OG Nashville Sandwich (Medium heat). Also pictured: fries
    Justine T.

Amazing chicken sandwiches - high quality, juicy, and delicious! The OG Nashville sandwich with the medium heat level was really good (warning: the spice builds). The sandwich consisted of two very crispy fried chicken fillets on a bed of fresh slaw and pickles, enveloped by a soft bun. I prefer one large fillet rather than two smaller ones, since it's harder to eat and keep the sandwich intact. The slaw was a bit too wet, making the bun pretty soggy, which also contributed to the sandwich falling apart. The fries aren't my favorite cut and it was a tad overcooked, but they're not bad. Overall, I enjoyed my lunch and would come back!

Drink Prices with no mention of how small they are or the refill policy

Sandwich was outstanding, fries were ok, my main issue was the drink and communication. 3.49 for a 16-18 ounce sweat tea, no refills allowed, no sign, no mention of this, they wait until you are out of drink mid meal to refuse to refill it. The price for a single use cup was too much but my main annoyance is the lack of conveyance concerning this information.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while. Saw it was one in the area I was in so stopped by. Very clean. Awesome customer service. Loved that it was fresh as it was made to order. Portion size was great. Flavor amazing. Will I find back? Umm yeah. Highly recommend.

We were too lazy to head to the DC location or even the Tysons one so we were glad this one popped up. We've been here twice in about a week because we enjoyed it so much (one order in and one for takeout). We've tried the OG Nashville, the Honey Butter, the Club, and their fries. Portions are pretty big here since all the sandwiches come with two chicken breasts and the fries come by the fistful (my best comparison for now?) so you only need one order. Favorite sandwich is the club since it comes with bacon and ranch. The chicken is pretty juicy and crispy for the most part and so are the fries since they are twice fried. The OG Nashville isn't dipped in a sauce like expected but it's still very solid regardless. If you're looking for a good fried chicken sandwich and a filling meal, it's definitely worth a look.

It's nice to have locations outside of the district. You can't go wrong with a chicken sandwich from roaming rooster. I got the chicken sandwich with the honey butter on it. It was very delectable. I always add a little heat to mine because the honey and heat compliment each other very well. With that said, you can select the spiciness of the chicken. The fries are terrible, they need to work on improving the fries. I'm also sad to see they don't have the chipotle mayo, at least this location didn't. I love the ordering system, very easy and you get a text message once your order is ready. All in all, the food here is good.

Wow! I was so surprised at how good this chicken sandwich was very crispy. The homemade coleslaw was fresh just a little spicy. I loved it 10 out of 10 I would recommend.

There are a couple less than enthusiastic ladies working the register but usually the employees are very friendly. But who really cares because the food is effing awesome. I've been five or six times and each time the food was incredible so that's consistency. I like the honey butter chicken either mild or medium spice. Medium is actually pretty spicy. The fries are really good too. Pepsi products are mostly trash but at least there's Mountain Dew. I highly recommend the food here.

Very very good. Service was very nice and made good small talk with us haha. We got the og sandwich hot, and the club medium. The fries are not included so we got that as well. I'm very impressed with the sandwich and the fries reminded me of boardwalk fries :D so yummy.

Waiting for my Grandbaby's Gender Reveal Celebration and what else do I do in my free time? YELP! Saw this place a couple of weeks ago and decided to check it out. It is all about fried chicken up in here. I am trying to get this girlish figured back. But I am going to do it not for the vine, but for the Yelp. I generally try to not eat Icar but we were at the park waiting for the gender reveal. I had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and I got my Husband the Chicken Club sandwich. Both were fresh, well-seasoned and deliciously pleasing to the pallet! My tongue and stomach were both happy(We won't tell about thr thighs right now). So we'll worth it though. I will return again for sure. I will have a new Grandson in December!

My BF and I ordered takeout directly from Roaming Rooster on a weekday a little after 11am. I've had RR in DC, but this was my first time trying it outside of the food truck. I can't speak to the physical location or customer service since my BF picked up the order; however our food was ready very quickly- about 15 minutes after ordering. Everything was really tasty and RR does not play when it comes to spice level. Our chicken tenders were the hottest, and we had to eat them in waves to protect our mouths and tastebuds. The portions were healthy, particularly the chicken and slaw. The chicken was juicy and the outside had a nice crunch. The slaw was, surprisingly, delicious and I thought it contained the perfect balance regarding vinegar. I'd definitely order lunch from this location of RR in the future.

    OG Nashville and the club.

I have been waiting for this location to open forever! It took over the former Burger King spot. I went during lunch time, and it was not too crowded. Got the OG Nashville, the Club and a side of fries. Got the medium heat level and it provided a decent kick. I definitely want to go back to try the hot. The sandwich was a decent size. The chicken was crispy and juicy. Overall it is pretty good, I still prefer Wooboi, but now I do not have to go too far for a good chicken sandwich.

The actual restaurant feels massive but decorated in a rustic way. I want to give a huge shout out to Alicia. She is such a knowledgeable, approachable, and receptive server. She was on top of refilling drinks, making sure we weren't left alone for too long when we were waiting for our food to come, and just had an overall amazing energy. While we really enjoy all of the servers we've had at Mikes, Alicia takes the cake. If there's any way to provide her with recognition, I would highly vouch for it. She could sell me anything on that menu with that kind of personality! Thank you, Alicia! I'm going to make sure we try to get seated at your table again.

Since the reservation form asked if we were celebrating anything, I hoped we would be placed in a special area or at least somewhere more intimate. Unfortunately, that was not the case. We were led up a staircase, which offered a cool view of the environment, but ended up at a small table in a small high traffic area. Initially, we thought it was a unique experience because of the restaurant's interior design, but we soon realized it was going to be uncomfortable...because heat rises and we were stuck upstairs with so many other people who seemed just as warm as us. It was excessively hot, and I found myself fanning myself with one of the menus at the table. While our server was probably trying his best, the service left much to be desired. We were eager to leave as soon as we arrived. After ordering and enjoying what we could of our meals, which were quite good, we just wanted to leave. However, our server was absent for a long time, leaving us stuck at the table. Instead of being a cute little anniversary dinner, it just turned out to be a disappointing experience at a new restaurant

That said things are tough these days and it's hard to justify eating out and paying more for meals and drinks. We purchase gift cards at Costco ($100 worth for $80) and combine that with the weekly specials they have traditionally offered. In short, we made it affordable enough to justify going on a tight budget. The Good The staff are great (John at the bar has been there for 20+ years), the food is good and the prices have usually been reasonable. We are big fans of the wings at Glory Days and the $6.99 for 6 after 9 PM made this our GoTo appetizer. I've had many meals at the Burke location after working late nights or after working out the gym and I've enjoyed the consistency and devotion the staff put into the experience. Sheldon often has my beer ready by the time I get a seat at the bar. Glory Days is a sponsor for some of the local public baseball fields and a big draw for teams at the many local schools. Add to all of this a good location, TONS of SCREENS and a real sense of neighborhood commitment and you can see why customers show so much loyalty. The NOT so Good Recently the policies and the menus have been changing. Prices have gone up, discounts have gone down or been completely eliminated and some items are no longer offered. I've heard that this is partially due to a change in ownership, apparently the new management team wants to go after more money and expect customers to just absorb the cost. I guess they took a page from Amazon's "Screw over the Prime members" playbook. Reasonable prices and policies have been replaced with higher prices and less options. Don't care for fries? You'll pay an upcharge to swap them out for broccoli or rice. Goodbye $6.99 wings and hello $11.99 for the same 6 bone-in wings. No more half price burgers on Monday, Taco Tuesdays and etc. Instead they have a "Trifecta" and the "Merica Burger". Needless to say I'm not impressed. Moving On These changes have prompted my wife and I to explore local alternatives despite our loyalty to the staff at the Burke location. We still hold a few gift cards and we'll be back to use them but we're not buying any more and we're checking out other restaurants. Tonight, it is Oh George! over by GMU. Time will tell if Glory Days returns to it's former Glory or goes down the profit driven death spiral.

Finally coming in for lunch did not disappoint. We tried their "3 Bites & Small Plates" deal for $25, and it was absolutely worth it. We went with the feta dip (of course), cheddar cheese curds, and tikka masala meatballs. For a non-Indian restaurant, the tikka masala was surprisingly on point - really flavorful and well-balanced. The cheese curds were super satisfying, especially dipped into the sauces they come with. But the star of the show is still the hot honey feta dip. The bread is lightly charred, giving it a subtle smoky flavor that pairs perfectly with the warm, salty, gooey feta and sweet honey. It's one of those dishes you think about after you leave. For drinks, I had the Wild Blueberry Lemon Drop - very refreshing and definitely on the stronger side (it is a martini, so no complaints). We also tried the watermelon margarita - pro tip: ask for it with tajin, it makes a huge difference. For entrées, we got the lunch grilled cheese and tomato soup, which was exactly what you'd hope for - comforting and classic. We added candied bacon to the grilled cheese and didn't regret it at all. We also had the quarter pound burger, which tasted fresh and really hit the spot. The fries were perfect - crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. And yes - I loved the hot honey feta dip so much that I actually ordered it as my entrée too, no regrets at all. The staff was welcoming and helpful, and the overall vibe inside is very chill and lowkey. We sat outside by the fireplace, and even with the weather warming up, it was surprisingly comfortable with the fans going. Definitely recommend - whether you're dining in or ordering out, you can't go wrong here!
