Had a really, really good Italian Hero, good sized with a good amount of meat for $9. Deli part of an office building so had a little bit of a hard time finding..has its own entrance. I couldn't find any pics of the menu, so here they are..wish I lived closer, I'd be coming here often. read more

I randomly Googled delis because I wanted a good polish sausage sandwich. Didn't find any nearby that sold them ready to eat anyway. At any rate, the food pics for Bridgewater Deli is what made me decide to try them over the others. I must say I was extremely pleased with my food. I can't recall the last time I had a truly crafted deli sandwich or what I'd expect in a deli sandwich. The bread was toasted perfectly. The amount of meat was just right and overall it was just so appetizing. Compared to one I won't name but is located in Fairfax Towne Ctr where the gentleman was condescending and obnoxious, my hot pastrami sandwich wasn't warm much less hot and cost over $19, the folks in Bridgewater were friendly, patient and pleasant while I made up my mind. The food was absolutely delicious and cost less than $9 for a sandwich that was enough for two. This deli will definitely be my go to. As an aside, I found myself admiring the lady's haircut and color who prepared my food while waiting. read more

I'm not from New York thank goodness! So I appreciate a food deli Virginia style! (Yes that was an attempt to belittle all the freakin New Yorkers in here who have to tell you they "know NY deli food." Yeah well I know New York deli food too and I'm glad Bridgewater is not of the same cloth. They have excellent sandwiches with quality meats and the accompanying veggies are ALWAYS fresh. Fast service and excellent-quality sandwiches, soups, and salads. The ingredients are always fresh, the lettuce crisp and deep green, and the meats are good quality. They also create a green seasonal salad for each season: such as greens with apples, goat cheese, dates, nuts, etc. I am addicted to this salad! Soup of the day and chili as well. Staff will customize what you like. They also sell better brands of snacks and cookies, plus the usual office building necessities like candy and gum, tissues, aspirin, and bottled drinks like Honest Tea. read more

A hidden gem of a deli in Fairfax right by 66 and 50. I ordered the cracked pepper turkey sandwich and the rare roast beef sandwich for my friend. The turkey had a delicious avocado spread, tomatoes, lettuce, and mayo. My friend said the roast beef was cooked perfectly and had a nice horseradish sauce, but it could've used a tiny bit more mayo. This place also sells "Dirty", Kettle, and Route 11 potato chips - so much better than Lays. Next time, I want to try the salads as they sounded pretty good. The deli staff don't seem that friendly but they were quick to take my order and make the sandwiches. Prices are reasonable, service is fast, and the place is clean. Came here yesterday to pick up a sandwich for my lunch, and a piece of pre-wrapped cake since the minimum is $7.00 for using the CC machine. The sandwich and the cake should of came to $7.00 and change, but for some reason it came to over $8.00. Go figure. Anyway, the sandwich was decent with the right amount of mustard, it was a Pastrami sandwich. It was good, but not N.Y.C. good, but it filled me for a while until I got home. At least they use Boar's Head Cold Cuts for their sandwiches! LOL! Too bad they don't do breakfast combo's, for they would get more customers in there if they did. Will have to try them out again the next time I'm in the area. Too bad they are not opened on the weekends. read more

My coworkers had recommended this place, so I knew I'd have to try it out at some point. I was particularly intrigued by the reuben, so I ordered that, but I also saw a shrimp & corn chowder on the menu board that I was interested in and ended up caving and getting a cup of soup, as well. The guy behind the counter was very friendly. The reuben was really good and well-priced -- its cheese was nice and melty. The sandwich also had a generous stack of meat. The soup was okay; it wasn't as creamy as I would have liked, and it had red peppers in it, which I personally don't prefer. Overall, Bridgewater Deli is a convenient place to grab a quick and tasty lunch on a work day. read more

They constantly change up the specials so you are not always stuck with the "same old sandwiches". Subway, Jersey Mike's, Quizno's and other chain sandwiches places I can't think of cannot compare to this place. Easily 5 stars. read more

OK - so this was a surprise. I was visiting the DC area for the last five days and last Tuesday I met a friend who works in the nearby office park. My buddy took me to this normal looking deli and I was expecting normal deli food. Instead, I was pretty blown away. I can't vouch for the other sandwiches here, but anyone near this deli desperately needs to try the chipotle chicken sandwich. If I remember correctly, it has avocado, cheddar, and I think honey mustard...on a DELIGHTFUL toasted ciabatta. If you work nearby, this is an absolute MUST. My friend also ordered the chipotle chicken and also raved about the corn chowder, but I didn't try it, so I can't opine. Service was above average - the owners (I think), seem to be very nice and knew my friend on a first name basis. Store was clean but the decor was otherwise unremarkable. Given that I live in CA, the likelihood that I come back to this random deli is quite low, but I wanted to write this review to highlight this to anyone who works or lives nearby. I'm from NY, so delis are a bit different in VA & my expectations are different. That said, the deli is clean & quick, sandwich was good. The difference was in the amount of meat. NY delis pile it on, but this deli, while providing more than Subway's bread & lettuce sandwiches, doesn't match what I'm used to. My cold roast beef hero with no cheese or fixings was $7.96, so that warrants more than one dollar sign in my opinion. read more

The sandwhiches are great with a great variety of food. The Boar's Head meats and cheeses really make a difference the quality is there. The ladies work with you to get your order right and out of there quickly. Get there before noon or call in or face a line for sure! But that's a good indication of how good they are. Wish they were open on Saturdays. The maple ham with bacon and brie is fantastic- and try the roast beef with cheddar and sweet peppers and onions. read more

The food at Bridgewater is consistent, but nothing amazing. I like their lunch deli sandwiches better than their breakfast sandwiches (the eggs are weird on the breakfast). They have a great selection and every item I have had has been flavorful (I suspect they use a lot of butter on sandwiches). They have a lot of little items like gum/mints that you can get at the register and a good selection of chips and refrigerated beverages. The hours are strange because it is in an office building (Only open Monday-Friday 7am-4pm). I find that they are overpriced for the quality of the food. Like I said above, it is good, but I wouldn't call home about it. They only take cash for transactions under $7 (they have an ATM), which can be a hassle. read more

Come here often because I work in a building nearby. Pleased with the service overall but I wish they would clearly define what's in their food. I've had their corn and shrimp chowder twice now and I only found out today that it has bacon in it. Now that might not bother most people but it is misleading to some of us that don't eat certain things for religious reasons and/or dietary concerns. read more
