It's been over a decade since being at Maggianos but it was nice to have lunch there today. My family and I decided to order family style and it was so much damn food. So let me tell you what I enjoyed. I liked the shrimp scampi, spaghetti and meatballs, and the butter cake. I do think their food was good but I also can say that I have had better at authentic Italian restaurants. What was amazing was our service because the waiters were so attentive and very pleasant. I like the casual atmosphere, but the restaurant design is very polished. I did not sit at the bar, but I do like the way it's set up. I enjoyed my smoked old-fashioned so much that I got two. Family style dining leaves you with so much leftover food to take home.

Positive experience. Food was really good, and in very healthy portions. The restaurant is in the mall so there's ample free parking. The inside is nice, and matches every Maggiano setting, which you would expect from a national chain. Service was very good, and the server was very attentive, checking on us frequently. We started off with the fried zucchini, which was delicious. For my meal, I had rigatoni alla vodka, which I loved. My wife had the Famous Rigatoni D. Both meals were delicious, and very filling. Enough for two meals.

I must say that being from Texas and a frequent at Maggiano's that this location had me surprised. The ambiance at this location was incredible. We had the BEST server Nina and she seriously blew us away with her superior service. The cooks are doing an EXCELLENT job because my salmon was cooked to PERFECTION and we dine at some of the finest places. The dessert was also nicely plated and delicious. Please acknowledge Nina and your cooking staff. They're awesome and I will return!!!

Food is pending, but the bar guys are the hard working and super attentive and rocking service during this super busy season! Thanks!

DELIGHTFUL!! This place never lets us down. The frozen peach Bellinis are so refreshing and tasty. The fried zucchini is super crunchy and even better when topped with the delicious lemon aioli sauce it comes with. The Maggiano's salad with bacon, avocado, and blue cheese crumbles is definitely worth trying. Our server, Sonia, was wonderful.

If it's just you, the bar is nice. It is first come first serve. Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. Lively music playing the background. Perfect for a martini. I requested their Pomegranate Martini. Visually appealing & tastes delicious Bartender quickly asked if I would like water and bread. I declined the bread and ordered the Wagyu meatballs. Why not. They tasted sooo good. Creamy ricotta complements the light tomato taste.

The restaurant was nice we were there celebrating a retirement event. We were located in the back in their private room. The food was good some dishes could have used a bit more seasoning but others were seasoned very well depends on your taste buds. We had so many options the first course fried zucchini(breading taste like mozzarella sticks ) , chopped salad(olives, tomatoes, feta cheese peppers ) , crab cakes ( delicious very meaty nice breading and well seasoned), and tomato bruschetta The second course : salmon in a lemon sauce , shrimp Alfredo, chicken Marsala, and Meat Lasagna, Dessert: strawberry Cheesecake and Chocolate cake

Good thing we had a reservation because there was a wait when we got there around 6pm on a Saturday night. We also got a great booth by the window so we could people watch. Our waitress was very busy but she was able to get our meal and drink orders quickly. I know this is a chain restaurant but the food is much better than the average Olive Garden. My boyfriend and I split the caesar salad (and he liked the strong anchovy flavor of it). The house bread was warm and perfectly baked. My bf got the chicken parmigiana and I got the rigatoni D which is my go to. So yummy. We had the chocolate layered cake for dessert and it was a huge slice. It may have put us over the edge. We were so full. Lovely time there and great food. We'll be going back for sure.

Went on a Saturday night for a nice casual date, it was busy but we grabbed seats at the bar. Our bartenders were great, Jesse was super nice and friendly and made sure we were doing ok with food and drinks. We did the special of salad and pasta which was delicious. I got the maggiano's salad (not pictured) but was so filling. The pasta is a great size, enough for left overs! Would deff recommend and visit the great guys at the bar!

We typically go the Tysons location but decided to try Springfield located at Springfield Mall. Access to the restaurant can be through the mall entrance or the parking lot doors. The hostess greeted us immediately and we were seated. Our waitress was friendly, attentive and talkative. The chicken piccata was decent; however, lacked flavor. I have found that there is usually a more robust lemon flavor in this dish at other Italian restaurants. We will most likely go back and try other entrees.

The food here is decent. I wouldn't say it's spectacular, it gets the job done. The service was wonderful, our server was attentive and kind. There is ample seating in the dining room and at the bar, plus they have the best after dinner mints. I had the chicken marsala, it was decent, it did not reheat well the next day. This is something one should eat in one sitting. It was a big portion. My side salad was really good. I would return to try other items on the menu.

Dear Maggiano's, please offer me a coupon, or buy one get one free. That would be a dream come true. All jokes aside I really enjoy this, and all of their locations. Haven't been to Italy, but have heard people I respect, say that this is extremely close. Works for me, as service is top notch. You can see they train their folks well, and it's an ideal setting for a date or get together. The ambiance is upscale but relaxed, and well thought out. During peak times make reservations. Best meals are chicken parmigiana or lasagna. Next want to try chicken Marsala, but will continue to feast on these delicious entrees. Tiramisu is beyond tasty. Their eye on appearance and huge generous portions, guarantee you won't go home hungry. Is it a bit expensive? Sure but far better than the Olive Garden. You get what you pay for, and each visit here has been exceptional. Kudos to the management and staff, and now to hit the treadmill once again. In all seriousness well done!

    To go pasta photo

Today we visited the LEGO Center and then decided to eat at Maggiano's Little Italy in Springfield. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. We had to wait almost 30 minutes just to get our food on the table. At one point, I honestly felt like they were ordering our food from another restaurant . My wife ordered a vegetarian pasta, I ordered chicken marsala, and for our kid we ordered pizza. Other than the pizza, none of the food tasted like Italian food at all. On top of that, there was a very strange smell coming from both dishes. Because of this, we couldn't even eat 20% of our meals. We were ready to leave the food on the table, but the waiter insisted that we take it to go. Overall, this was not the experience we expected. Please check the photo below.

I visited this restaurant unexpectedly after being invited by a friend, so I arrived casually dressed in jeans and a plain shirt, not realizing it was a more formal, reservation-based establishment. Upon arrival, I noticed most guests were predominantly white and dressed in business casual or formal attire. Our server, Yoko, initially seated us and provided water and bread. However, after briefly stepping away for about three minutes to use the restroom, we returned to find our table completely cleared, despite the fact that we had just been seated and had not even touched the bread. This was confusing and frustrating. Yoko apologized and reseated us, but I could barely hear her. So, I asked her directly if she assumed if we left and she said yes. While I appreciate the apology, the situation felt presumptive and uncomfortable. Given that we had only been seated for a few minutes with minimal interaction, the assumption that we had left seemed unwarranted. Whether intentional or not, the experience came across as judgmental, from our casual attire. I also felt the establishment being racist because we were the only dark tanned and Asian Americans here. Yoko offered complimentary dessert as an apology, which I initially appreciated. However, when I followed up later, the offer became unclear. Instead of being able to choose from the menu, we were given a small portion of cake and ice cream to go. The dessert was underwhelming in both presentation and taste, falling short of expectations for a restaurant at this price point. The cake was similar to a low-quality dessert of any budget friendly buffets I have been to. As for the food, it did not meet expectations. While the cheese wheel dish appeared authentic, it lacked depth of flavor beyond just salt and pepper. The candied bacon mac and penne alla vodka were similarly bland. The calamari stood out as the best dish--light and crispy--while the arancini was disappointing, with a filling that tasted processed rather than fresh. Overall, the experience was disappointing. Between the initial service issue and the underwhelming food, the restaurant did not justify its pricing or reputation. I would not recommend dining here, particularly if you are expecting attentive service and high-quality cuisine. Save your money and go to Olive Garden instead.

We were seated by the window with a wonderful view and some nice relaxing music playing for atmosphere. We were greeted by our server Seth, who explained to us the menu and suggested we try their Short Rib Pizza. We ordered some Tuscan Chicken wings with Garlic and Parm on them as our appetizer. While waiting he brought us out some bread and their olive oil mixture. Wings showed up just as we finished our bread (great timing). Wings were hot and fresh and crispy just as expected. Just as we finished up our wings our pizza was brought out. Let me tell you, I love pizza and have eaten all over the Northern Va area, and this is by far one of the best pizza's I've ever had. The crust was light and crispy, but strong enough to hold up to the cheese, meat and caramelized onions. If I hadn't ordered wings, I could have eaten the whole pizza myself, it was that good. We were full after that and got our desserts to go, Chocolate cake and Tiramisu to have later at home. The Bad The Rolls - the rolls were plain and barely warm and didn't contribute to the fantastic olive oil combo they present you. They can improve in this area easily The Wings - I couldn't taste the garlic or parm on my wings, they have other options like buffalo and sweet chili so we will have to try those next time. The Good Service - Seth was fantastic, answering all our questions, providing ideas on the best menu items and kept checking on us even though he was running the bar. Can not compliment him enough. Pizza - again, THE BEST, I would highly recommend this to anybody making their first trip here. Atmosphere - was cozy and comforting, very different then most places you go for dinner, I mean who has couches for a place to sit and eat :) All in all, we were both very impressed that we signed up for their rewards program which Seth added the $10 discount to our meal right there on the spot. We will be going back again, and this time I want to try their Short Rib Dinner, if it's anything like the short rib we had on our pizza, it's going to be delicious.
