When the bartender arrived to take our order we requested a Moscow Mimosa, my partner said you could feel the heat as it traveled down his throat. For food, we order the combination, pizza and salad and sausage and feta and a Caesar salad and a lamb gyro with french fries. The lamb gyro was open face. He opted to eat it with a knife and fork, since it was so large. The pizza had no sauce on it and had way too much feta cheese. If there was some sauce to compliment the pizza, it would have probably been better. The Caesar dressing should've been served on the side because it was doused with it. I would definitely order something different the next time if there is the next time I come back to this restaurant and it was only one serving for the bar and the tables at this time since I was a little slow. I visited this restaurant for the first time. I highly recommend it. Upon arrival the first thing we noticed was the clean smell. It smelled like it had been freshly cleaned. The waiter we had was excellent. I ordered one of his recommendations and it was a hit. The portions are generous and the prices for four people was surprisingly affordable. Came with a party of 8 to celebrate my husband's birthday. We originally tried for yard house but no luck so we thought we would try Maggie's and didn't expect much. We were wrong! Maggie's is good! In fact it's a lot like yard house or Cheesecake Factory but without the long wait. What I really appreciated was the service we received and how patient they were with our family (including toddlers and toddler-like adults). Food wise they have something for everyone and the consensus was "good!" For just about every dish. Their menu is pretty accommodating to a variety of dietary needs which is always appreciated. This is a totally understated spot in the Springfield town center area. Good to go with a group where everybody needs and wants something different -- I bet everybody finds something to eat here. So i normally LOVE Maggie's, but tonight was SO off. First off, we ordered after waiting 15 minutes for our waiter to come back and take our order. There were 4 other people besides me & my partner, & 3 waiters available. My partner is GF (gluten free) & Maggie's is known for having a GF dedicated fryer. So we placed our order, for Southern fried chicken (GF), fried picked (GF) & chicken wings (GF). Within 5 minutes they came back and stated that the GF fryer had broken and they were unable to make anything fried. So I will say I'll give this place another try! Me and my friend came off the fly...get it! Lol. But we decided to try them out during happy hour. They had a selection of happy hour drinks and apps to choose from. I decided on an apple peach martini. Both were made strong and really good! Great job bartender. I also got an order or chicken potstickers for an appetizer and they were so good! Had a spicy sauce and I believe soy sauce to dip. Should have gotten 2-orders one to take home as well. So main dish was chicken and waffles that came with some weird bacon gray on the side...yuck! I don't eat the swine so I made sure that that was nowhere near my food. I went to Maggie Mcfly's with my s/o, since he came here a few weeks back with coworkers and wanted me to try it. We came in around mid-afternoon (past lunch, before dinner), but still had to wait 20 minutes to get seated. It seemed like it was fairly busy for the time we got there. We started off with the fried pickles. I loved how thin the pickles were but unfortunately, the batter seemed a little salty for my taste. Good temperature on the pickles though. I ended up ordering the Louisiana Chicken Pasta- this dish is delicious- crispy thin cutlets of chicken (extremely generous portions for that matter), along with bell pepper, parmesan, and cheesy tortellini. Great flavors and very rich. My s/o ended up getting the Cuban sandwich. As much as I wanted to like this (because I love Cubanos), but it wasn't put together well. One side of the sandwich was all ham, while the other was all pulled pork? One pickle on one half, two on the other. And the bun was not pressed which I feel like made the sandwich too airy. Carrot cake ended up being pretty good and at a great price compared to places like Outback Steakhouse. Loved the flavors and really liked the textures of the nuts and raisins. Solid 3/5. I was looking forward to trying this place since it's one of the few restaurants I haven't tried yet at Springfield Town Center, so I had a very neutral expectation going into this. Sad to say, I was quite disappointed with about everything but the service. The Food: Before settling down on my entree of choice, I had to go through one humongous menu with a variety of different entrees to choose from. It was honestly quite overwhelming, and had a variety of different foods from about every cuisine you can think of. From American fare to Asian, from Mexican to Italian. They literally have it all. For my entree, I went with a popular dish I saw on Yelp, the "Bang Bang Shrimp and Chicken". The dish was familiar to a Thai Coconut Curry, which wasn't all that bad to be honest. But it was very much mediocre at best. I also had the "Eggplant Fries and a "French Onion Soup". Eggplant fries had no taste of eggplants and the the French onion soup was not bad. I would say the French onion soup was the highlight. The Service: The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. We had a party of 5 and our server was very attentive with checking up on us and with water refills! The wait time to get food out was at a good pace so no complaints on that. Overall, I will not be coming back to this restaurant. I could've spent money elsewhere that would've had better value. Solid 3/5 for the food, 5/5 for the service. read more

What a great restaurant! I had never been here before but was with a group from a local meetup group and attended a dinner with them. First off, their menu is extremely large and it took me a while to narrow down the menu choices as there were so many things that sounded good. I opted to have the seafood paella and that proved to be a good choice. I love paella in general and this came out in a huge cast-iron skillet. I'm a connoisseur of paella and this was one of the best I've ever had, including cooking it for myself. The spices, onions, peppers, and mounds of seafood with the rice made it tasty. I opted to eat half and take the other half home for another meal. I look forward to trying some other dish the next time, but if you like seafood paella, I highly recommend giving theirs a try sometime in the future. I'll definitely be back!! read more

BLUF: okay food, but poor service on several levels I have been here twice before and had a mediocre experience each time. This time was actually a little worse. To begin with, we planned to go there for Mother's Day brunch. Looking online, you see the suggestion to make a reservation. So I called to make a reservation only to be told by the woman who answered that they don't take reservations on the weekend. I hang up and call back and get a different person who takes my reservation Another odd thing is that their Mother's Day brunch basically includes everything but brunch. They have a brunch every weekend, but for some reason on Mother's Day they decided not to have a bunch at all and simply offer a small menu of two quiches, waffles, and a breakfast sandwich. So they're advertisement says come for Mother's Day brunch, then says "excluding brunch." We arrive at the restaurant at our reservation time. The place is nearly empty. We are seated and there's no breakfast items on the menu. I go up to the front desk to find that there's a Mother's Day menu there that was supposed to be given to us when we went to our table but no one thought to do so. Throughout our meal the service was quite slow. The individual people were friendly but it was clear that they really didn't know how to treat customers. When you consider that at least 80% of the place was empty it's not like there was a lot of demand on their time. I went to an entire meal without ever having my water glass filled or even being asked if I wanted it filled. A simple breakfast cocktail took 10 minutes to come out. On to the food. The Belgian waffle dish was actually very good, with some nice fresh fruit and whipped cream. The goat cheese quiche, which sounded great on the menu, was actually pretty flavorless. Probably most noticeable was the scintilla of flavor of goat cheese. I don't think it even warranted being called a goat cheese quiche. The highlight of the dish was actually the side salad, which was tasty with a nice mix of greens and well-dressed. The ham and egg breakfast sandwich was good, but no better than you could get at about any breakfast place. I don't plan to go back there unless I'm with someone who for some reason wants to go there. I come here pretty often and I enjoy the large menu because it does give you a variety. It's next to a man and several other restaurants so there's a huge parking lot but it can get pretty busy so finding parking close can be difficult sometimes. We waited a couple minutes before being sat in the bar booth area, I imagine because we came here around 8 PM. I tried the Fit Wine Chardonnay they had [9 oz] and it was surprisingly not bad. A little lighter than a normal chardonnay but I enjoyed it. For the appetizers, we ordered the Buffalo Cauliflower and the Fried Pickles. Loved the Buffalo Cauliflower, a good crisp and very flavorful. The Fried pickles were a little lacking in flavor. Very crispy but I felt as if the batter was plain and was missing seasoning. I ordered a Thai Chicken Salad subbed with Spinach instead of Mixed Greens and my boyfriend ordered the Teriyaki Bowl with Shrimp instead of Chicken and lettuce instead of brown rice. The salad was indeed a Giant Salad and was pretty good - I liked that they put the dressing on the side. The Teriyaki Bowl was very watery but it was pretty good. The lettuce and everything was sitting on top of watery Teriyaki broth almost. They gave about 5 decent sized shrimp for the substitution. Unfortunately, our second time at this restaurant wasn't as pleasant as the first. We ordered a Waygu beef burger with asparagus and Garage burger (name on menu) with truffle fries. The waygu burger was cooked perfectly and overall delicious. We ordered the garage burger WITHOUT bacon and pickles, and added jalapeño. Sadly to say the burger came out with bacon. After we notified them this they tried to just take the bacon off. I honestly feel as though this isn't good practice regardless of what the ingredient is so we requested a new burger. We felt as though it was the same burger due to temperature but then realized it had no jalapeños. Stopped here on New Year's Eve to watch a college football game. Chose the spot based on the setup, decor and ambiance. Really liked the stools at the bar. However, they didn't have the sound on, so that was a bit of a damper. Sports fans, take note: they only turn the sound on for really big games or events. I think one of the servers said they didn't have sound for the World Cup. But perhaps they do for NFL games on Sundays. Didn't have anything from the menu, so can't speak to that. Such a fun place! Came here twice in the past two weeks. Once to celebrate a birthday with a group of ten. We sat outside under the heat lamps and our waitress was wonderful with handling all our drink requests throughout our dinner. I love that they offer a variety of flights, mules and margaritas in addition to beer and wines! They come out so cute and we're really tasty! The portions and cuisine are what you would expect from an american mall restaurant. Large and a huge variety so there is something for everyone. I ended up getting an appetizer tower to share and it was basic, but delicious! I don't remember a stand out dish for anyone, but I do know we enjoyed the drinks more than anything. My second time was for happy hour which was offered throughout the restaurant. They have local beers on tap as well as discounts on fun "electric" cocktails! I ordered some Truffle Fries for the table and the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken as my entrée. Both orders came out pretty much exactly as I'd expected; not the worst I've had but not the best either. It's a tricky act to have this varied of a menu and to pull off these dishes at a high level.
