    A complimentary dessert

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere, both inside and out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Based on the setting and appearance, we expected a more upscale dining experience, but unfortunately the food didn't live up to those expectations. I ordered the broccoli salad with shrimp. The shrimp was well cooked and flavorful, but the broccoli salad tasted like something you'd find at a supermarket deli rather than a restaurant at this price point. My partner had the fried scallops, which came with only fries, a small wedge of watermelon, and a couple of spoonfuls of coleslaw. While the scallops were decent, the sides were underwhelming, and overall the meal felt overpriced for what was served. The service was mixed. Our server was friendly and professional, but we felt a bit forgotten after our meal was finished. It took quite a while before anyone came back to check on us or ask if we needed anything else. We were also given a complimentary dessert at the end of the meal, which was a thoughtful gesture. However, its presentation was fairly underwhelming, so it didn't leave much of an impression and didn't desire to eat it. See picture of dessert attached. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, this restaurant has a lovely ambiance and a lot of potential, but the food quality, value, presentation, and attentiveness of the service didn't match the impression the restaurant's setting creates.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Lovely restaurant in the heart of Ogunquit. Diverse menu, with many options for seafood, meat and some vegetarian options. We didn't want a big dinner, so opted for soup and salads. Lobster bisque very filling and hearty was served with croutons. The clam chowder was well done and filling. We included lobster meat on the salad which made it a full meal! After dinner fudge was a great touch! [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat on the patio, next to a fire pit to take out some of the evening chill.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is positioned next to a very busy street, so it was noisy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was great and with a smile. Overall a positive experience.

This place is fantastic! My husband and I are MA residents that got married a couple weeks ago. We went here as a celebration dinner. Staff was very warm and welcoming. We were even surprised with champagne! Compliments from the owner. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat outside with the lovely fire place going.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We even went back the next day for lobster bisque! Not overly priced, either. Can't wait to visit again!

We just happened to walk by this place and decided to try it. We ate so glad we did! Our server was Noah and he was very friendly and attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Place was very busy with many waiting for a table outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We chose for a quicker table inside and we are glad we did. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Bar is decorated with pretty Turkish lamps[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highlight of our evening was our perfect fish and chips. We got our order about 10 minutes after ordering. Fish was hot and nicely fried. At the end of dinner, we were served complimentary fudge that we were told were made in-house. Very nice treat. We will be back again next time we are in the area to try other dishes.

Baked scallops and mashed potatoes, baked haddock and broccoli salad.

An impromptu moment after far too many delicious espresso martinis at Leavitt and was pleasantly surprised. Had the calamari app with their Elderflower Cucumber and Mint Martini , baked scallop with mashed potato, and baked haddock with broccoli salad. Everything was light, perfectly cooked, seasoned to perfection, and balanced. Not a single crumb left behind. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The outdoor seating has gas fire pits in the centers of the table making for great ambiance and the staff were wonderful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Showed up right before close (didn't realize until being seated) and wasn't rushed. I am a huge seafood fan and I appreciate the normal portions with attention to detail instead of whopping portions of mediocre food. Will be returning when here next season.

Haddock sandwich at an outdoor fire pit table

We were walking down the street in Ogunquit looking for a place for a late lunch. We stopped to look at the menu and the host approached us with complementary fudge. it was amazing and [[HIGHLIGHT]]we were intrigued by the outdoor fire pit tables in late October[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] so we decided to take a chance. What a great experience! Our server was totally on top of things and we enjoyed our meal. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They also have lap blankets at the fire pit table, and they bring more fudge with your check.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I highly recommend this place!

    Elderberry, cucumber, mint martini

Great service and food. Their elderberry cucumber mint martini are delicious. We also had the mac & cheese and bacon wrapped scallops. Yum.

The seafood was below average but I enjoyed their fried fish options. Oysters were full of shards and I've had way better pretty much everywhere else. Service is decent, but maybe below average for the amount of workers they had on the floor in comparison to the amount of people that were actually dining. It's also a bit ridiculous that they haven't fixed their menu issue. There's going to be wind at the beach, maybe find a way to not have menus fly out into the ocean pretty much every 5 minutes? The menus are also laminated, so they just sit there to not rot and instead pollute the area. I suggest having some sort of hole puncher and a binder ring to give it weight and perhaps anchor it to something because the issue is getting out of hand. Not the best way to have a beach-side restaurant.

We arrived without a reservation and were told there would be about an hour wait. The host came across as a bit snarky, although he did offer us seats at the bar, which we appreciated. After being seated, it took about 30 minutes before anyone took our order, followed by another 40 minutes before our food arrived. The bartenders were working incredibly hard and were clearly doing everything they could to keep up with the rush, so I don't fault them at all. Unfortunately, one of our meals arrived cold and was extremely over-salted. The restaurant refunded that dish without hesitation, which I appreciated, but it shouldn't have left the kitchen that way in the first place. From what we could see, the kitchen was seriously backed up and the overall operation wasn't being managed well. The staff deserved better support because they were hustling nonstop while trying to deal with unhappy customers. I hope management addresses these issues because the employees are putting in the effort. With better kitchen execution and smoother operations, this could be a much better dining experience.

I'd been coming here for at least 20 years, and in recent years it had been a favorite spot to eat outside when traveling with my dog. But now, we are not allowed to eat outside with a dog. Instead we had to order to-go and then walk down back to a 'dog area' which is a spot to the left of the building, below the parking area with one picnic table and some chairs in the woods. It was a beautiful sunny day, but we were getting eaten alive by no-seeums, which is not a nice experience when paying $100 for 1 meal with 6 scallops, 4 small pieces of fried fish, fries and slaw, an order of onion rings, a small clam chowder, and 2 beers. And $50 for a small lobster, an ear of corn, and an iced tea. I get that this is a tourist area, but $12 for a beer in a plastic cup and a $7.50 up charge for 6 scallops while being banished to a buggy spot that made eating very uncomfortable is a big no thank you for me. Crossing this place off my list, sadly. The upgrades and changes to this place are not a bonus at all. I'm sad that a place I always felt was friendly and welcoming is now overpriced and we all felt like we were being treated as second class citizens.

We sat at a table by the window on the first floor. We overheard that there is an upstairs bar, not sure if they also seat folks for dinner there. We were able to place an order right after getting settled. We enjoyed the Sun mocktail, charred beet salad, mac and cheese, fried codd sandwich, steak frites, and corn ravioli (without the pancetta). My spouse is gluten free and I am vegetarian so we are always looking for restaurants that can accommodate both. The charred beet salad was good but I think dressed a bit too heavily. I thought the corn ravioli and sun mocktail were both great. The kids (ages 1.5 and 5) liked the Mac and cheese and fried cod sandwich. They did not have any appropriate booster seats for the 1.5 year old so my spouse held him. My spouse loved the steak frites but I think wished had a few more "frites" given the amount of interest from the younger crowd. Our waiter was wonderful and also brought some orange slices from the bar for the kids. We were very grateful. We decided to go nearby for ice cream after dinner, but I heard there is a dessert menu.

Gosh, you just hope you made a memorable choice for the right reasons. We did - we both felt we not only received value for our dining dollars, we felt cared for by the staff and satiated by the kitchen. People like sitting outside - so the reservations reflected that and we could only be seated inside. Was not a disappointment to be seated inside. I highly recommend this restaurant. I had a steak sandwich and my dining partner had a chicken sandwich. Both were really tasty and well prepared. We only had water to drink and that was not a problem.
