Spicy pork w/ rice and a small salad was very good, not to spicy, they have Sriracha sauce if ud like to make it Spicer:)

Food was very good I got the spicy pork. And the staff was very polite and very good service. The ambiance was mellow nice and quite as small as a Starbucks.

    Reuben and matcha latte

Reuben is the best that I have had. Matcha latte you can adjust sweetness. Friendly staff. Definitely comeback again.

Blessing Cafe was such a blessing to find! They changed ownership about 3 months ago, but this place is still going strong and a local favorite! They offer an extensive menu, featuring breakfast items, cold and hot sandwiches, paninis, wraps, salads, house specialties (such as Korean eats), coffee, tea, and other beverages. We came here for breakfast, and I was so glad that you're not only restricted to their breakfast menu, but can order off of their lunch menu as well! We ordered: +a Breakfast Burrito - generously filled with homefries, egg, and cheese, with your choice of protein (opting for the sausage); the hubs found this to be super delicious, and loved how the ingredients were well 'mixed' together, so you're biting into only potatoes, only eggs, etc.; he stated that the sausage that they used was very flavorful and tasty! +a Shrimp Po'Boy - a sub roll filled with fried shrimp, coleslaw, and remoulade sauce; the roll itself is a little too bread-y, but the filling was yummy; I was a little apprehensive that there wouldn't be too much sauce, but there was enough to dress everything; the coleslaw was yummy +a Bulgogi Sub - a sub roll filled with bulgogi, cheese, and mayo; I opted out of the lettuce and the tomatoes; the roll itself is a little too bread-y, and the bulgogi itself was fine, with a little kick; a hearty sub, for sure +housebaked cookies - we tried their chocolate chip, the oatmeal raisin, and the white chocolate macadamia - they just had come out of the oven, so they were warm and so good; our favorites were the oatmeal raisin and the white chocolate macadamia! I was pleasantly surprised to see that they serve Julius Meinl coffee! I had their maple latte and the hubs had their matcha latte. Both were very well-prepared and delicious! I definitely want to try their Korean dishes, such as their bibimbop. Staff here was very friendly and welcoming, and the food was actually prepared efficiently! There are a handful of seating inside, as well as some patio seating for those who prefer al fresco dining. Located on the ground floor of a business building in the Westwood Center, there's ample parking around. +tasty eats +Julius Meinl coffee! +yummy cookies! +friendly service +in- and outdoor seating +plenty of parking

    *Chipotle Chicken Wrap Side: Coleslaw

Was looking for a new lunch spot so I decided to try this place and I had no idea what I was missing! I placed an order online for the chipotle chicken wrap with a side of coleslaw-- both were delicious and my order was ready in 5 mins during a busy lunch hour. Their menu has great options and their dining area was full which is always a good sign. Don't let it's tucked away location deter you-- it's easy to get in and out of and will be worth the visit!

Hands down my favorite deli/Cafe. They also have lots of amazing Korean food. The owners are amazing, high energy, and absolutely loving. You can definitely tell it's a mom and pop shop. This place is constantly flowing with guests for eating in, ordering to go. I work near by so I order for pick up every Thursday and its quick and easy. Ordering in person is also an extremely fun experience. They have plenty of sitting space inside and out. Private FREE parking. 10/10 if you're in the area, you have to try it at least once. That way you are hooked and you have to come back. Ps, always order fries. I unfortunately at all of mine instantly so I couldn't take a photo.

    So little meat!

The deli sandwiches, wraps and fries are amazing. Service is impeccable but the potion size of meat for bimbibap is sooo small. Plus the egg in the picture is supposed to come out not fried, but sunny. Disappointed I paid 14$ for rice and veggies. As the saying goes. Where is the beef?

    Chicken Philly

Found this place on Yelp today while waiting for my Dad's car to be ready and it surpassed my expectations. The lady operating the cashier (and maybe the owner/GM?) had an air about her that was infectiously positive. Maybe it was the fact that she sang every word in response to our order (she also has a great voice, which def helps; if I sang at work I think the public response would be altogether different) or her attentiveness to every group of customers in (and seated outside on the patio) of her cafe. But in any event, it was a nice refrain from a regular, low energy interaction you typically have at a lunch spot. We ordered the Chicken Philly and the Chicken Salad Sandwich (today's special) on rye. My chicken Philly was well cooked and seasoned and accompanied by delicious and fresh tomatoes, lettuce, and onions. The chicken salad was fresh and sandwiched between two perfectly toasted pieces of the bread. If I had a complaint, it would be that the bread was a bit soft (for a hoagie, I prefer a hard roll). The Chicken Philly was so good I ordered a Korean Chicken sandwich and fries just to try another dish. The chicken was perfectly seasoned/breaded - so crispy on the outside but juicy and tender on the inside - and topped with a Korean slaw and sweet Korean sauce. I liked the Chicken Philly better but both were delicious and would be a welcome lunch order on most days. I look forward to returning to try more of the menu and to maybe join in on the singing this time!

If you're Korean, and you're looking for the traditional affair, this is not it. I'd take a client or friends here who aren't Korean. It's catered more towards non-Koreans IMO. They're selling this as an upscale spot and while the quality of meat is pretty darn good, you have to ask for lettuce and garlic - the two items always present at a traditional k bbq. It kind of sh*ts on the tradition by doing that. Why not provide that to give the full experience we all expect? I love luxury dining as much as anyone else but this was a colossal waste of money. I come to this shopping center multiple times a week since I live in McLean and almost always miss that this exists. They also have barstools outside facing the bar indoors but it's just so awkward. The sidewalk of this area is not built for that! Great idea (usually), but terrible execution. There's so many Korean bbq places nearby. I'm glad I tried this place to kill my curiosity of what they do different. Again, great spot if you want in bbq in a more upscale atmosphere, but it's more or less "fusion," and I'd be good with a business dinner here. Service was impeccable though. I appreciated the promptness in attending to our needs. The savory dishes btw- the dwenjangjiggae is awful. Lacks depth, flavor, and just overall was very meh. The other items (and we had all 5) were just fine. Nothing to sing home about.

Food was a mixed bag. We started with the yuk hae and mandu, which were solid but not particularly memorable. A note for the mandu was that it came out soggy and sat in water which was a bit disappointing for the price point. The meat quality was excellent though, with great marbling throughout the meal. The banchan leaned lighter in seasoning than I'm used to, but the broccoli and marinated quail eggs were standouts. I also appreciated the variety of salts served alongside the meats. My favorite was the volcanic salt! Service was where things fell short. We felt rushed or almost transaction for most of the meal, and it seemed like closing duties took priority over the guest experience. Tea refills took a while, banchan refills had to be requested multiple times, and there wasn't much guidance throughout the grilling experience. We had to ask what cuts we were eating and what each salt was. At this price point, I expect a little more storytelling and attention to detail. The grill also ran extremely hot, making it easy for some cuts to cook past our preferred temperature and constant smoke blew into the middle seat's face. A few tips: don't wear your nicest clothes because the ventilation isn't on the same level as Seoul Prime or Ingle. Make a reservation if you want a grill table, and don't be afraid to ask for banchan refills!! Would I come back for Korean BBQ? Probably not. I'd personally choose Seoul Prime or Ingle. That said, I saw several main dishes that looked promising, and I'd be open to giving the restaurant another shot. The foundation is there, but for the price and the hype, I think the overall experience needs a bit more refinement.

It was around $18.50. you get a lot for the price. The pork was really well marinated, had a lot of flavor, and they were not stingy with the amount. It also felt somewhat healthy since it came with a nice variety of sides. The meal came with three banchan: bean sprouts, kimchi, and cucumbers. They were all good and nicely pickled. There was also a small miso soup, which was a nice touch. The sides made the meal feel like a great deal. You get rice, and the purple rice upgrade was free. The salad was good too. it was not the ginger-style dressing. The tempura came with four pieces, and it was actually crispy panko instead of just being soft batter, which is always a good sign. We asked out server what was going on with the Vienna Maru and she told us they were gradually shutting it down completely. However, the Pan Am Maru is not fully functional yet. They have a sushi counter but it won't open until next year. I also don't know if the current Pan Am Maru menu is the one they are going with going forward. But I do note it is smaller than the one at the Vienna Maru, noting in particular that the lunch options, such as the bento boxes, are not on the Pan Am Maru menu. If they have done away with the bento boxes, I'm not that interested in returning. Service at the Pan Am Maru was very good. The ambience is comfortable. We ordered Spicy Pork Bulgogi, Spicy Chicken Bulgogi, Japchae, and the Katsu special. When they say the pork and chicken bulgogi are spicy, Mary is not fooling around. These dishes are hot spicy!
