searching. It is a fun place to have a cocktail or beer/wine after work. Susie is a wonderful bartender. The service is quick and if you drink mixed drinks you will surely be satisfied. Its a great dive bar. They don't serve food, with the exception of chips behind the bar. You can always stop at Olivers on the way home for good take home food. :) read more
