Unfortunately, the few times that I have been in here, the representatives in store have been cold, unfriendly, and rude. I was not greeted upon entering and after browsing for a bit was told to leave a station while I was looking at one of the pod booklets so that the associate could help another customer. The way it was said was what I did not care for. If I had been greeted, asked in a polite way to please wait for the associate to be available and they would be happy to help me afterward, etc, I would have been more than happy to wait. We had such a great experience when we visited a couple of weeks ago. Our SA, Ashley, was incredibly kind and patient -- she walked us through the different Nespresso machines and took the time to explain which ones would best suit our needs and lifestyle. Even though we ended up choosing the most affordable machine, she still treated us like royalty. Five stars for that! Beautiful updated store with a tasting bar separate from their coffee bar. Cute little seating area, like 3 tables too. I didn't really care for the little queue though. The funny thing is that people would walk right into the store and pass the person at the queue and that person would have to approach them instead of the other way around. Actually seemed like a waste of resources. Once you comprehend the store set up, service is helpful and attentive. The little sample bar, you make the coffee yourself with the samples provided. I liked that idea. And they kept that area clean too so I didn't mind making my own coffee. read more

Service is lacking...although the store was nearly empty with customers it had 5 employees that could have helped me right away instead of looking at paperwork and cleaning equipment. After waiting in the unnecessary "queue" for several minutes, and finally buying my (overpriced) coffee refills, the salesperson didn't show the least bit of friendliness. The staff here really needs to get over themselves and their elitist approach towards working with once loyal customers. This will be my last purchase of any Nespresso products and I'm going back to good OG coffee brewing basics. Full transparency I am a brand new Nespresso owner and only swung by the store to recycle my pods! I had heard it was possible to do at the store and I had never been before so I was excited to come in. When I arrived there were a few people at the front tasting samples and some customers sitting at individual stations with employees. Oddly there was a line system and everyone had to wait 10-15 minutes to even be able to shop. Since it's Christmas time perhaps it's busier than normal but it was a slight turn off and I had other stores to hit so I said "next time." 4 stars because the staff was all very kind and the store was beautiful! Can't speak to a full shopping experience because I didn't have one, but I'll try again soon when it's time to recycle more pods! read more

I came to do some last minute Christmas shopping, the store had some customers shopping around but wasn't crazy busy by any means. After figuring out what I'd like to buy I went to a register where a younger blonde girl who had the worst RBF I have ever seen in my life told me condescendingly with a lot of attitude I had to put my name on a list to get in line, she did not even greet me with a hello it honestly shocked me how nasty this girl was. I wasn't aware I needed to put my name on a list because we haven't shopped here before, instead of nicely telling me that with a smile where to go and how to get on the list like customer service professionals are supposed to do she dismissed us and started calling out to other people. Decent store but I guess I'm getting tuckered out. Do I still like my Nespresso machine? Yes! Yet at its cost it certainly has been temperamental. Sometimes I wonder if the machine has some kind of metallic soul in there. The coffee and it, are a good combo, but I'm getting more back into the Keurig. Timing is of the essence! The store here has plenty of machines and coffees to choose from. There's no denying a great selection. Also I like the stores set up. It's organized in way that intuitive. I cannot say enough positive things about the Nespresso store @ Tysons Corner mall. I have been a Nespresso customer now for almost a year. I have visited the Nespresso store @ Tysons multiple times. Long review short... the staff here have amazing & superior customer service. I was reading other customer reviews on Yelp regarding this store location. One of the reviewers did not think it is a good idea to put customers in a queue to make a purchase. I disagree. Clearly Nespresso is aiming to provide each individual customer a truly amazing, positive, customized and individual experience. An experience that is custom tailored for that customer. Plus, there is no need to sit & wait. They have a coffee bar that is more of a demo coffee bar. However, it is totally free and get this, they do not provide your sample in a paper cup. They actually give you your sample in a glass. Other stores/shops that place customers in a queue upon entering: Apple, AT&T, Most restaurants on busy weekends, etc. If being placed in a queue is not an option, there is always waiting your turn in line. read more

While I waited, I looked at a menu near the coffee bar and a male employee caught an attitude with me and was very passive aggressive telling me to go to the front of the store to look at the menu. There was no menu at the front of the store. Another employee at the front looked at me like I was in their way while they just stood there not helping anyone. I left without making a purchase. Visiting this store was once a six-star experience. I'm a long-time Nespresso machine owner, and I used to visit this store almost every time that I visited the AMC movie theater, which is a lot of times! In the past, I would sample a new flavor before I sprung for a full sleeve of pods. Now, the store samples one random flavor (not usually a new flavor) for everyone who visits. On recent visits here, I've been noticing a distinct chill to the customer service. Interactions that once were friendly and helpful are now curt and perfunctory. I see very few smiles from the cashiers. Over the weekend, on my way out the door, I tried to find a trash can to discard my sampling cup. I did not throw my cup in the pod recycling bin, but all the same, I got a lecture, just as though I had committed that unforgivable error. Wow. If more than one customer makes that mistake (or almost makes that mistake), your box labeling needs improvement. I hope this store can return to its previous extraordinary level of customer service. I'll always love Nespresso machines and pods over the planet-killing Keurigs. read more

The updates to the store have completely ruined it. You have to sign-in and wait to be helped which takes 15-30 mins, even if you just want to buy some sleeves of coffee off the shelf. Last time I was in there just to recycle some pods and as I'm putting them in the bin a sales lady approaches me and starts telling me all about their newest coffee. She wasn't busy helping anyone else and spent 5 mins extolling the virtues of the latest offering. Finally I told her I would buy some at which time she offered to "put me on the list" and told me the current wait was about 20 mins. Bye Bye. That's an asinine way to sell coffee. I have had a Nespresso since 2019 and used to love coming here before and during covid easing to pick up pods. The service here in the last 6 months has become so horrible that I would rather just order pods online. I had to stop in December to recycle pods. They used to have a box outside the store to drop off so I walked in during the holidays with two large overflowing bags. When I got there I saw they moved the boxes just inside the store so I stepped in to simply drop the bags. I got chewed out and told "THERES A LINE" ? They only allow 15 customers at a time and I just wanted to drop off two large recycling bags and get out of the mall, not buy anything. The fact I would have to wait in line to throw something away is ludicrous. I came here in March 2023 on a Wednesday afternoon to pick up some pods. I came in and the greeter was coughing everywhere. I asked for a menu to look at the pods and she showed me a QR code...even during covid they had a plastic menu and now its a QR code? She gave me the wrong QR code too which was ridiculous. The pods have gotten so much more expensive- two sleeves now cost me $26. The lady checking me out did not offer a recycling bag or free samples- guess they don't do those. The fact I have probably spent 5k + over the years on coffee and my machine to pay for overpriced pods and horrible customer service in person is really horrible. read more

I drove 40 miles roundtrip to come to this store to purchase Nespresso pods at the request of my daughter. I was in this store for maybe 15 minutes or more standing...waiting to be acknowledged. Nothing. I stood silent while two employees were assisting other customers naively thinking, when the transactions were finished, I might hear, "hi, what can I help you with today?" Nope. As I stood there waiting patiently, another customer walked in and was immediately assisted by another employee. By now, I'm getting pissed off however, I spent my time and gas to get to this waste of space so I figure I'll wait until either the male or female employee finish from their customers and I will be assisted. Nope. The male employee finishes up with his customer and in walks another customer who is immediately served. At this point I am waiting on the female employee to finish with her customer. When she does, she walks to the back of the store and comes out front and gets on her station. She doesn't even look up to make eye contact with me and she knows full well that I am standing right there in front of her and have been for some time. At this point, I am done. I walk out whilst my husband goes off on a rant with their lack of customer service. Funny enough...I called my son afterwards about my experience and he stated that he and his wife have been in the same store and had the same experience hence, they purchase their pods online. If you like strong good coffee and don't have the time to grind your own coffee, Nespresso can be a plan B. Their coffee is so rich in flavor and it doesn't taste so watered down. I just wish they'd give you a sample before buying a whole set. They do have samples, but just the ones that they're promoting. This place is located on the 2nd floor. read more

When I used to go to the Nespresso stand in Bloomingdales, they would help with my questions and allow me to taste something new of my choosing. Not at Tysons. you can only sample their one offering and the woman who waited on me was not interested in helping me find a new coffee to replace the one that was discontinued. After shopping at Apple, I decided to stop by Nespresso as it's just next door. The store is beautiful and looks very similar. I've heard of Nespresso but never been into the store. It was PACKED but the employees were super helpful and knowledgeable about the different machines. I didn't have to wait and I got to try two different double espressos.
