I ordered my usual and waited about 10 minutes. The GTC was excellent. It had spice and flavor, but not too spicy. The fried rice was delicious. Good portion size and a good price. If you had told me this had come from my favorite- now sadly closed - Chinese restaurant, I would have never known the difference. There is seating behind a wall where the lights would be blocked from view. We got used to the lights after a short time and no one in our party was bothered by them, but even the teens commented that the lights would bother some people. The service was adequate. The two people working the front of the restaurant were courteous and welcoming. They brought water without us requesting it and were quick to put in our appetizer order. The food came out in a reasonable time and our water was refilled once while we ate. I had to get the wait staff's attention more than once during our visit (to order dessert and pay the bill), which for me signals the wait staff isn't paying enough attention. They were slow to bring me the check so we could pay and leave. I am going to be optimistic that the service will improve in needed ways as the staff gain more experience and learn how to better manage multiple tables. We hope to add YiPin to our family's shortlist of go-to eateries and we will be back to explore the menu further.
