Good egg rolls (lot of meat filling and tender)

Fortunately if you live in Springfield or thereabouts, you do not need to drive to Eden to get good Vietnamese food. Brothers Bistro is located in Springfield Plaza near Springfield Town Center and serve a decent variety of Vietnamese dishes. Service is great and more importantly, food taste great. Their Vietnamese coffee is wonderfully strong with just the right amount of sweetness. We haven't tried all their dishes but so far, enjoyed what we've had in all our visits. My go-to is the Shaky Beef with fried rice which is served with tender beef, Chinese sausage and an egg over the fried rice. Their hot pot is good but not AYCE. Definitely recommended if you want good Vietnamese cuisine.

unique food options you dont usually see at other vietnamese restaurants. mom got the coconut snails and pan fried noodles. the service was super friendly n felt like you were a part of the family. very casual ambiance similar to most other modern vietnamese places around the area.

Brothers Bistro offers an impressively large menu with over 100 options featuring both classic and unique Vietnamese dishes. As someone who was raised on authentic, homemade Vietnamese food, I tend to go in with pretty high expectations. The atmosphere: Beautifully decorated interior with a spacious dining area--great for both small and larger groups. The food: I ordered the deep-fried chicken wings (Cánh Gà Chiên), which were perfectly crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. They come with a side of fish sauce, although they were delicious even without it. I also tried the Phở Brothers Đặc Biệt. The broth was rich and tasty, but I wish it came with more meat. I only had a few pieces in my bowl. The service: Friendly and attentive staff all around.

Found a new Vietnamese spot in Springfield for all my cravings! My friend and I came for lunch and shared the banh hoi combo brothers and the banh xeo with shrimp. Love the presentation of both and they really load you up with vegetables here! No skimping! The banh hoi platter was very good - there was one meat that wasn't our favorite. Not sure what it was. Looked like spam but wasn't. Everything else was delicious. The banh xeo was crispy but skimpy on the shrimp. Definitely loaded up on the mung bean. Wish it had bigger shrimp or at least not thinly sliced. We felt like we were eating a vegetarian banh xeo. Will definitely be back to try more dishes when in the area!

I ordered the dry noodle, and unfortunately it was too sweet for my liking, the sauce mix just didn't work for me. The meat toppings also didn't taste very fresh, which was disappointing. I also didn't like that the condiments weren't readily available on the table and had to be requested each time. I've also tried their pho and bun bo hue. The pho had a solid flavor (not the best but can fix ur cravings), and the bun bo hue is just okay. I've definitely had better elsewhere. Overall, while some dishes are passable, I think the flavor and quality could be improved.

Oh. My. God. I don't know how I'll go to any other Vietnamese restaurant in the future because this one blew my mind. The ambiance is so peaceful, the space is clean, the staff is professional and kind, but the star of the show is the food. The menu is very extensive and at first, it's a little overwhelming, but let me assure you that anything you choose on the menu is going to be a hit. My family and I tried many different dishes and have not been disappointed by a single one! My heart, though, belongs to the Bò lúc lắc. This shaking beef is SO INCREDIBLY TENDER you will never want to eat at a steakhouse ever again. I crave it every day, no joke. All the food is so flavorful, satiating, but not heavy at all since all dishes are served with lots of greens and veggies. The chefs here really know what they're doing and this place has me as a loyal customer

Seafood clay pot and beef spring rolls

Thrilled to find this superb Vietnamese restaurant in Springfield Plaza (next to Halal Guys). This is now the third excellent eatery in that plaza along with Bob and Ediths and Hot Peppercorn! Walls are nicely decorated with traditional art, and nice that there are lots of windows. I ordered the seafood clay pot and was pleasantly surprised that the rice was crispy like you get with dolsot bibimbap. Nice array of flavors. My wife got the spring rolls that you wrap yourself after dipping the sheet in water - that was a new experience for us! Those were yummy, she got the ones with beef skewers. We also had the fried spring rolls appetizer which were crispy and delicious. Great service, friendly staff. Will be back for sure

We returned to give the food another try, and it did not disappoint. Everything we ordered was full of flavor and absolutely delicious. Our server, Huy, made the experience even better--he was friendly, professional, and recommended a fantastic noodle dish that we loved. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

We had a good experience at Brother Bistro. I ordered the Hu Tieu Nam Vang and my husband got the Com Tam. Both were tasty and satisfying. The server was very friendly and attentive, which we really appreciated. Overall, good food and great service. We'd definitely come back to try more dishes.

We had a hankering for Vietnamese food and wanted to try a place we had not before. Walking into the place, we liked the decor - had a fairly distinctly modern look, and plenty of seating available. we were greeted and could sit down anywhere. They speak Vietnamese here so feel free to order in that or English if you prefer. Or point to the great pictures in their menu - which is very beautiful. Our food came out pretty quickly and really hot the spot - definitely get the dac biet versions of what you want!

Ambiance was very nice and welcoming. The service was fast and prompt and the food was not only really big portions but high quality! This will be my go to Viet spot from now on! Recommendation: Banh Xeo Dac Biet

My family's new favorite place to eat in Springfield! This place has delicious Vietnamese Food at a price that's competitive to other local Vietnamese restaurants in the area. Upon walking in, the décor is nothing new if you have ever been to a Vietnamese Restaurant. Very plain colored walls surround the area with Vietnamese music playing the background. It's something to expect but the music is very calming. The menu is extensive and covered to popular dishes like Pho, Bo Luc Lac, Bún bò Huế, Cơm tấm, Banh xeo, and many more. We started off with Chả Giò which is pretty much Spring Rolls with Ground Pork, Crab Meat, Shrimp served with fish sauce and vegetables. It was pretty delicious and it came out fast too! What I got for this visit is Cơm Tấm Đặc Biệt. It's like a special rice dish with a grilled pork chop, shrimp paste fried in a tofu wrap, a fried egg, shredded pork, a shrimp roll on chinese sausage, and of course more vegetables with fish sauce. It is absolutely my favorite and it's just best if you pour all the fish sauce. Adds extra unami to your dish. It was delicious! I can't say much about the service because the server was able to take our order quickly but we knew what we wanted. They did refill our water cups numerous times so I do think it's a plus. Would I recommend this place? Absolutely. It is always delightful to try more Vietnamese food in my hometown! Check this place out if you are in Springfield!

Brothers Bistro is one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants. I have been here a couple of times. Their service and ambiance were decent. They offer a wide range of authentic Vietnamese dishes. Their prices were reasonable and their portions were good. I tried these dishes and they were tasty. #19 Com tam dac biet - special combo on rice # 52 Bun dac biet - grilled pork/shrimp/spring rolls with vermicelli noodles # 66 Banh hoi combo - grilled pork and seafood with lettuce and rice paper wrap. We plan to come back soon to try other dishes.

Ordered a large variety of dim sum, a salt and pepper pork chop dish, and a whole Peking duck! Everything came out hot and fresh so no complaints there. Let's talk taste though... Peking duck was just ok, very dark in color and did not have that authentic taste. I would not recommend this place for their Peking duck. Even the wrappers had a weird taste the fried salt and pepper pork chops lacked both salt and pepper! The dim sum was again just ok, like if you need your fix and didn't feel like driving too far, then here is fine. Service was great and food came out pretty fast. My one star off is for taste and authenticity, prob a non Chinese would find this place great.

The sesame noodles were just lo mein noodles with a tiny drizzle of sauce and a few sesame seeds, no real flavor except dough. The Chongqing chicken had some pieces that were refrigerator-level cold, the chiles had just been dumped on top and not stir-fried with the chicken, and there were zero Sichuan peppercorns, so not mala at all. The chicken fried rice and the scallion pancakes were overcooked, and there was no sauce with the pancakes. Asked for utensils and hot oil, received neither.

After a few minutes of waiting at the door, we decided to sit ourselves down. Few minutes later we were handed menus, not by an employee but a customer..mind you, it wasn't busy at all (about 4 tables) We were greeted by our server shortly after and her energy and vibe was just not it. A bit of an attitude and felt extremely rushed. We ordered a large seafood pho and a small with egg noodles. The large seafood pho looked pretty delicious , but unfortunately looks can be deceiving. The broth wasn't flavorful at all. Just tasted like water with a hint of beef flavoring. The shrimp and fish cakes were rubbery, and the fishballs were still cold. THE DEAL: Sit down service and you can basically pick your table. FOOD & DRINKS: We shared a nice piping hot pot of tea which is perfect for warming the winter soul and started off with some crispy eggrolls. They were hot, crispy, and delish served with lettuce, carrots, and daikon radish and of course, a sweet-and-sour dipping sauce. Hubs got the wonton soup, which was a full-size bowl like a pho, and it was incredibly delicious. The broth had so much depth and flavor and the pork was just tender as can be and the shrimp was perfectly cooked too and it was served with a side pho like accoutrements. I got the Buddha's Delight which is sautéed veggies and tofu and it was served with a side of white rice. The veggies were beautifully cooked al dente, the tofu was superb and the flavor of the sauce was delish! AMBIANCE: The restaurant decor is like going back in time with old laminate table tops and an almost cafeteria like feel but comfortable. We did have an annoying diner right behind us who was by himself and had his phone on speaker and was listening and watching videos as loud as could be and PSA people do that on your own time not on others lol!!!
