Some reason, we don't frequent Five Guys as much as the other burger establishments. But sure am glad to revisit this experience as it was delicious! The menu is not extensive, but the options are just enough to have a pleasant dining experience. The made-to-order burgers are tasty with many options for toppings. I opted for mushrooms and jalapenos, which hit the spot! The fries are very generous even for the smallest option. Add a little malt vinegar and it was perfect! This location is very friendly and the service is fast. There were plenty of seats available and parking is shared among the shopping center. Will definitely be back for more! Enjoy!

    skimpy $10.31 Five-Guys burger

Restaurant is clean; well-maintained, nice atmosphere. I had a bad Five-Guys Burger here and a bad experience, both instances unique to this store. I like my burgers "messy," which means extra lettuce, onions, tomato, healthy stuff; while ordering, I joke with the cashier making a facial and hand gesture of a messy burger and expect some humor in the display. This particular cashier had no humor, and when I got the burger, it was like too many others, slight in portions of all condiments - 1 small leaf of lettuce, 3 squished sliced pickles, 1 jalapeno slice, slight mayonnaise, no onion. They seem to be counting the pennies at this store. This overpriced burger cost $10.31. I have attached a picture of a smaller Wendy's burger, given the same "messy" description, and I found it a value at $3.99. This Five-Guys burger was a bad value and lacked what I asked for. As I was leaving, I felt obliged to share my opinion with the manager, and she argued as if to "win," that her employees needed to hear the word "extra" to correctly service the order. I was asking for no renumeration, but expected a "thank you, and sorry you did not enjoy your meal," but what I heard was "attitude" and "push back" that this "skimpy" burger at $10.31 had the standard portions of condiments. This is the most expensive burger in this area; one of the worst; with unfriendly service. There are other Five-Guys that do offer a superior product that deserve your business. By the way, the standard at fast-food restaurants seems to offer internet, but Five-Guys does not. By the way, a regular drink is $3.59, higher than standard, and water is served in a small .5 oz cup. After a $10.31 burger, I want a water-cup that services the meal. I was not impressed with this particular restaurant.

These were the pickles that were in the burger.

Ordered 2 cheese burgers. One only mayo and the other one was only tomato, lettuce, mayo and ketchup. My burger with mayo was fine but they put pickles on my fiancées burger. She very sensitive to sulfite so she absolutely never eats pickles as they make her face puff up and swell. Unfortunately they put pickles in her burger for some reason? Because mine was fine and she took a bite into it and instantly spit it out and went running to the sink to wash her face/mouth. I called the restaurant and the employees didn't care, I could hear the manager in the background speaking in Spanish telling the employee to just hang up on me. Bet he didn't know I spoke Spanish. I asked for his managers name and the employee says "uhh I don't know my managers name" and then says "I think it's Marc?" And then he goes sorry and hangs up... I've never experienced that before at any place so definitely ain't coming back here

12/27/22 On 12/21/22 5 Guys was on my mind yesterday. As a matter of fact, it was on my mind for the past week. Yesterday I decided to have some Cheese Hotdogs with grilled onions. The store wasn't very busy, but I did see some tables with left over peanut shells on a table. I spoke to the manager on duty Axel J, or at least that is who was using the register earlier. The prices have indeed gone up, but the food smelled good. Evidently I was pretty hungry. Unfortunately after ordering two cheese hot dogs with grilled onions, I saw the orders came out wrong. Moreover tje food made me sick. I called the same night tree times and two times I got no answer. Between the first and third call some one picked up the phone and did not say a word. This past Friday I spoke to two managers who were not very helpful. I did not wish to eat more food that could possibly make me sick again and the manager would not do a refund. I highly recommend not eating here unless you want to be feel nauseated and shit diarrhea all day long. I am seriously considering letting OSHA know about this.

Reception area - ordering at right; pickup at left.

When you're hungry for a burger, Five Guys is really satisfying. Getting a little cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, onion, and ketchup with a side order of fries will put you in a food coma. This branch was not busy on a Saturday at 2pm when my 16 year old son and I came here for lunch after his baseball game. Since I could not place an online order while driving, we entered the restaurant to place our order and only waited about 10 minutes. There are tables for indoor dining, but most people seem to place takeout orders. The reception area is well-organized with the right side for placing orders and the left side for pickups. I would say that it's important to keep your order simple and straightforward. If you buy a drink, the soda foundation machines give you a tremendous selection of beverages. This location in Merrifield has a large parking lot, but access to the shopping plaza is limited to a single entry point with a traffic light on Gallows Road. During peak times, I would imagine it gets backed up with cars in a long line. If you are heading north on Gallows Rd. (away from Route 50), it's possible to pass through the nearby gas station and exit there to make a right turn. The only downside of Five Guys is that the delicious scent of burgers and fries will occupy your car, which can make you even more hungry as you drive home!

I love the vibe of this location and the people are always nice and quick. The food is always quality, the Cajun fries are the best!

Excellent service, good food, and friendly staff. This is one of the larger Five Guys.

Attached photo is my receipt which proves my patronage.

Burger was a serious amount of food- by default it came with two patties. "Little" fries seemed more than generous amount, super tasty! Milkshake was wonderful. Yeah, it's pricey compared to fast food, but it is what it is.

There is free parking and the parking is right next to the fast food restaurant. Our visit was Tuesday July 4,2023. When you are driving up to Five Guys. You just see a lot of other food places and shopping options. You walk into the store, You have your line of the left and a seating indoor option on the right. As you make your way to the cashier, You order you food. They have burgers, hot dogs, fries etc. when you are ordering your food, You get to pick what is on your burger. They have a lot of options to put on your burger. After you done with you burger or hot dog, You can add a side like fries and a drink or even a milkshake. After you order is done then you wait for your food and enjoy the meal when it's finish from the inside or bring it on a go. The staff was friendly and very nice. They was really busy to interact with. You can tell they was working really hard. The cashier had a great smile and can really enjoy their job. We didn't have any issue with the staff members. The place was really clean. As we was waiting for our food. The manager even came and ask the crew member to clean the area. You can tell they are serious about being clean at Five Guys. The bathrooms was also clean. They did a good job being clean and very fresh during our visit. The food was delicious! The fries was seasoned very well and the burger was very tasty. I ordered the bacon burger with barbecue sauce, mayo, jalapeños, cheese and fried onions. As you bite right into the burger, you can taste how delicious and well cooked the meat was. It was definitely a good burger but we did spend $36.68 for two burgers and fries and to me that's really high. I understand inflation and that's the restaurant is in a high living area but the price was kinda outrageous. We did waited about 18 minutes for our burgers and fries. The place was not that busy either. The area is definitely safe. You are in a good area to go to this Five Guys. We felt safe the entire time we was there. The Five Guys was great and very professional. They was clean and very maintained. They did amazing job. Yes the food is pricy but we do recommend this location. Overall 4.7/5

Easy to order. To maximize value, order the "Little" burgers (1 patty) vs. Regular (patties) and small fries ( feeds 2 easily). The fries are hand cut and fried in house with potatoes from Idaho. The best potatoes in the world in taste and texture. My uncle is an agriculture professor in Idaho so he told me so. Beef is fresh and so are the veggies. I almost order all the veg to creat a side salad. A little vinegar as salad dressing. These burgets IMO are better than Shack Shake and better value as you get more food for the money. It is pricey but once in a while, treat yourself. The staff is always friendly.

It's not the easiest place to find if you're not familiar with the mall. I had to park in the garage and then call the restaurant to see where they were located. The person I spoke with was delightful. The only thing he didn't mention was it was outside the doors once you got to Starbucks. By the time I arrived, my order had been sitting for a good 40 minutes. Luckily, my milk shake hasn't been made but the food was cold. I immediately requested to speak with the manager. He was on his break unfortunately and no one else could handle my request. I waited for an additional 15 minutes for him to return. I asked if I could have my order remade. He did so without any question which I greatly appreciate. Now that location was very busy. Almost all the tables were full and more people were coming in by the minute. With that said, the restaurant was a mess and some of the workers clearly didn't want to be there from what I saw. I ordered a single bacon cheeseburger, onion rings and a vanilla shake. The bacon was undercooked and the burger was questionable. I threw it in the trash after one bite. The onion rings were decent and milkshake was pretty good. I expected better for $25. I would not recommend or come back here. Honestly, if I knew I would end up at the mall I would have just went to coastal flats.

****SUNDAYS ONLY****…read more Homey, delicious, and satisfying! For $10, I got a massive portion of Pique that was equal to 3 meals in my book. That means I got large chunks of fried potatoes, almost like oversized wedges; thick and juicy hot dog sliced on a bias; super flavorful chunks of marinated beef, all topped with chorrellana (thinly sliced red onion; cubed fresh tomato; and a sprinkling of sliced sweet peppers), and served with a spicy green sauce on the side. Talk about some down-home Andean comfort food! I've had Bolivian food before in Miami, and this was definitely some good stuff. The place that I tried in Miami, Las Americas, was about as close to perfect as I think you can get, but I honestly struggle to believe that what I just ate actually came from a food truck! The owners of this truck have to be commended for churning out some darn good homestyle food. My only complaints are that the meat was just a tad bit tougher than I prefer, and some spots were just a tiny bit on the salty side. I'm talking really minor stuff, though, nothing crazy. All in all, on a couple-miles-long, straight shot strip where people have literally 6 other Bolivian food trucks to choose from, there is a reason why this one keeps a steady line of 15-20 hungry patrons waiting in the cold to dig into a delicious taste of home. Let me not forget to mention also that I was the ONLY non-Bolivian in line the entire time. No, I don't mean the only non-Hispanic person, but the absolute only non-Bolivian. This place was definitely serving up styrofoam boxes stuffed with some full-flavored spoonfuls of homey goodness. TIPS: If you've never had Bolivian food before, this may not be the place to figure things out because the line is really long. I'd recommend Googling the most popular dishes online first and choosing a couple that you'd like to order or else if you speak Spanish well, you'll have plenty of time in line to ask for recommendations. A few of the dishes that I remember are piqué, falso conejo, pata, chicharron, charque, aji de lengua, choclo con queso, rangla (soup), salten~as (although not listed on the menu). I went around 3:30PM and I think all of the soups were gone, but only one of about 8 dishes was sold out. That's pretty good for such a busy spot! ****SUNDAYS ONLY****
