Family special tonight 18 inch with 5 toppings for 27.50 after tax not including tip

Wednesday night is the family special and does what most businesses in the area just doesn't and that's care about the local families who can't afford the boogie prices or the $40 round table pizza. When they close they give away the leftover pizza too the don't just trash it like most places. The staff is usually younger men all working at a break neck pace to serve everyone quickly. A little kindness to them goes a long way. The place is loud and has seating booths along the wall and a couple tables outside. I don't have pics of my past pizzas from here cause they get eaten too fast. Next time I'll try to remember ;) Having eaten at all the mombos locations I can confidently say the Sebastopol one makes the best pies.

The pizza is NY style, crust is *awesome*! Sauce amazing and choices are a great variety. Staff is usually great and super accommodating. They have plenty of HUGE slices in the window and heat it up upon request. It's your basic pizzeria table vibe not like a sit down restaurant- more for a quick bite. They have rewards points also for regular customers which we LOVE. Let me just add their RANCH is to die for! They add dill to it for that amazing unique flavor. Shout out to JOE who heard I liked the ricotta and piped some fresh onto my za! Thanks bro! Go here, or to one of their locations, you won't be disappointed.

They understood the assignment!!!! Thank you for helping my sister feel loved when we're far away!

Been here where we go visit my sister and it never fails! So yummy I called today to make a special request to say happy birthday to my sister since we're far away and they understood the assignment. They loved it. Thanks

What?? No review?? I've been coming here FOR-EVER! I just love the relaxed vibe of both locations. Never had an issues and pizza is exactly what I've come to expect. I haven't ever ordered a full pizza so I can't speak to that. I'm always happy choosing one of their slices. I like the thin, crispier crust and the topping choices are usually plentiful. If it has ricotta on it, my eyes immediately land on that option! My favorite is "mushroom cloud" but in its absence, the pesto ricotta comes in second for me. Their Caesar salad is, oof, delicious as well. I get the dressing on the side because it can be a bit much but the garlicy goodness adds a nice spicy touch to the otherwise simple salad. Happy to hear they're expanding to Healdsburg and I wish well in that location!! (I wish it was Windsor. LOL)

Wednesday special, 18 inch cheese pizza $13.99, 10/23/24. This isn't widely advertised, as far as I am aware, but I'm old (50).

Hola fellow pizza lovers. While I have never hailed from NYC, this is some great thin crust pizza. I have been a customer of this Sebastopol location for about 15 years, although I moved to Solano County a decade ago. I always stop by for a slice when I'm in town, solo, on other business. I frequently visit on Tuesday's, for their special on a large, 18 inch pizza. Special varies from cheese $18, to five toppings, ~$24. Today, Wednesday October 23, 2024, to my pleasant surprise, I got the Wednesday Cheese special, $13.99. I hadn't realized this was offered as it isn't widely advertised, as far as I know, granted, I'm not on Facebook. I'll try to attach a picture of the receipt today.

Mother approved! My mom is super picky on the foods that I buy her and she seems to complain about everything! (Croissants are too burnt, Chinese food is too salty, pastries are not fresh enough, etc) She wanted CHEESE PIZZA so I automated thought of Mombo's of course. Best pizza in the north bay! Did a grubhub order and arrived in a hour. Fresh and still hot. She LOVED IT. She loved it so much she ate the whole pizza! I have ordered from Mombo's many times including for our 4th of July block party and it was a hit. Excellent quality and taste. I enjoyed their thin crust versus the super thick dough. Keep it up Mombo's!

I posted my review in my check in I will just say again! The Sebastopol location is the BEST! Saturday and his whole team are absolutely the best and l love coming in to have a slice or just to hang for a bit a chat.

While I was a student at the Santa Rosa Junior college, I made my way to Mambo's SR across the street on a multi-weekly basis. I remembered their delicious fresh pizzas, and friendly people, and when we return to Sonoma County, I made sure to bring my better half to see how they have stood up to the test of time. I heard from the online blogs that the Santa Rosa location was temporarily closed, after the unfortunate passing of the owner, so we made our way to Sebastopol to give them a shot. On our first visit to the Sebastopol location, both of us got two pieces of pizza, and they told us that there was a lunch deal where you get two pieces and a soda so that's what we did. We got our pizza to the car and had anticipated taking it somewhere to eat it, but the smell was so amazing, we opened the box and ate it right there. I was thrilled to see that their food was still as fresh and flavorful as I had remembered. We returned today and were hesitant because the Yelp page said they were closed on Sundays and we tried to call them but nobody answered. We went anyway, hoping for pizza, and thankfully they were open! I got one piece of their pesto and one piece of their vegetable and added ricotta, and hubby got one piece of pepperoni and one piece of cheese (each piece was $6, but the pieces are HUGE). All the pizza I've had at Mambo's has been good but I've got to say, this vegetable pizza I had today took the cake (or in this case, the pie). It was generously topped with very high quality, flavorful, crisp vegetables, and the ricotta cheese really brought everything together. I felt like my eyes were rolling back in my head as I mentioned to my better half how good it was. I didn't even share, which is very unlike me. The only downside to getting pizza by the slice here is that they bake the pizzas ahead of time and then retoast them in the oven to melt the cheese. This is a great way for them to keep things fresh, however it does result in the crust being extremely crunchy, and to the point of it being almost like a cracker. I know that the way to get around this is to just order a whole pizza and have it fresh, but I can't shake the convenience of the pizza by the slice. The location of this Mambo's is excellent, right off the main drag and right next to a very popular market. Parking can be rough because there's so much going on in that parking lot, however I've never had an issue waiting more than about 5 minutes for a spot. The people that work there are fast and friendly, and the food is just as good as the Santa Rosa Mambo's, other than the crunchy / overly crispy crust edges. I will definitely be back, and probably to order fresh pizza and hope that the Santa Rosa location reopens as well.

(FYI, I'm super woo :)) Then, my sister-in-law raved about it, declaring it the best pizza she's ever had. (Or something incredibly declarative like that.) We decided to give it a try. Upon walking in, Fugazi was playing in the shop. That was a good sign. When do you ever hear Fugazi playing at an establishment nowadays, the last time was probably in a record shop in the 90s. The pizzas are displayed, and you choose how much of each pizza you'd like and they will cut some off for you and it is priced by weight. Then, they heat it up for you to melt the cheese, and viola! Served with cloth napkins, pizza scissors, if desired when eating-in. (Truly the most brilliant way to cut pizza!) Immediately, I saw "OG Potato" and that was a must have. It was something like Potato, ricotta, chile oil, mozzarella, dill. (Just to cut to the chase on this one, it was incredible! I am obsessed with ricotta, and there was something about all the combination of flavors especially the dill that gave some freshness amongst the rich taste of everything else.) Others we got were the pepperoni, a 4 cheese, and a vegan one with no cheese, just tomato sauce, roasted garlic, olives (there may have been other stuff on it, but that's what I remember) Everything was incredible, even the vegan one. The tomato sauce was so high quality, and I was glad there wasn't any vegan cheese on it. Just veggie tastiness in its purest form. The sourdough crust was light and fluffy. It was all just so high quality, and you can feel the passion for their food. Oh yeah, I almost forgot a big star: the Kale Caesar. Don't sleep on that one. It's one of the best salads we've had in years. It was flavorful, with bits of sunflower seeds to give it crunch. Dressing was on-point with a mountain of fluffy parm on top. And so here's the thing with the current state of eating establishments. There is so much expensive mediocre food out there. Nowadays, you may pay $12 for a salad that's out of a bag with wilted ends and sorry baby carrots. And so, considering there's a place that's putting beautifully intentional food out there, I'd rather choose to go to the place that is high quality and cares about their food and sustainability. We topped off our experience with soft serve and a cookie. The soft serve was amazing. We got it 'eat-in' and it was high quality soft-serve in a whimsical cup and presidential spoons. (Love the sustainability angle, but also the whimsy) You can get it with olive oil and sea salt and other toppings, but I went pure. It was milky and homey, and just gooood. (My hubs wanted the cookie) Not to mention, service was genuine. There was a slow, no-rush vibe to this place that might piss some people off. But given its name, I feel like it's apt. It's Psychic Pie for god's sake, and the ethereal does not rush. In the ethereal, time doesn't exist!!! (lol) You can feel that every part of this establishment is in the vision of its owner, wanting the experience to be a part of their authenticity and values. And we need more of that in this world right now. (And I don't mean some skewed sense of 'authenticity' as in just saying whatever comes to mind and is 'in your face' that has infiltrated our society today) This is true authenticity I'm talking about - an expression of your own Light essence. (See, I told you I'm woo) Speaking of which, the music continued to be my jam at my time here... likely to be a Pixies radio mix, with awesome 90s punk / indie. Some songs I hadn't heard in decades but love. So, it was like entering into someone's establishment that's part of my soul tribe. So, if any of the above sound like your jam too... give it a try!

It is really the only place of its kind, at least in the North Bay. They make pizza Roman style, where they bake pizzas in a long, rectangular shape. Then, you get to determine how big of a piece you want. They cut it to your liking (in Italy this is called Al Taglio)and then you pay for it by the weight. They always have several options. The other thing that makes the pizza here so special is their use of sourdough crust. I love the texture and flavor that the crust gives to every pizza here. The service is always really good and very helpful. Once you pick your pizzas they will heat up your slices and then dress it up with extra toppings such as herbs, grated cheeses, oils, etc. One of the owners is typically working and they are such lovely people. On this particular visit, my wife and I ordered five different pizzas to try. One of my favorites is the OG Potato, which is covered in thin sliced, crispy potato, ricotta, mozzarella, creme fraiche, dill and chives. It is so rich and creamy. My new favorite is a pizza with blue cheese, walnuts, and caramelized onions that knocked my socks off. Unfortunately, I didn't get the name of that one. There was another new one to me which was the Hot coppa Striacatella. I don't know if I've ever seen charred chicory on a pizza before but it worked really well with the spicy coppa. I also tried the vegan slice which was really good and the Funguy, which is subtle but still tasty. I highly recommend you come try Psychic Pie if you've never been here. It is a Sebastopol must-do!

My two favorites are the Roo's and the Po-Tay-To. I love how the place is laid out. You can see into the kitchen, and the eating area is exactly what I think a pizza place should look like. It just feels comfortable. One time on my birthday, my wife picked up the pizza and didn't realize that they gave her the wrong one until she got home. She called and went back to get the right one, and when she got there they had forgotten to remake it, so she had to wait. She was honestly pretty mad at that point after making two trips, which I don't blame her for at all. But they were so apologetic that they ended up giving us the pizza for free, and that honestly made up for everything and turned it into a really nice surprise. She got over it pretty quickly after that. Funny enough, it worked out as two trips for two pizzas, and my birthday is 2/2. Now whenever I eat pizza anywhere else, I end up comparing it to Pizza Leah. Other places have good pizza, but this one just checks every single box for me. It just is the perfect pizza for me.

Really, I'd rate this place between 2 and 2 1/2 stars…read more We came here on a rainy Tuesday. We were looking for dog friendly places and this location came up. It's a very large venue which was nice as there was plenty of open seating. Our bartender was ok, nothing special. We asked for a bowl of water and he said there were two on the patio and pointed to one that had dog hair in it. We passed. We ordered a beer and four samplers to drink. We also ordered pizza but were told that the pizza place (Acre Pizza) couldn't do a half and half pizza and no modifications could be made. You can only add items on. So we ordered two pizzas and waited the 20-25 minutes. The pizza was ok, but nothing spectacular for the cost of 33 dollars per pizza, mine was a little burnt as well. The pizza came with two flimsy plates a few napkins and exactly 1 packet of red peppers and 1 packed of grated cheese. Just a heads up the Acre Pizza is a few doors down and when comparing menus there is a $5.00 per pizza mark up.
