The manager was rude when I called to clarify my order appeared to be missing an item. I think he's related to the owner so there is no accountability. I then went into the restaurant in person to pick up an order and saw him being rude to a caller who asked about their pizza which appeared to have been the incorrect one delivered. After these experiences, I won't be coming back. Their food isn't that great for the price and service. The chairs are extremely loud when you move in/out and the omelettes weren't that great. Great little cafe with solid sandwiches. Their Sottopanino was a killer combination of meats and cheeses with just the right amount of veggies, peppers and dressing. The roll was reminiscent of a Philly sub roll, which - now this may be polarizing - is the standard by which I judge all sub rolls. Philadelphia just has the best subs ;) Anyway - they use good deli meats here. I don't think they make their own fries, but they were nice and crispy with a bit of seasoning on them and went well with our sandwiches. My husband had the cheesesteak and said it was just meh - definitely steak-ums - but we are from the self-proclaimed cheesesteak capital of the world :) Don't pass up the dessert case though - I am not a sweets person, but they had this triple cheese thing that was like a cheese danish, but with a million times more cheese and just a little bit of pastry, we... uhhh... devoured it... It paired really nice with their house chocolate gelato, which was the definition of rich, decadent chocolate. The lady at the register was kind enough to allow us to try a side-by-side of the house and the machine gelato... word of advice... skip the machine, go with the house gelato - the flavor (and the serving size) knocks that name-brand, machine mumbo jumbo out of the park :) Honestly, just a great sandwich joint with a little store selling specialty items, many of which are from Italy (I will be back for some squid ink pasta the next time I am cooking for friends!). The Chicken Little was medium sized but the flavor was more than expected and exactly as a chicken sandwich should be. I had heard that Nozzo Pazzo was THE spot to pick up a picnic for Wolf Trap and the people were right! This little Italian store and deli is absolutely delightful. From the moment we walked in, the two counter people were so kind, upbeat, and just joyous -- they truly made me feel so happy to be supporting a great neighborhood spot like this. I placed an order online but all of the desserts in their counter looked so good that I had to add a few cannoli (freshly filled on the spot) and cookies and cream eclairs to my order. Our sandwiches were devoured at the concert and the eclairs were literally the best I had ever had. I just returned from three years outside the U.S., and one of my first restaurant visits is this newly minted NoVa 2024 "Runner Up" Deli/Sandwich Shop. I was fascinated with the sandwich options, and I knew it would be perfect for lunch. We arrived during lunch time to a moderately busy dining space. We were warmly greeted by the staff and shown our options. I already knew what I wanted, and my husband found something quickly. He was just thrilled that they sold Mexican cola. The Popeye was absolutely delicious, and I started dreaming about the next sandwich to get. My husband enjoyed his grilled cheese but wanted more cheese than meat (there was a lot of meat!). After we finished, we decided to try the gelato, one vanilla and one chocolate. It was very creamy and the prefect ending. I'll be back for certain. In my opinion, every neighborhood can use a Nozzo Pazzo...good sandwiches/subs and a ton of Italian deli items like pasta, sauce, olive oil, desserts, coffee, etc. I love a good sandwich for lunch so we finally make it to Nozzo Pazzo as I've been eyeing them for several months now. It's a few doors down from Pazzo Pomodoro...they must be related. It's a cool little shop with perhaps 8-10 tables but we were able to grab a table pretty easily on a Friday at lunchtime. I eye up the cheesesteak as it has good reviews but opt for the roast beef special of the week which is a hot roast beef topped with cheese, coleslaw, carmelized onions and some tasty sauce. Enjoyed it very much. The wife went light with the bang bang shrimp wrap which was decent. Crinkle cut fries were a huge portuon and very crispy. Nozzo Pazzo is a casual local Italian deli.  It offers a wide range of offerings from breakfast to dinner that you can eat in, take out or carry home to make yourself.  The décor is simple and there are not too many tables but they have fit in how ever many they can (you can find yourself hitting other people's chairs as the tables are pretty close together.). There is also a dining area with stools along the front windows of the store.  We tried the meatball hero, sausage hero and the ham and Pazzo grilled cheese panini.  You order at the counter and take a number back to your table.  Your order is brought to you when it is ready.  The service was friendly and efficient.  The sandwiches we had were ok.  Not bad by any means but a little bland for our tastes.  Even the side of potato salad was pretty non-descript with little in the way of flavor.  This was disappointing.  However, Nozzo Pazzo must be doing something right because the place was very busy while we were there with many families with young kids coming in and out.  Parking is readily available in the lot out front. read more

Called last minute to see if they could handle a large party platter request. I was having trouble with my computer so couldn't pull up their menu and the manager Mark told me not to worry, asked for my budget, and made me a HUGE tray of assorted subs and chips. The Philly cheesesteak was amazing although my son loved the "Sotopanino" the best. 8 subs fed about 15 of us. They had it all ready in about 25 minutes at peak rush time (530pm). When i arrived to pick up the subs, i was taken aback by the huge assortment on display of home made desserts. I will definitely have to come back in for those along with some of that fantastic looking wine. The homemade pasta selection caught my eye too. Nothing like fresh pasta. I LOVE this place. It's the definition of a hidden gem. I've been here several times and every sandwich I've gotten has been delicious. The meatball sub is 10/10. I HIGHLY recommend the Tintin. The BLT (which I got today) is also fabulous. The bacon is thick and crispy yet chewy. The also have nice deli meats, handmade pasta, and other nice Italian packaged goods. I got a caramel latte today and it was FABULOUS. It was super hot (which I love because I like my drinks piping hot) and tasted just like a Starbucks caramel macchiato (but better). The vibes are also great in here. Everyone who works here is very friendly and fun to talk to. They also always have sports on the main TV, so it's a nice place to sit and eat a sandwich and watch a game. All around, great place. read more

I really like Nozzo Pazzo. They're a great lunch spot with plenty of sandwiches, plus an all-day breakfast menu. They also have a few heartier entree options, like spaghetti. My favorite item is the Tin-Tin sandwich, with tasty roast beef and melty brie on a croissant. They also have a wide selection of fresh desserts that never disappoint. I had a coconut bread pudding that was utterly delicious. It was rich and dense with coconut and cinnamon. Nozzo Pazzo has deli meats and cheeses, sauces, dried pasta, packaged cookies, oils, and other goodies for sale. You order from the counter but there's plenty of seating inside (and a few tables outside). The staff is always friendly and has always delivered my food to me. Nice bite from the anchovies, fresh romaine, crunchy croutons. Hail Caesar wrap - 3/5 - rather boring... literally just chicken with the Caesar salad inside a wrap. Meatball sub - 3.5/5 - bread was nice and toasty, meatballs were sizable, sauce needed more umph from some garlic and/or red pepper flakes, and it was a bit too cheesy Pizza by the slice - 5/5 - delicious, great chew in the crust, huge portion, generous toppings Sottopanino sandwich - 4/5 - really good sandwich, perfect proportions of meat, peppers, and veggies. One of my top 3 Italian sandwiches in the area (the other two being Italian Gourmet in Vienna and Red Apron in Mosaic). Crinkle cut fries - 3/5 - well seasoned, but a bit undercooked and soggy Ambiance and service - 5/5 - super nice people and really laid back and intimate vibe inside. For 3 slices of pizza, 3 orders of fries, 4 sandwiches, and the salad the total was $89 before tip. Feels like a good deal for the amount of food we received. Will definitely be back! read more

Tried this place and it's good! I think I'll need to try one or two other things that will bring it to a 4 star. My sub had lots of meat and other toppings, but next time I'll ask if they have an Italian seasoning blend to add to it or something else to add a little more flavor, as I just picked a basic make your own. Also tried their raspberry cake it it was good as well. Try to use cash if you can as there was an extra charge for using card that added an extra dollar or two to my bill. Tried the "16 pepperoni and pizza. They use a wood fire oven. I loved the taste of the crust but I like my pizza crust a little crispier so it didn't get 5 stars, the right amount of cheese and sauce. I would recommend. Definitely better than the majority of pizza available in the Vienna/Tysons area. I ordered online and pizza was ready when they said it would be. I was greeted with a friendly welcome and smile. Some different twists to sandwiches that make them unique here, such as the TinTin, a roast beef and cheese melt sandwich typically with au jus gravy, but here the cheese is Gruyère and an ample bed sautéed onions on a croissant make for a delicious sandwich without the gravy!
