Of course, I'm always down for a burger, so I stopped to check out BGR Burger. In short, I like Burger Grilled Right (BGR). As kind of a takeoff on the typical 1950's diner theme, BGR has an 80's rock theme, both in the music they play and the wall decorations. You go to the counter, place your order and they give you a buzzer to alert you that your meal is ready. I ordered the basic "The Burger". I like that in placing your order, you can explicitly specify what condiments and toppings you want on your burger. I also appreciate that each table has its own set of condiments and paper towels. Okay, cutting to the chase, how was my burger? In a big way, it comes down to if you prefer flame-broiled or griddle-cooked meat. Myself, I prefer griddle-cooked. Flame-broiled reminds me of Burger King burgers. BGR burgers are flame-broiled, so I don't love the taste of BGR meat, but it's still good. So If you like flame-broiled, you'll love BGR burgers. I was kinda surprised at the burger bun. It looked like a Brioche bun which is notorious for falling apart, but the BGR bun is sturdy and holds up well. The toppings, including grilled onions, were great. So overall, a very good burger. Yeah, all things considered, I'll be back. read more

Went to BGR to grab a burger in person with my family. We had ordered from there before and thought it was really tasty so we had to get eat in the physical location. The staff was very friendly and explained the menu, they had multiple sauce options and burger toppings. The burger and fries came out delicious and made to order, and was decently priced at 13$ for bacon cheeseburger by itself. The interior was very casual and they had plenty of high chairs for small children. Would definitely go back, was so hungry I completely forgot to take a photo of the food. Got a to-go order of the lunch boxset and redeemed a birthday milkshake. Found this broken piece of jewelry at the bottom of my milkshake, my fries were not even in temperature and the kitchen interpreted my "no mayo" request as "no mojo" sauce for my burger. Their mojo sauce is one of the best things to add to their burgers. I got a refund for my entire meal, which was nice, but I think I will steer clear from them for a while. It starts when I came in they greeted me with a smile and took my order and then the cashier helped me get my receipt scanned for points since I used the wrong card. I asked for my sweet potato fries be cooked not too well done and they came out perfect. And later as I was eating, the cook came to my table to ask if they were cooked right and I laughed and said yes they always are when I remember to tell them how I like them. I ate here with my mom and two kids on a Sunday night. I had a BYO burger, medium, with pepper jack cheese. Many of the offered toppings are free. My kids both had hot dogs, one with tater tots and the other fries. The tots and fries were hot-pretty tasty too. We had a couple of chocolate shakes between the four of us. These were definitely the highlight-very thick and creamy. When ordering at the counter, the kid working was patient and polite. Only complaint is the bathrooms are single stall. I liked the 80s music theme and the pac man/ms. PAC man decals on the doors. I noticed a steady takeout business while we were there. I wanted to like this place, open flame grilling, a roll of paper towels at the table, hip interior, it seemed like a promising mix but ultimately fell a bit short. The burger: made well, flavorful, got the toppings right but I wasn't totally sold on the taste. A little bigger in diameter than a big mac. Parmesan garlic fries: depressing. Soggy. Not at all crisp. It reminded me of undercooked steak fries and tasted of garlic flavored vegetable oil. Vanilla shake: Pretty good, thick. One straw size for all so prepare to suck hard. The payment screen asks for a tip but they do not provide table service, just a vibrating alert for you to come get it. All that for nearly $30. I don't feel it was a rip off but I won't be back. The fries should be cooked and well done. The prices are about a dollar too high across the board, and if they really want tips, at least bring the food to our table. read more

This is a good burger, not incredible but really good. It was made on the spot, cooked medium vs the medium rare I asked for but still good. My old bay fries were a little spicy but also good. It's one of those places where it's all just good, I don't think anyone would say it's the BEST "insert here", but it's good and quick My biggest complaint is the lack of alcohol I need a glass of wine with my burger. Me and my family came from Stafford and sat in traffic, but it was worth the drive all the burgers were great.

The burger was OK, but all 3 of us ordered fries and they were way overcooked. The service was ok... host was not smiling, but at least was polite. Here is my advice... the place looks very dirty, bathroom are terrible and in dire need of rehab like paint and better look. They have some sort of tables with some art work like a mosaic, but you can tell there are back when the restaurant opened because they are dirty and the border of the tables are filthy. Disgusting! Cleaning chemicals visible in the dining room, but the bottles without labels. Who knows what they are utilizing for Cleaning and it is a clear violation of food safety. I hope it is a disinfectant! I ordered 3 single bacon cheeseburgers without any extras, 3 French fries and 3 fountain drinks and my bill was $62.81!!! Holly Cow! It better be the best burger out there! It is NOT! For that price, at least you need to keep the restaurant clean and welcoming and should put money back into the restaurant to make it worth a $26 burger. The delicious smells from the parking lot is what really attracted me to this place tonight! This is my first time here and the menu looks simple but the cashier failed to inform me of add on's like fries and a drink which I didn't notice since they were on the far left of the menu above me. A truffle wagyu burger with mushrooms and swiss cheese sounds fantastic! I didn't notice any truffle flavor at all! And it was well cooked thru even though I ordered a medium done burger, at least it was still soft hopefully due to the wagyu part. I went back and added on tator tots and an oreo milkshake which seemed to take forever to get. There was no line when I entered this restaurant but it still took 25+ minutes to get my food. My total for this meal was $27 which is a bit steep for just a burger, fries and a drink, although my drink was an oreo shake. I'll have 2nd thoughts about revisiting this place because it's slow and expensive! At least it tasted good and the tater tots were crunchy and hot! I'm not sure why I go back but my daughter asked for a burger and tater tots so i reluctantly said yes. The app is terrible and never works to allow you to redeem rewards. I got to the store and the person at the counter said my order wasn't ready but was next. About 5-10 minutes go by and several other orders come out and I go back to ask about my order. "Oh, it's right here." It had been sitting there the whole time and he didn't bother to tell me even though I was standing right there. Their basic burger is a step above a basic "fast-food" burger. The major advantage of BGR are the burger options. They are numerous and unique. Similarity, the french fries options are greater than the typical burger shop and come with cheese or plain. Since I opted for a basic cheeseburger, plain fries and a Pepsi, the $25 price tag was excessive. The burger and fries tasted like a burger and fries and were nothing to write home about. Perhaps the flavor for the more obscure options was more appropriate for the higher price. The ambience was rather stark with a row of tables lined against on wall. Like "fast-food" restaurants, there is no table service. In addition, there was minimal distance between the tables which makes it good for a large group outing. But a little too close for any privacy for small groups. I did enjoy looking at posters. From my perspective, the bottom line is their basic burger and fries are much better than "Fast Food", but considering the self-service environment and stark atmosphere, they are not worth the $25 price tag. read more

Burgers are made with freshly ground FDA certified angus beef, with an option to upgrade to a Waygu burger made with freshly ground Waygu & sprinkled with black truffles - the taste of the truffle-burger patty alone, without any additional seasoning is enough to melt in your mouth, with each bite bursting with tender flavor that I don't known I've ever tasted it's like prior to discovering this small franchise/chain. 5/5 would recommend, prices are surprisingly compared to the quality of their open-flame grilled angus & Wagyu beef (with veggie burger optiion) and a ton of fresh toppings, most of which come free in any come, except those premium proteins and veggies (like avocado, bacon jam, crispy grilled peppers & remebeung was, onion rings, etc.) and the option to "double check rup" RXon your hamburger, adding an additional burger patty of the specified protein of choice. Third time ordering and the restaurant forgot part of my order and all sauces! This is frustrating as going through the process of a refund takes forever! This restaurant has had many issues plaguing it and keeps scaling back more and more. Now they only have a handful of restaurants and mismanagement is the sole reason for its continued decline. I am so pleased with this BGR! We have always loved the food, ambiance, and service at the restaurant but now have something else to appreciate. Twice we made a special order via Uber Eats. The Uber Eats app does not allow for "special orders" for BGR but each time I called up and the staff graciously took the special order (on the Uber Eats order I placed). I just wish I could tip the BGR staff with my "special" Uber Eats orders. I will just need to make it up, the next time we are at the restaurant. read more

Pretty great location, the hubby and I stopped by for a quick meal while in the area. I came in here recently on a Saturday afternoon for an early dinner. I got the burger of the month (medium well done, $15.00), an M&M cookie ($2.25), and tater tots ($6.75). The ingredients were fresh and tasty and the service was friendly and relatively quick. The burger was really good; it was not overcooked. The burger was their Oktoberfest burger; I don't remember the exact name. It had onions, mushrooms, steaksauce, and sausage. The sausage is what made the sandwich.
