My first time visiting here! Loved the atmosphere soon as I walked in as the music played , the different arcade games offered to play (also lasertag) and the open seating area to sit at the bar or around the bar. Had a pleasure of being served by Ms. Syn! She was amazing from beginning to end, having amazing customer service and being so nice! The food was great as well as the drinks! Had a great time & will be coming back! Can't wait to come here for happy hour!

Went with a large group last night for happy hour. Really good bites on the menu. I had the chicken sliders with fries. I enjoyed it. Ask for some mayo on the sliders or some type of sauce. But the chicken was seasoned well. Also, I had a bottle of wine because they had 50% off bottles until 9pm. Not bad at all! Shared with my group! I will definitely return. Also, the staff were amazing! Very friendly!

Came here for a fun family day and we had a blast. The arcade is small but the games that were working were fun. I do wish they had more games working but it was a good time. We ate at the restaurant inside and the wings were ehhhh but the burger was amazing sooo juicy and my son loved the fries. The margarita was good and the service was really good our server was really nice.

Went to Doyle's Outpost for a friend's kid's birthday party on a Saturday afternoon. The place was busy with multiple other parties going on simultaneously, but the arcade is big enough to find an open console; so it was still fun. I didn't play laser tag, but they appear to have two bays and the kids said it was fun. You can see inside the laser tag area on one of the TVs by the door. The bar area was decent. A good selection of drink options and QR code menu to make it easier than trying to read the two large menu screens that are constantly changing above the bar. The food was also good for a bar type menu. The staff was pleasant. Game prices seem reasonable. I would come back. Thanks!

My rating would be a 3.5/5 - arcade / laser tag / bar Came here with my boyfriend for a last minute date night. FYI - FIRST TIMERS CAN DO A GAME OF LASER TAG FOR FREE (+a guest).... You can find the voucher on their website!) We started off at the bar and had drinks then went off to play laser tag. It was just me and him in the arena but we had so much fun. Afterwards, we decided to play in the arcade - they really only have the minimum of games and just like all the reviews say, most are not even working. We definitely regret getting as many credits as we did but we still made the most out of it and had fun!! ALSO... if you plan on getting tickets for prizes, I get really have a small selection of prizes. We ended up just getting like a few things of candy Honest say- don't come for the arcade. I think you'd get the best experience coming here with a group, having a few drinks and laughs then heading into laser tag. Saw a lot of negative reviews regarding service but we had no problems at all with any of the workers. In fact, the bartenders were very attentive and the other workers were as well.

Main factor of coming here was the big screens advertised in the yelp pictures for sports. Ordered wings and a beer, both were decent. Over all it was low key and the service was great at the bar but the pictures were misleading. It was much smaller than I thought. We didn't play any of the games but the children there were having a ball. This would be a perfect place for people with kids that want to watch a sporting event while keeping them busy with games. .

Thankfully, we stumbled upon Joe Theismann's Restaurant because there was a heat wave, and we didn't want to spend any more time outside than necessary. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted, seated right away, and given menus. Our waitress introduced herself, offered recommendations for appetizers and entrées, and even convinced us to try one of their signature drinks. We started with the Broiled Chesapeake Crab Dip, and it was really tasty. It was rich and cheesy, with generous chunks of crab throughout. It was so good that we easily could have ordered another bowl! For our entrée, we shared the Chicken Louisiana. It had chicken, sausage, and shrimp with peppers and onions in a Cajun sauce served over rice. Now this dish was really delicious. It arrived hot and tasted freshly made to order. We even noticed the table next to us ordered the same thing. I can't remember the exact name of the martini I ordered, but it was very light and refreshing and perfect for a hot summer day. The restaurant itself is spacious, with a large bar, plenty of seating, and TVs throughout. Overall, we had a good dining experience. Whenever we're back in the D.C. area, we'll definitely make a point to stop by again.

The layout kinda reminds me of Toki Underground on H St. The ambiance was that of a regular bar, but with Chicago sports teams all over the ceiling & walls. I must say the sandwich was meh mainly due to the giardiniera not being spicy nor oily (it was vinegary but not truly pickled then sat in oil at the minimum for the classic Chicago styled giardiniera), and the au ju/ seasoned beef gravy tasted like regular cheap beef broth, not the unique flavor it's most notably known for. The bread was not the correct French roll typically used for the sandwich to soak up the juices. I noticed that there was no option to make it an "Italian beef combination sandwich" to add an Italian sausage link. It also was not double dipped in the au ju/ seasoned beef gravy. The sandwich tasted nothing like the original Chicago Italian beef sandwich. It was a bit of a let down because I had high hopes, but I also understand that sometimes, things will not taste the same outside of the place/ region it originated at. The only things I did like was how toasty/ fresh the roll was despite it not being the classic French roll. While I think the place is pretty okay, I do hope they can attempt to perfect the sandwich or at least come much closer to having it being truly Chicago styled. As someone with deep Chicago roots, I was disappointed and it felt like low-effort with failure to tap into potential they know is there.

Food is OK quality and prices are reasonable if not inexpensive on their specials, like the steak and ribs for only $25. Good flavor and cooked ok but a nice combo for the price. Service is OK with some wait staff being more efficient than others. There were some who knew their customers by name and took time out to talk with them but that slowed down service a little for the rest of us. Nothing too bad but you might wait a bit for refills or something you need after your food or drinks arrive. We had cool fries and it took a bit for the staff to come back to our table to check in the dining room. Similar response time for wait staff outside when we needed condiments that were ordered but didn't come out with our entrees. Cigar menu is an ok selection where there is something for everyone; however, our experience was the place ran out of the first four cigars we selected and each time the wait staff had to come back to our table to tell us they were out of that cigar. Wait staff didn't know what cigars were in stock and which they were out of. Overall, very good experience for both inside the dining area and outside where you can smoke. Recommend The Bungalow Lakehouse as it is a good experience and has a variety of experience options.

The choices were: outside, the sports bar, or the dining room. We chose the dining room. A large group of people was sitting at a table. We were given a booth by the window and right by the server's station. Looking over the menu at home, we both decided that we would get a bacon cheeseburger. The entrees seemed, to us, to be too filling. The bacon cheeseburger consists of: "100% angus burger, apple-wood smoked bacon, vermont white cheddar, canadian cheddar, sliced tomato, and crispy leaf lettuce". We both ordered it cooked medium. The dish comes with fries. To drink, I had ginger ale while my husband had a Heineken 00. Our server was friendly and efficient. He made a mistake, bringing my husband a Coke instead of the beer. My husband corrected him. He apologized and retrieved the correct drink. The burger was dry and overcooked. It was more on the medium well side. In one way, I didn't mind that as I didn't end up with greasy hands or a burger that falls apart. The bacon and the cheese provided some relief from the dryness. The fries came out hot, which we appreciated. All in all, it was an OK experience; we would consider going again sometime.
