Blessing Cafe was such a blessing to find! They changed ownership about 3 months ago, but this place is still going strong and a local favorite! They offer an extensive menu, featuring breakfast items, cold and hot sandwiches, paninis, wraps, salads, house specialties (such as Korean eats), coffee, tea, and other beverages. We came here for breakfast, and I was so glad that you're not only restricted to their breakfast menu, but can order off of their lunch menu as well! We ordered: +a Breakfast Burrito - generously filled with homefries, egg, and cheese, with your choice of protein (opting for the sausage); the hubs found this to be super delicious, and loved how the ingredients were well 'mixed' together, so you're biting into only potatoes, only eggs, etc.; he stated that the sausage that they used was very flavorful and tasty! +a Shrimp Po'Boy - a sub roll filled with fried shrimp, coleslaw, and remoulade sauce; the roll itself is a little too bread-y, but the filling was yummy; I was a little apprehensive that there wouldn't be too much sauce, but there was enough to dress everything; the coleslaw was yummy +a Bulgogi Sub - a sub roll filled with bulgogi, cheese, and mayo; I opted out of the lettuce and the tomatoes; the roll itself is a little too bread-y, and the bulgogi itself was fine, with a little kick; a hearty sub, for sure +housebaked cookies - we tried their chocolate chip, the oatmeal raisin, and the white chocolate macadamia - they just had come out of the oven, so they were warm and so good; our favorites were the oatmeal raisin and the white chocolate macadamia! I was pleasantly surprised to see that they serve Julius Meinl coffee! I had their maple latte and the hubs had their matcha latte. Both were very well-prepared and delicious! I definitely want to try their Korean dishes, such as their bibimbop. Staff here was very friendly and welcoming, and the food was actually prepared efficiently! There are a handful of seating inside, as well as some patio seating for those who prefer al fresco dining. Was looking for a new lunch spot so I decided to try this place and I had no idea what I was missing! I placed an order online for the chipotle chicken wrap with a side of coleslaw-- both were delicious and my order was ready in 5 mins during a busy lunch hour. Their menu has great options and their dining area was full which is always a good sign. Don't let it's tucked away location deter you-- it's easy to get in and out of and will be worth the visit!
Hands down my favorite deli/Cafe. They also have lots of amazing Korean food. The owners are amazing, high energy, and absolutely loving. You can definitely tell it's a mom and pop shop. This place is constantly flowing with guests for eating in, ordering to go. I work near by so I order for pick up every Thursday and its quick and easy. Ordering in person is also an extremely fun experience. They have plenty of sitting space inside and out. Private FREE parking. 10/10 if you're in the area, you have to try it at least once. That way you are hooked and you have to come back. Ps, always order fries. I unfortunately at all of mine instantly so I couldn't take a photo.
Found this place on Yelp today while waiting for my Dad's car to be ready and it surpassed my expectations. The lady operating the cashier (and maybe the owner/GM?) had an air about her that was infectiously positive. Maybe it was the fact that she sang every word in response to our order (she also has a great voice, which def helps; if I sang at work I think the public response would be altogether different) or her attentiveness to every group of customers in (and seated outside on the patio) of her cafe. But in any event, it was a nice refrain from a regular, low energy interaction you typically have at a lunch spot. We ordered the Chicken Philly and the Chicken Salad Sandwich (today's special) on rye. My chicken Philly was well cooked and seasoned and accompanied by delicious and fresh tomatoes, lettuce, and onions. The chicken salad was fresh and sandwiched between two perfectly toasted pieces of the bread. If I had a complaint, it would be that the bread was a bit soft (for a hoagie, I prefer a hard roll). The Chicken Philly was so good I ordered a Korean Chicken sandwich and fries just to try another dish. The chicken was perfectly seasoned/breaded - so crispy on the outside but juicy and tender on the inside - and topped with a Korean slaw and sweet Korean sauce. I liked the Chicken Philly better but both were delicious and would be a welcome lunch order on most days. I look forward to returning to try more of the menu and to maybe join in on the singing this time!
My friend brought me here for a workday hour lunch and I'm glad he did because this place is so cute! I'm probably biased towards the lady who works the register because her energy and happiness is so contagious. The reuben here is great, thick deli-slices of corned beef, Russian spread and a conservative helping of kraut--some places overdo it on the spread and kraut to the point where everything is dripping down your front--and then the bread was nicely griddled and not soaking in oil either. The fries here are great too, give your diet a break and spoil yourself with a small order. They're almost beer-battered, seasoned and addictively crunchy. My friend was gracious enough to share a bite of his cheesesteak with me as well. The hoagie roll was nice and soft like an amoroso should be and then the steak had a small kick of heat/spice to it that tied the sandwich together. If you work around the area, definitely drop in for lunch sometime and try your hand at the Korean phrases listed on the register. The ownership of this place is amazing. Even though it's called Blessing Cafe, I think the most religious part of the place is the Bible scripture on the wall but you can tell that the staff are loving people. Honestly, give this place a chance. If the food doesn't bring you back, the front of house staff will.

Blessings Cafe has always been my go-to place for lunch at work. The employees are incredibly cheerful, the space is welcoming, and the food is delicious! Blessings Cafe just did a big renovation and re-opened August 6th, and the renovation looks FANTASTIC! I love the new tile decor, and they have added on some new items to their menu they're trying out (the Stack [breakfast], Yogurt & Granola, Hummus Chicken Wrap, Italian Hero cold sandwich, and Turkey Pesto cold sandwich [different from the panini]). They also now have pastries from Fresh Baguette, yum! And a new coffee menu that looks fabulous, though I don't drink coffee so can't chime in on how delicious I'm sure it is. And they still have fresh-baked warm cookies any time! The new seating layout is fantastic and makes much more sense for the cafe, in my opinion - allows people to wait off to the side when things get crowded for lunch time, and people can come and relax here and enjoy a meal more comfortably than before. I absolutely love this family-owned business They also allow you to order all your food ahead of time for pick-up on their website (except the pastries). And if you get food to go, they leave little smiley faces on your box. Just a little extra blessing to send you on your way. read more
Wow they are busy - esp during weekday lunch hour as they are located in office building. But do not fear, they are fast. Bit nervous with 8 orders in front of me but was served my Bibimbab in 10min! Good portion, fresh ingredients - go check out their fusion menu and kick up your ho-hum lunch. read more

The deli sandwiches, wraps and fries are amazing. Service is impeccable but the potion size of meat for bimbibap is sooo small. Plus the egg in the picture is supposed to come out not fried, but sunny. Disappointed I paid 14$ for rice and veggies. As the saying goes. Where is the beef? read more

Let's start at hospitality. It's a rare occurrence for quick bites and take outs but there's no lacking of it here. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a smile and you know that friendly service is coming next. Now to the food. Once you try it you'll be back over and over again. I was on a trip and staying nearby so figured I'd give it a shot. Exceeded expectations! Outdoor an indoor dining is available. Friendly atmosphere. Go and try it you won't be disappointed. read more

Hole in the wall deli where you're greeted by the friendliest staff. The owner sat next to me and just wanted to know what I did for a living and just tried to get to know me. This place is very personable and I loved it. I got the Blessing Bibimbop and the portions are bigger than I expected for the price. What's not to love? read more

I stopped by this cute little cafe and got their spicy pork bibimbap. The lady who helped me was super polite and adorable! I loved how open and inviting she was and loved the atmosphere there. I wasn't expecting much from the bibimbap but it was delicious! I was planning on eating only half but ended up devouring the whole dish! Definitely will come back again another day! read more

IF YOU HAVEN'T BEEN HERE, YOU'RE MISSING OUT! The owners and cooks are such amazing people! If you're having a bad day, even just stepping foot into the door will give you a smile and make your entire week. The food is delicious and very affordable - it's all made with love! How could you not adore this place?! They are only open on weekdays until 4pm, so don't miss out on the impeccable service. Amazing people, amazing business. I will stand by that forever! read more

I wished this place was closer to me bc I would definitely come here more often. It is a cute and quaint lil cafe with a variety on their menu from paninis to Korean food! I had the pesto chicken panini and they did NOT skimp out in the protein like most places. I also tried the bibimbap and the sauce that came with it added a nice spice. Not only is the food delicious but the price is low for the portion size. Due to covid they closed their indoor seating but they have a nice patio area with tables and umbrellas. Highly recommend!!! read more

YOU NEED TO CHECK THIS PLACE OUT! I highly recommend their Korean fried chicken sandwich with their delicious fries!! (Probably one of the best fries I ever had).The owners are super nice and friendly. Other things on their menu are great! ESP their spicy pork bulgogi and bulgogi. I work within walking distance and this is hands down the go-to lunch spot for me and my coworkers. The staff is super friendly, especially the owner who often greets you and takes your order in a sing-song voice. She even goes in for a hug when it's not too busy! Her husband works the register and is always so friendly. My favorite dish without question is their Spicy Pork Bulgogi over rice. The flavor is so good and it comes with a side salad and oil and vinegar dressing. I've also ordered catering (scrambled eggs and potatoes) for a team breakfast and my team remarked how delicious it was, especially the potatoes. If ever I don't get my Blessings fix, I usually make up for it by going 2-3x in a week. If that doesn't speak die-hard fan, I don't know what does. read more

Cute little hole-in-the-wall/mom and pop spot! Came during lunch hours and it was pretty busy as it was located in a business park area. Employees were so cute and kind; they were very positive and bubbly. Sweetest people ever! They definitely care about you and your food, so trust that they serve you some delicious food. There is a wide variety of foods: breakfast, wraps, hot and cold sandwiches/paninis, salads, rice plates, and even bibimbap. They have a bunch of candy and chocolate for sale (just like at gas stations) and a shelf of chips to go with your meal. Water cups are provided and free for your convenience. I got the chicken teriyaki rice plate that came with a side salad (with an italian dressing). So good and filling for its price! The chicken wasn't dry and had a flavorful teriyaki sauce, and the side salad was a great addition. This place is also a Christian establishment with bible passages printed on the walls, but they definitely do not discriminate or make you feel unwelcome if you're not Christian. Definitely would come again if i'm in the area! read more

This place makes me happy and it's 100% because of the people that work here. Be prepared to be welcomed and serenaded. The location is pretty hidden and caters to the lunch rush from the surrounding corporate offices. When ordering, the cashier smiles from ear to ear, eager to provide the best service. The owner sings out every order or number when delivering the food to the customers. Singing makes people happy! They remember their customers and this mom and pop shop is a nice lunch break from being outside the office. I ordered the California wrap (turkey, avocado, lettuce, ranch, and cheese) with a side of fries. The fries are addictive- super crispy, well seasoned, and piping hot. I love fries and definitely approve of these. The wrap was just average for me. It's typical and doesn't really have an exciting flavor. read more

Let me tell you, this has got to be the cutest mom and pop shop around the Tyson's Corner area. I found this place by word of mouth, from a colleague. Our office is literally walking distance from this cute cafe. They're owned by the cutest Korean family, with one of them singing your orders. (She's so cute!) They had a good variety of food from Korean popular dishes (like bulgogi, and spicy pork bulgogi) to burgers. I ordered a steak and cheese with fries, which is definitely my favorite thing 'til this day. The way the steak is seasoned and made for this cheesesteak was amazing, it had a little spicy kick to it as well! The fries are super crispy and when you take it to go, they make sure not to close the box so it doesn't get soggy. The only thing I wish was that the bread didn't get soggy when I saved half, but that's my fault for not finishing it haha (the portion is huge, and the meal itself is not expensive at all). Every time I walk in there I leave with a smile. Not only does their food make me smile, but another thing that contributes to this smile is the staff and the way they care about their customers and how bubbly they all are! I would definitely recommend this if you're looking for something inexpensive, fast and delicious. :) read more
