It gets really busy, so it is normal to have to wave a bartender down to order. However, they are very good about making rounds and asking if you are good to go or need anything. For a bar, The food and selection of food is very good. They have a great variety of options and everything I have tried so far has been great. Pizza, boneless wings, the hummus!, the sliders and tacos. All very good. If an order is wrong, they will make it right. I ordered boneless wings (half buffalo and half lemon pepper). They gave me whiskey pepper instead of the lemon. I told the bartender and he said he would take care of it. They brought me a whole order of lemon pepper wings on top of the ones I already had. The bar area was really packed when I came last night for a late dinner, but service was surprisingly very fast! Aimee was a fantastic bartender! At the Yard House in Springfield VA. I walked in a didn't get acknowledged by any staff. Someone walked in behind me a she was greeted. I am a little disappointed. Yard House needs to greet everyone who walks through the door. Happy hour is from 3pm - 6pm Monday through Friday. When ordering a drink, water should be offered. I ordered chicken nachos. I heard great things. I am here to try them out and give you my review. It's happy hour and the place is packed. The restaurant has a really big bar with lots of seating. They have patio seating, at the bar seating land a bunch of booths if you have a big party. The bar has over 100 different beers on draft. I had to try out Yard House's happy hour because I heard they had 1/2 off appetizers! Appetizers start out at $7. Everything came out in big portions, so you can definitely share everything at the table. The nachos were really good. Huge portion and perfect for sharing. I would suggest that you ask for extra sour cream. The buffalo boneless wings were good and I loved that they came with a skewer so you don't get messy. Very date friendly appetizer. The tenders were cool, just nothing special. Fries were good but the honey mustard was watery. The burgers were mid. Just a regular burger with no seasoning. The spinach dip was edible but not seasoned. I've had better spinach dip from the grocery store. The ambiance is the same as your typical bar, loud, fast paced, with many tvs. Overall I regret ordering the burgers and spinach dip but I loved everything else and I'll definitely be back! 8 appetizers and 2 drinks only came up to $80! read more

We went to the Yard House on a Saturday afternoon and were quickly seated which was nice. Its a sports bar but the vibe was very chill. The staff were relatively friendly. But mostly absent, apparently most of the ordering is done on the tabletop kiosk, with the exception of alcohol, which at the yard house one does in-fact want to drink alcohol. So that was a little annoying. Otherwise the food was delicious and the brought out relatively quickly. The salads and kid mac and cheese were huge. Also the fruit that comes with the kids meal is fresh fruit so loved that. I had a bacon and bleu burger which I asked to be cooked at medium and it was served at a perfect medium. We also had a Nashville chicken sandwich which was way too soggy but other wise delicious. Onion rings, regular fries and parmesan fries were also cooked perfectly. I will say they are heavy with the parsley on the parm-fries but otherwise they were so good! Especially if a game is on. Plenty of big screens and seating to enjoy a game that's playing. Anyhoo- met my cheer sisters for a quick catch up on this beautiful Saturday afternoon. Truffle fries used to be the best, now?! Wth am I eating? Maui chicken used to be dark meat with bones and now? White dry chicken meat and it doesn't even taste good for almost $32 a plate?!?! Service?!?!? This place used to have amazing servers and bartenders, but i am sure they found a place that cares and worships their hardworking. Chin the Asian bartender? I got the whiskey salmon ($26) and it came out in about 20 minutes. The salmon was a bit overcooked, but the glaze whiskey sauce they had easily compensated for it and gave it some moisture. We visited this place on a Wednesday evening. It is part of the mall so there is a very large parking area, but we still had to park pretty far out. We were able to get seated right away, and the hostess explained the tablets on the table. The tablet has a picture of every food item on the menu and lists all ingredients in the meal, so you can easily check for allergies. We did have to wait a while before our waiter took our order, but the menu is huge and everyone (including the picky kids) found something that they liked. All of the food came out AMAZING!!!! The Spicy jambalaya with spicy rice was the best I've ever had, and the kids ate every single thing on their plates. Keep in mind that this place is known for their draft beer selection, so it is very loud, but that is kind of to be expected. Overall, we had a great meal and will return again. read more

I have a dog and I love my dog but I do not believe dogs belong in an establishment where there's food. This place was as loud as a nightclub, but lacked customers that wanted to party. It took probably 15-20 minutes to get a server and for the entire evening they kept forgetting we were there. It's been some time since I've visited Yard House but I'm glad I decided to come. The restaurant is located in Springfield mall/ town center so parking can be a bit of a hassle. Just be sure to bring your patience when it comes to parking. My family met up for dinner here. They have some of your typical sized booths but they also have some really large booths. With a toddler, baby, and several adults I'm glad the booth we were seated in had so much space! They have booster seats as well as high chairs. Our server was very nice and attentive and didn't mess up our order at all lol. But the most important part here is the food! The onion rings were delicious, I should've ordered some to go. I also ordered the truffle burger and it was cooked medium just like I asked. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food and my toddler even enjoyed the pizza! They actually have kids menus with pictures the kids can color as well as table top games on those screen machines. So whether you don't mind screens or want to be screen free there's an activity to keep your child occupied. There's a changing table in the bathroom for your littles as well. Love yardhouse everytime I go. I know the mall location may seem a bit off but it's worth it. Anything I've had from here has been delicious. Beer on tap, the WINE, and our server gave us great recommendations AND brought us samples of the beers we wanted to taste to make sure we liked it before ordering. Calamari are a must have for me and these always hit. Yardhouse has also become one of my favorite places for a burger - never disappoints. I've tried pasta, tacos, fish and chips, the poke salad, plenty apps - they're all good. I will say because of the location the ambiance can get a little hectic sometimes. Crowds include business outings, families, adult couples, and friend groups. I've never had to wait longer than 15 for a table though. If you don't mind the noise and how live it is this is a great spot. Only downside is the parking since the mall is packed and it's not the only restaurant but they are open until basically 12am (later on weekends) which makes it a great late night dinner spot as well. read more

Saturday, 10/5/24: Birthday celebration (continued) for my 27 year old son. His siblings were in town from Miami and New Jersey so, OF COURSE, we had to celebrate! This is my 2nd time at this location and hubby and I have been to the one in Pioneer Place/Portland, Oregon (which is apparently, permanently closed now *tear*). Two thumbs up across the board. Honestly, I have nothing negative to say about this Yard House. Every time I come here, I enjoy a nice meal with my kid, and I don't feel like I break the bank. The happy hour deals are honestly a steal, and I receive pretty excellent service every time I come. Today, I came for happy hour, and it was packed, but I still was tended to by not only my server, Sonia, but also other members of the team, including managers, who made sure I had everything that I needed at all times. I have now had Sonia as a server twice. She goes above and beyond and does a really good job of making sure that you're taking care of, even while juggling tons of tables. Some of my favorites here are the poke nachos, lettuce, wraps, fries, of course, and my kid loves the pizza. Pro tip: put yourself on the waitlist ahead of time, even if it says there's no wait. I always do this and end up getting seated before the people who walk in, even when the online queue says that no one else is in line. When it's crowded, it can be a bit loud. However, it's a very casual vibe, and they often have the latest games on. I can't wait to come back for happy hour again. Lol. read more

My husband and I stopped in at Yard House on a beautiful Saturday afternoon waiting for an outdoor table. The ambiance was beautiful and the weather was amazing! The service lacked and has slightly dropped since the last time I visited which has been years and honestly, I feel like their quality of food has dropped a bit too. I was craving steak and the only options were 20 oz so we ended up getting 1 and splitting it and their tuna tare tare was good. I've been to this location several times and it's always very enjoyable. Parking is a little chaotic because they are attached to the mall. My family came here for dinner and luckily the have booths large enough to accommodate larger parties with children as well. We started off with two onion ring towers cause yes they are THAT good!!
