Almond croissant and matcha latte
Dana M.

I really like this spot! I've tried the matcha latte and the chai latte, both good. For pastries, I've tried the almond croissant and the caramel pistachio roulé, also both good. Lots of seating and free WiFi.

Cameron Cafe is a mandatory stop after I finish grooming my 4 legged friend at the self serve salon down the street. It's a cozy little coffee shop with creative coffee & tea blends, fresh baked goods, & several sandwich options. I have worked my way through the menu trying different things and they're all good. Yesterday, I ordered the chicken salad on focaccia. I've had the tuna salad & spinach/tomato too. They also sell Route 11 kettle chips, small batch coffee beans, wine, canned cider & a plethora of other stuff. Service is never a problem since I call my orders in. It's ready when promised and the mother & son are warm & pleasant everytime. Locals love this place so right now its difficult to get a seat in the nook by the Christmas tree or the seats right by the window but you can usually find a random seat if you would prefer to dine in.

This is the cutest coffee shop! I received a recommendation from a friend and was so happy I tried it! We got the lavender latte, Cameron latte, cheese danish, and chocolate croissant. Everything was delicious. The shop is cozy, but we enjoyed the outside seating because it was a beautiful day. The staff was so pleasant and nice. I plan to return very soon!

Cameron Cafe can be located in the Cameron Station 'hood - this seems to be an Ethiopian-owned and -run cafe that offers various types of coffee and tea, smoothies, breakfast items, pastries, specials of the day (such as a tortilla soup), as well as other soda, snacks, and whole/ground coffee for purchase. I stopped by to grab some breakfast to go: +a Cinnamon Dolce Latte - comes in 3 sizes (12, 16, or 20 oz); I requested this to be extra hot, in which they delivered; the flavor was strong and had a good sweetness to it +and, a smoked salmon bagel - this came on a plain bagel with cream cheese, red onions, capers, and smoked salmon; the bagel itself was just okay; cream cheese was of a good spread; smoked salmon could have been more, as it seemed slightly stingy; I did request for extra capers and red onions, but with the $1 customization upcharge, there was not much in there They seem to run out of syrups/flavors; I wanted to try their maple-focused beverages, but they were out of it. Staff were kind; there's only a couple of individuals working there, so there is a little line, you may be waiting a few minutes for each order to be completed. There is a good amount of seating inside; the leather chairs were very comfortable. Plenty of free street parking in the area. +located in Cameron Station +plenty of street parking

Quiet little Cafe with plenty of space. There's some street parking and it's right next to the park, they have a wide variety of drinks and my friend and I came here to work for a couple hours. The food was pretty good as well and we would love to come back and try their coffee cocktails.

Coffee Shop No. 381 June 17, 2024 Cameron Cafe Alexandria, VA I have been under the weather lately so I haven't visited a coffee shop in four weeks! I can't think of a better place to visit than this great corner neighborhood coffeehouse, Cameron Cafe. The young man taking my order was very friendly and a delight to interact with. And he makes a delicious cortado! I went back into the cafe to see what coffee bean they use for their espressos. They use Caffe Amouri beans...so of course their coffee will be fantastic! Feels so good to be out and about again on coffee adventures.

Spinach-Mozzarella sandwich

This adorable café is near my daughter's place and it was wonderful that people are so friendly. It's a neighborhood café, where everyone get together to eat and drink coffee and tea. Oh, they have some fancy coffees and some bottle drinks . There are croissant, bagels, scones, cookies, and muffins to choose from. I had a chocolate croissant, but I found myself eating my daughter sandwich, then I got my own sandwich spinach,-mozzarella, I think on focaccia. I'm looking forward to returning.

My dog's groomer is right by this coffee shop, so I decided to stop in while waiting. The interior is very warm and inviting - a nice place to do some work or read a book on any day of the week. The servers are quick with orders, especially on a busy Sunday with a line. Best of all? The iced lattes are heavenly - just the right amount of sweetness, milk, and coffee. They're also well priced menu for the area. I highly recommend a basic vanilla latte, but if you're feeling adventurous, try a salted caramel toffee latte or a cinnamon mocha latte to bring in that cozy fall taste into your life. They also have a robust menu for brunch items. For gluten free / celiac friends, there aren't too many GF food options so keep that in mind. There's also outdoor seating for when it's nice / when you have a four legged friend coming with you - iat Cameron Cafe, it's a great time to get your pup a pawdicure or groom next door and yourself a treat! Highly recommend lattes and simple Sunday mornings here.

Lovely spot, and minority owned so I had to check it out. Taking one star off because the blueberry scone tasted a little stale even though I asked for it warmed up. I got the chai latte with baileys and it was so good! My Floridian tail thought you could leave with the drink but I was mistaken. It had a calming setting with the indoor plants. I'd come back when I'm in town again for sure. There's also a nice park close with a bridge and ducks.

Although Yelp claims that this place is closed on Sundays, it is indeed open at 10:00 am today…read more Surrounded by many Ethiopian and other cultural businesses like restaurants, cafes and markets, this bakery follows the same type of local theme amd look, and, although located in an urban area, it is indeed a hidden gem among cultural and ethnic businesses in Alexandria. This cafe was recommended by an uber driver, as well as others, who have visited the local shopping center. Once you enter this small cafe, you will hear Ethipion pop music in the background, not too loud, and you may find older gentlemen sitting with their coffee drinks and talking in Amheric about politics or stories from back home. Once I entered this wonderful place, the guests were surprised and definitely stared as I came in. Lolol I am a big fan of Ethiopian coffee and the Ethiopian way to prepare coffee and espresso beverages. Their menus carry a list of typical espresso beverages, a list of baked goods, and a list of smoothie drink varieties. They are very well priced. I ordered a delicious and hearty Ethiopian special hot tea, which contained ample amounts of ginger, honey and orange. I am recovering from a cold and cough, and the drink helped to clear my throat and sinuses. It was higher priced compared with the other beverages (it's worth the price), and I ordered *for here* since they have many ceramic cups and glassware and they ultimately gave me a paper cup even though guests sitting at the small tables were drinking from ceramic cups and glassware. Also ordered a fresh squeezed orange juice, but they did not add ice. If you want a cold drink with ice, I guess you should tell them that you want ice in it when you order. Definitely a different experience drinking a fruit juice w/o ice. I liked their version of tiramisu. They add more coffee powder and cocoa powder in the cake and on top of it. Also, they make a Creamy and filling strawberry layered cake with a custard in the middle, called fruit cake. Light cake and dense custard the same time. Reminded me of a Mille feaux. For groups of three or more, I would recommend getting your order to go due to space limitations.

I have visited that location as well, but this coffee truck is still operating, which is great since its closer to me than Vienna and is not crowded. It's located near Sky Lounge and the Red Bird with plenty of parking spots, and is easy to locate since it's on the empty side of the lot. I've tried the following items (inclusive of both locations): - Pistachio Latte: got this back in Ramadan from the truck when it was cold, so this was good - Iced Adeni: (from vienna location) this was okay, but I feel I'd stick to this hot bc the strong spiced flavors would be better - Rose tres leches: (from vienna location) wasn't a huge fan - quite frankly felt like I was eating pink cake with whipped cream and had rose petals on top (there was no rose flavor in anything). - Qamaria Latte: got this hot from the truck last night with caramel as my sweetener and this was a home run!! Absolutely loved this!! It was not overly sweet and the spices weren't overpowering. Likely will become my go-to! I typically order in my car when I want to pick up from here and just go up to the truck once I get the text my order is ready. Great for a pick up and go, especially if you're in the area or passing by. Def recommend!
