UPDATE: I was told 12 days ago by corporate that I would get a refund from the owner in 3-5 business days. I am not even remotely surprised I still have not gotten it as I see in the reviews he's TERRIBLE to customers and it was not just me. Just sent a follow up email to corporate... To Be Continued... I live on the West side of town and typically pick up from THIS location after work. HOWEVER, I placed an order for pick up at Callistoga Road. because I had plans on that side of town. My kid got sick, we cancelled our plans, so I called and canceled it long before I was due to pick it up (AT the Callistoga Rd. location). I got charged anyway and I have called 3 times since 1/3 to find out how we could resolve it. Today the owner called me and apparently he also owns the one on W. College. He tries to tell me that it was delivered to my house. I told him no, why would the Callistoga Road location deliver to Coffey Park. He then says, well it came from W. College... But... W. College doesn't have delivery... ??? We will not be buying anymore food from EITHER store. Waiting to see if I can get it resolved higher up. Wish me luck! read more

The crew over at papa Murphy's on Calistoga are a delight. Daniel in particular is exceptionally patient and polite. I often prefer phone service vs online and these guys never disappoint. Exceptional customer service every time. I lived in chicago and on the east coast-d at i I'm picky about pizza. I was overwhelmingly pleased at the NY style cheese. It was perfect and delicious. I can't say enough good things about these guys. My only upset is that I can't customize tip on the card so I can show the appreciation they deserve. read more

I've used this store for years, but on April 11, 2024 I ordered a pizza for lunch online when the store opened at 11:30 (even used a loyalty discount, that's how much of their pizza I buy). I drove down as normal but the store was closed. I could see through the window that non of the food prep had been done, so no one had been there that morning. I went home and requested a refund online. At 2:48 I received a call (went to voicemail) from a very contrite employee explaining that the manager had not shown up that day and he had my pizza ready. As I got the message hours later I did not go down to pick up the pizza. I receive an email saying that they contacted the store and my refund should be forthcoming. A week later and no rebate. I send back to corporate and they say they'll request again. Another week and they say they'll kick it up to the district level, and if I don't hear back in 3 days they'll cut a check. No discount, so I just requested the check. I don't doubt I'll get the refund through corporate, but there's no reason why it had to go this long. Mistakes happen. If you own up to them you can be forgiven. But Calistoga took an order with no one in the store and ghosted me on the rebate. Never going to this branch again, and if I find out the College store is owned by the same people I may stop buying Papa Murphy's altogether. read more

Papa Murphy's is one of those old school places where you can take it and bake it and have it fresh whenever you are ready for it. However the ingredient quality and the price are starting to separate a little further as the years go by. I would recommend getting something on a special. This particular Papa Murphy's seems to always have a very long wait so you would have to order a head. The wait time does not make much sense to me which is why I can't give it five stars because there is no baking in preparing one of their pizzas so it's hard for me to comprehend a 40-minute wait time. read more

I grew up eating Papa Murphy's at least once a week and always loved it and this location didn't disappoint. I haven't had it in years until tonight when my stomach was craving pizza but my bank account said noooo, and there comes in Papa Murphy's. Ordered from DoorDash and a large Gourmet vegetarian w/tip ended up being $18 (I do have a dash pass so I i get free delivery) and it was just as i remember it. My only complaint would be the zucchini were sliced a bit thick, however it was still delicious. read more

Online ordering is very easy. Pick up is easy-pizzas are made and placed on a rack. I can literally walk in see my name and pick up my pizza and leave in about 1 min. Which is nice to not have customers hanging out inside waiting. My husband likes things added to his pizza and they always get his order correct. Pizza is okay - nothing fancy. Always have been on time - when they say 10 min it's always been ready. Staff is friendly and from what I've seen they have been taking extra precautions in this time of Covid. read more

Order it to go and pick up yourself or have it delivered. Don't deal with the people that work there! I'm not sure what's going on, maybe his business is tanking (hopefully not because I like the pizza there), but my friend and I went in to get a pizza to go and we figured we would go to the pet store nearby and then come back, but the girl started making it in front of us so we stayed. My friend and I were trying to split/pay cash but the way it worked out (or didn't) I was going to have to use a $50 bill. The girl behind the counter said she would have to give me "a LOT of $1"- almost all ones in change and my change was $33.00. I don't know about you, but I can't fit 33 ones in my wallet nor do I want to. So instead of voiding it and re-ringing it and me using a credit card (which I mentioned twice at least) to her and "Tim" who must be the franchise owner and neither of them acknowledged what I said. All she said to "Tim" was "she gave me a $50 bill". He looked annoyed, and without a word reached under and got another money bag out that looked like it was all fives and ones and counted back my change to me- no smile, no thanks, enjoy your pizza, come again... He just walked off and was very put out. We had to wait for our pizza and now it was completely awkward and I looked towards the back to see what he was doing and it looked like he was weighing balls of pizza dough. Then the girl making our pizza kept staring at me because she saw I was watching him and no one there was happy. I met somebody that used to work there and they said that all he allows them to have for change is $50 every day which obviously is not enough! I believe that's all he probably had in the other bag and that was probably for the next day. If he is hurting, I am sorry, but have some Customer Service skills! Say I understand, no worries, thank you, enjoy your pizza, come back again... It was all silence and negativity and acting like you are completely putting them out. Again, would you want $33 in $1 for change? I will never go in and order again I'm going to go back to home delivery which you have to do before 6 PM or you are out of luck. We've always had great experiences getting take and bake pizzas from this location. For Halloween this year, we ordered, and during pickup the other customers were truly awful to the staff. Our only feedback would be making sure staff are supported during peak times/holidays, and that they have management support when dealing with disrespectful customers. And if you were someone yelling at the staff yesterday, I hope you take a good hard look at yourself today. I've been a loyal PM customer for years with most of my purchases at the Calistoga Road location. The service at that store has declined dramatically over the last year, however. Time after time they can't answer the phone. Time after time the pizza is not ready at the time it was promised. Added to that pattern are 'out of' explanations....a topping, cheese or a particular size of crust. Frequently there is only one, perhaps two, newbie teenagers working in the counter while orders pile up and customers wait. And wait. And wait some more. This store is failing its customers in some very basic ways. The manager at this location needs to take action. He needs to hire, train and retain an adequate workforce so that his business can provide basic services. If he cannot, he should move on. I am contacting PM Corporate with similar comments. We keep trying to give them another chance, because we really do like Papa Murphy's. When done correctly, the food is good and the value is there. But they continue to have untrained, uncaring staff with VERY poor management oversight. Last night, my wife ordered from them. Took forever for them to make it. Because my wife is on crutches, she pulled up and asked them to help her with it to her car (literally 10 feet out the front door. Was met with an attitude. They brought the pizza out and it was almost ready to come out of the wrapping. Because she didn't put it in the car herself, she got all the way home before we realized they have given us another customer's pizza. While the East Bay is full of a plethora of vegan pizza joints, Santa Rosa is - sadly - a bit lacking. Seeing as Xtreme Pizza's soy cheese pizza has milk in it, and Slice of Life is all the way in Sebastopol, it leaves me somewhat S.O.L. when I've got a hankering for some. Lucky for me, there's Papa Murphy's. This one is right down the street, and I can stop in and pick up a plain, pre-made crust for $3.99 (the price is the same across all sizes), head over to Safeway for the fixings, and be eating my fresh, hot, homemade vegan pizza from the comfort of my own home within the hour. Now you might be asking why I can't just make my own crust? Well, that's time-consuming, and I still haven't found THE recipe for pizza crust. Tastes better than 90% of eat-in pizzerias here in Sonoma county. Also bought the chicken Cesar salad. Was crispy fresh. The plastic envelope of dressing was a little gummy, but I give props after reading the ingredient list. It has no BHA, BHT or other chemicals that no one can pronounce. I'm worried this place is about to shut down. The last two pizzas I ordered there, in person, were on a thick doughy crust, which I don't like, tho I had asked for the thin Delite crust. The second time I ordered I specifically emphasized I wanted the Delite crust or "whatever is your thinnest crust." I really made a point of that and the man who took my order was pleasant about it. Again I got the doughy crust. Their flatscreen menu board has been dark the last two times I've gone in there, so there is no menu posted. I asked about that and the worker said oh yeah it's toast, doesn't work anymore. I asked to see a printed menu instead because I thought of ordering something other than my usual. No, no printed menu. If you had never been in there before you would have no idea what the pizza choices are. The worker was nice enough but looks like I won't be going back if they can't make what I want. Ironic that two other restaurants in this shopping center have gone out of business just in the last month, including a Dunkin that was only about 3 years old. While waiting for my order, I could see how hard he worked and how diligent he is with all the customers. He truly cares about his customers and doing a great job. I love Papa Murphy's, but seriously this one is the best! They are fast and friendly, plus they accept expired coupons! They are really nice about it too! I love using them for parties. This was our first time getting a take out pizza from this place. It quite good. Of course our home oven will never bake a pizza as well as a professional pizza oven but it was good. We had a family size 1/2 meat 1/2 veggie - it was the perfect amount to feed the 5 of us - we made our own salad. We used to really love this location, and went on a regular basis. Now I would urge you to pick another location or even CHAIN if possible. My husband went in to make our usual order, but forgot his wallet. He immediately called me, asked me to call the store, and pay them over the phone. I immediately called and was informed they don't take payments over the phone. I then asked if my husband was there, explaining we already had pizzas being made. They said he wasn't there - maybe I had the wrong location. Nope. He was standing there. Very rude. Very shady. I am shocked these people would rather throw away the pizzas we ordered rather than find a way to take our debt/credit card payment. As business owners we know a credit card can be processed over the phone. It can. It may not be their normal procedure, but something could have been done. Now are are hungry, unhappy, and shocked that Papa Murphy's seems to be the only pizza chain in town who cannot take payments over the phone. FAIL. read more
