I usually LOVE Jersey Mike's subs & service from this Tysons location but last week, was not it. I tried ordering via the app so I can save myself some time. Park, go in, get the food, and leave. That WAS the plan. I was craving a cheesesteak and never had one at Jersey Mikes. Also ordered a Kids Meal for my son. Placed the order at 9am for 12:30 pm pickup. Expecting in and out in 30 secs. I got there early around 12:20 pm as I expected it to be ready. I wait.... and wait.....and wait...... it's past 12:30pm.... and wait..... finally the mgr asked me my name. He asks the guy at grill if he had a cheesesteak. He grabbed it and put it in a bag which was sitting in the preparation area for over 20 mins. I FINALLY GET IT! 20 mins waiting and 10 mins later than my scheduled time. Not even a thank you or sorry for waiting. When I got homen my cheesesteak was cold. And it was all bread and not a lot of meat or cheese or onions. My last thought: never again. You only get once chance to make a first impression. They failed. Should I give them a second chance? The staff here are TERRIBLE and RUDE. They always have the light up sign that says 'open' turned off, even when it is hours before close. On multiple occasions I have come to this location in the evening and they will have the lights dim and be in the back with the 'open' sign off to give the appearance the restaurant is closed. When you walk in you will not be greeted and they will just stare at you and not talk to you at all, even when providing an order. My most recent visit was on 1/30 at 7 pm and the service and staff were rude and did not greet us, or speak to us, and made it very clear they were so irritated that they had to serve us. I also asked the woman working if she would change her gloves because she had been in front of and behind the counter touching everything, she got SO MAD and gave me a nasty look and gave me so much attitude about it. I do not recommend you come to this location in the evening because it will be a poor customer experience. read more

I ordered the grilled mushrooms and Swiss with green bell peppers and onions. The app doesn't give an option for adding or subtracting any ingredients when you ask for a plastic tub in lieu of bread. I placed the order through the app at 7:22, it was promised by 7:38. I walked in around 7:29 and it was already ready and sealed in a paper shopping bag. When I got home and opened up the bag I see that brown, wilted, soggy shredded lettuce was added to the bottom of the tub. No tomatoes or pickles either. I guess that's "Mike's way". I walked into the store on Sunday Oct 9. There was an employee sitting at a table looking at her phone, and no one was behind the counter. I waited a few minutes at the counter before finally asking the employee if I could place and order, and she told me there was someone in the back washing some thing??? The employer wearing glasses and a red shirt this Tuesday evening at ,8:30pm was neither friendly or helpful. I had simply asked him about the toppings that theybhad to offer. A few things stood out that immediately impressed me. #1- Service: even though they were busy they were extremely friendly, thorough and attentive. It seemed like this location was run by a very experienced crew. #2 - Appearance: this is definitely Jersey Mike's! Seems like they have a little more space than normal. However, the idea is to grab and go. Very clean and well maintained. #3 - Location: right by my office, a Walmart and the metro. This chain is located in Tyson's corner- there is parking but limited. Luckily we found one when we pulled in. The atore wasn't busy and we got our order in pretty quick. My husband and I have our birthdays the same month so We voth came in for our birthday meals. The guys were kind of pleasant but one of them almost gave us a hard time because we came in a little in the month and carded my husband. The other guy was nice enough to just let him get his free meal. I mean, we do get sandwiches a lot and one a year definitely makes up for it. Anywho- the place was well stocked and clean. Well, I love JM subs. This location I don't frequent, but today we were killing time waiting on a prescription at Walmart. The place wasn't the cleanest, the women's restroom was blocked off and the men's wasn't very clean. One possible reason was staffing. There was only one person working. Beware of scam. I ordered and was charged for 4 regular subs and was served 2 giant subs cut into cut in half. The cost of 4 regular subs was (in rounded numbers) $7 more than the cost of 2 giant subs. I asked to be charged for what I actually was served and was told by Tony that he understood my issue but couldn't make the adjustment. So he had his manager Andrew call me but that call didn't go well either. He was not only rude but adamant that I was just confused. Since I have been a frequent customer at other Jersey Mike stores I know what a regular sub should be, and it's not a half of a giant sub. He acknowledged that what I actually received was 2 giant subs. But he couldn't answer if that was the case why I was charged the higher cost of 4 regulars. He refused to make the $7 adjustment. Got my order wrong -- I specified that I wanted Provolone cheese and was given American, and was not given lettuce or tomato, despite having been specifically asked if I wanted them. Also, the sub was a lot more bread than filling. I was in too much of a hurry to wait for them to remake it, especially since the first one took longer than normal. Brand new Jersey Mike's location that just opened up in the area. It's right next to Walmart. Went here during the first week of opening and a few times back since then. It can be extremely packed with long lines during prime lunch time, but service has been excellent every time and very fast. All the workers are laid back, chill, friendly, and have that standard Jersey Mike's personality. Parking can be a little crowded as well because of the layout design. Not that much seating room either, so best to grab and go. And the food is amazing! Best subs, both cold and hot subs. Food has been on point every time and does not disappoint. I walked in yesterday coming late after work, they are open until 9 thank God! SO excited to see there was a Jersey Mikes nearby. It was my first time trying and was greeted by Alex the manager. He. Is. AMAZING and SO NICE. I've worked in retail and I know I've showed customers that come last minute before closing, that I wish they didn't. And Alex was so welcoming and didn't make me feel like one of those last minute customers. Alex was incredibly accommodating along with the other gentleman that was working as well. Alex walked me through the menu, told me his favorite selection, and was incredibly detailed with the descriptions. It wasn't hard to choose what I wanted with his great recommendations! Went with the cold cut sandwich and I'm a changed woman! No more Subway or Jimmy Johns!! I LOVE JERSEY MIKES. They cut the meat right in front of you??? Like what?? First, the good. This location consistently has the freshest bread of any Jersey Mike's I've been to, and that is a lot. Now, the bad. I think their service leaves a lot to be desired. I placed an app order, paid ahead with a $3 tip, and when I walked in to pick it up, stood near the register for almost 5 minutes without anyone asking if I needed help. Maybe they should do what Chipotl* does and put the completed orders on a self-serve shelf? Otherwise, your food is held hostage until the workers notice you. Ordered 2 sandwiches through DoorDash, as I've done before. Both were made incorrectly. One had the wrong sandwich bread, wheat instead of white. I stopped by this Jersey Mike's at 6pm on a weekday. The person in front of me, ordered a cold sub, and ended up using the rest of the shredded lettuce in the bin. No big deal right? I also wanted to order a cold sub with Mike's way, but was promptly told they do not have shredded lettuce and someone would have to go and shred it, which they were not planning to shred. Few other things that happened in my 10 minute wait, while waiting for my hot sub. 1. The guy running the front had gloves on, dropped a stapler on the floor as he was bagging, picked up the pieces of the stapler, and then proceeded to go make more sandwiches with the same gloves on. He had the gloves on while tapping on the POC machine as well. 2. The guy making the hot sandwiches ended up dropping the bread slicer on the ground, as well as another patrons sandwich. He proceeded to get upset and tell the other employee to remake the hot sub.
