I never been , my server Amy was incredible, her extensive knowledge of the menu was extremely impressive, especially because the menu is a 17 page binder ,I had the firecracker shrimp for an appetizer, and the herb glazed salmon for lunch , it was very delicious and very nice size proportion as well, I will definitely be back and highly recommend you come visit this restaurant, ask for Amy , she's the server but has also been a chef and bartender, she can explain the overwhelming large menu very well read more

Came in last night for dinner for my bday. Wanted a place with good consistent food for just me and bae to enjoy. We had Peyton as our server and she was great! Make sure to ask for her! On April 26 around 4:30PM, I visited Maggie McFly's and sat at the bar. I ordered a tea and a cupcake and was considering staying for dinner. My experience with the bartender (name he provided: DC) was disappointing. After he finished serving another group, I got his attention, but he looked at me, then turned away and walked off to talk to a colleague. I waited, and he didn't come back, so I had to go out of my way to get his attention again. When I finally got his attention again, I asked about the chocolate cupcakes options and which one he recommended, his response was dismissive. He replied "neither," mentioned he preferred vanilla and walked away without helping further. The interaction felt unwelcoming and lacked basic customer service. It had a hint of prejudice. I spoke with the manager because the experience was uncomfortable and not what I expected. If you're in a customer-facing role, professionalism and respectful interaction should be consistent. I always see this place with tons of customers, but the food was disappointing. I ordered Clam Chowder soup & there were more potatoes instead of the clams. They should rename it potatoes soup. Then I ordered the pasta and it was extremely salty. Service was alright. We went at an odd time, so no other customers were there. It still took awhile before we got our entrée. The ambiance was ok. I have been to this place the first time 2 weeks ago midweek around 3pm. Took some time for someone to come to the table and the place was empty. The service was OK and the food was good, but they were out of most dessert options. I come back with a guest bc the menu was extensive enough for my picky eater, and again slow service but the food was mid also. Once again, there are no desserts, not a lot of customers but the food took forever. There are a lot of staff standing around and completely ignoring customers until you ask someone for help. Food is not seasoned at all. The menu has wayyyyy too much going on, so we presumed it may not be great. Not sure how true the notion is that places with too much on the menu doesn't usually have good food. But that is the case here so far... We spent a lot of time debating what to get, overwhelmed by the vast menu (a binder of about 22 pages, literally) but underwhelmed by the options. I ordered firecracker shrimp...not bad, but it's very evident that the shrimp was not seasoned before being battered, nor does the batter taste seasoned. Also ordered the garlic bread pizza, it was drenched in oil. Actually tasted as though I was drinking oil...yikes. I sent it back and asked if I could have a fresh one not drenched, the waiter said it's made with a butter and that's why it's that way...so she took it off my tab (thus I have no photo as I expected to get one back before taking a photo.) My family also had bang bang shrimp (a meal with curry, strange); reported to have zero flavor. The truffle fries were not seasoned, just had truffle parmegiano on top. Same for the parmesan truffle rosemary chicken wings, no flavor, just Parmesan on top (My aunts description was "horrible"); Philly egg roll, tasteless. Pretty disappointed. My family and I decided to come here after my nephew's soccer game. My first impression is that it's similar to the Cheesecake Factory with its large menu. You can order a wide range of different types of cuisines. I would sum up my dining experience as subpar. I think this place can improve on a few things. Food was under seasoned and lacked flavor. Waited a year to see if things changed. Service this time was actually pretty great. Professional, attentive, and made sure to get our drinks in a timely manner. My only issue was that the buffalo sliders and fries weren't hot. Either I got old fries or the food was just left at expo for a while. First time trying this spot and I left feeling awkward and disappointed. Dined with some girls on a Friday evening and we ordered HH drinks and appetizers. Our server was not returning to our table as quickly as we would've liked with drink refills and to ask about missing food items. He even made a multiple rude comments such as, "someone's hungry!" and "let's hope this card doesn't decline!". I am a very forgiving person but these comments made members of my group feel uncomfortable making our experience unforgettable in a negative light. Of course I had to read all about the place! Expansive menu, name has no written relevance to the movie, and well here is my take. Place was fairly empty and they still missed a few beats. We had a good time at Maggie McFly's. The menu is EXTENSIVE! If you want it, they definitely got it! The ambiance was fun. They played hits from the 80s and 90s. It's definitely family friendly and appropriate for everything from an afternoon with the kids to date night. The customer service was really good. The food was solid. I would not recommend the Thanksgiving Turkey Sandwich. It was very dry and there was not enough stuffing and cranberry sauce. I suspect that sandwich is probably better served in November or December. The drinks we ordered were well prepared and strong. Free parking is plentiful. I will definitely return. read more

Everything was good, impressed with the ahi tuna salad and disappointed with their short rib poutine app. The short rib should be chopped smaller, not in chunky strips and the cheese was in one big dollop versus curds like poutine should be. Terrible food and extremely poorly lighted seating. I think we were given the seats so as to make the food appealing.. The bar area had a few people but otherwise the restaurant of the restaurant was empty. We tried different dishes - 7 total and NOT one was decent..You could smell the rancid oil which was probably used over and over again! And ofc they forgot an item in the order. Im sorry that a lot of people are still new to finding out about Maggie's, i absolutely love everything about this place. Located next door to the Springfield Mall there is no designated parking but that doesn't ruin the experience. Besides the Cheesecake Factory I've never seen such a large menu option so big is like a book. From everything seafood, handhelds, chicken, fresh made pasta, gluten & vegan options you will literally need a second visit just to embrace more options. The service is always great and friendly from the bar, to the restaurant sitting you'll have an amazing experience. Then my wife needed a new water because of a fruit fly in her drink. When I politely asked for my diet, she returned with a Dr. Pepper. Appetizer: when it came out, it was subpar to say the least, the candied bacon was a nice touch but the Brussels themselves had little to no flavor; and the garlic aoili....was just a blob of mayo in the middle of the plate. Main course: fish tacos, and shrimp tacos on a corn tortilla (shrimp tacos w/ no mango salsa due to a severe food allergy) first it had to be remade due to making the wrong tortilla but that's okay bc we much rather have the right thing than wrong and the fact it was being made was nice bc you knew it was fresh, then the food came out and it looked like this huge filled taco which was amazing but in reality it was a small strip of protein on top with a mouthful of cabbage underneath. Our server acted like it was a hassle to serve or check on us or even give us the time of day everything was quick and abrupt. Came here the other night with two of my good friends on a Sunday Evening and it was the perfect spot to watch the game & eat some good food. There wasn't a wait or anything which was cool, although our waiter was a bit slow checking on us. Bless her heart! However, when the food did come, we didn't say much... I had the Wagyu Burger with fries and a side of Sautéed Broccolini! It was -- LIKE THAT!!! So goood. The portion size was perfect, so you don't overeat, but safe to say, I'll be ordering that again. I was very disappointed in my experience tonight. We drove around and started in a couple of different places to eat. We ended up at Maggie McFlys because of the expansive menu. There were three of us in our party. Two adults and a teen. When we ordered, my husband ordered fajitas with double steak and the waiter mistook that for two orders. We also ordered a pizza and steak. A good waiter would have questioned the "double" order. The fajitas were tasty enough. The pizza is described as a thin crust. Not true. The menu seemed a bit overwhelming at first - and that was only because I wanted to try every single thing that they had. Looks like the Cheesecake Factory's menu has a formidable opponent. If tequila is your go to drink, then the margarita flight is specifically for you. This allows you to try all 4 of their flavors in 5oz portions. My favorite was a toss-up between the hibiscus and the coconut margaritas. Both were refreshing to drink & I ended up ordering full glasses of both before the night ended. If you are looking for a quick lunch...this is NOT your place. I was by myself- there was one other table when I sat down. Only 2 came in after. I sat at the bar. Ordered soup and a salad. The soup came out thank goodness it has a spoon because I didn't have utensils. Did not have a napkin either. Salad came 20-30 minutes later. Got utensils after it was delivered. Employees seemed to be nonexistent unless they were doing something with a table. People waiting to be sat, wandering around looking for people. Had to wait for someone to walk by to get my check. All in all staff is not attentive. Then I get my bill and realize I was charged for a dinner salad - it was lunchtime. When ever I do a pickup order I order the same thing, the Louisiana Chicken & Pasta. It's always been great. Someone decided that it was better to put wayyyy more chicken and wayyyy less pasta with the meal. I don't know whose idea that was but it doesn't make sense. The shrimp were large and a perfect coating of whatever batter they used. All other salad ingredients were fresh (avocado, cucumber) it all came together well. Fries were smaller in size then expected and sandwich plates too big for the order-made it look like something was missing or burgers were smaller. There was no air conditioning and it was already pretty hot outside so that didn't exactly make our experience any better either.
