Ice matcha with lavender and oat milk

The ice matcha with lavender and oat milk was great and the service was nice. It was small but parking was easy on the street.

This was a random discovery for me while I was in Old town for an appointment. This is a very cute coffee shop that focuses on natural ingredients in their products. There is limited parking on the street so you may have to circle a few times. The employee who helped me was very friendly and explained the menu options. I had the pancake latte which was delicious and not overly sweet. I would def try some other options on another day that I am in the area!

Super cute local coffee shop in Old Town Alexandria! Decided to stop by and grab a matcha and ended up with the Greener Tea, a slice of lemon chia bread, and some cool stickers! The service was quick and friendly. Pricing was on par with the area. I do like thr fact that they incorporate the option to add protein to drinks and they focus on plant-based products and sustainable items. There are some seats for sitting and parking is street. I will definitely be back to try more of the specialty drinks and a new bakery item!

I stopped here randomly on a walk for a drink. The woman at the cashier was very helpful and suggested an iced hibiscus tea. I like that they have a variety of options and that their tea flavors are rotating. The hibiscus was refreshing (though not very sweet if that's what you're looking for) and had a very mild taste. It's a small space so there is no seating but would recommend for a quick snack or drink if you're on your way to Old Town.

Visited on a weekend morning. Small interior (I did not eat inside where seating is available) Fairly steady flow of customers coming in the morning and I had to wait a little bit for the order. I ordered the garden egg bites and vitality smoothie. The garden egg bites are small but flavorful. The vitality smoothie was hearty and energizing. I truly enjoyed the smoothie. $ There is limited street parking nearby

    Cool lighting!

Cool little hidden spot near old town Alexandria. They make protein coffee! The inside is small but cute artwork and fun stickers to purchase. There are a few tables outside! I ordered the pancake latte and it was pretty good. I will say the only negative is you can taste the gritty-ness of the protein powder if they don't blend it well. Tasted like a maple latte!

What an honor to be the first to write a review for this coffee shop with in adorable setting and with fantastic baristas. Many blessings. Coffee Shop No. 416 The Greenery Coffee Shop Alexandria, VA September 19, 2024 A few things stood out to me about The Greenery. First, the barista greeted me genuinely and warmly. Anyone who reads any of my posts has probably figured out I firmly believe a caring barista is more important than a perfectly made cortado. However I lucked out at The Greenery because I received a delicious velvety cortado from an awesome barista. Although, I should not be surprised because they use La Coop coffee beans. The second thing to stand out to me was their cups. As I looked around and asked questions I realized The Greenery is probably the most eco-friendly coffee I have ever visited. Thirdly, the building they call home is adorable. As I was crossing Queen Street I remember the blue door on white siding catching my attention and thinking, "I like it." Another thing that stood out to me were the unique names of their drinks; The Giver, The Windfall, The Pancake. This is not the type of shop where you can set up a work space, but it is definitely worth inviting a friend for some yummy coffee and a chat. Enjoying life one cortado at a time!

Unfortunately, whoever the individual was on shift today was just a total piss poor person - she seemed to have an issue with our party, as she automatically assumed we just came there to 'squat' without ordering anything (if you have been to this place before, there isn't much seating and this isn't where you'd want to sit for a bit anyway); when I called her out and stated that I already knew our party's orders, she backtracked. She then continued to make a snide comment on the number of drinks we were ordering - what's with the passive aggressiveness? I didn't know that there was some rule that each person was required to order something. Like, are you okay? I just had a bad feeling about all of this, and we should have just walked out instead of giving our money to support this business - to add to it all, the coffees that we did receive (latte with soy milk, and the mocha) were just poorly made and not strong at all; they were both watered down and bitter at the same time... come on! UGH, the regret, but it was a choice. Shame on you, Via Volcán! You might want to heavily reconsider who you employ and train them better - this individual is really hurting your business! Really unique! - Rose cardy latte (iced with little ice, oat milk) - delightfully sweet and refreshing. It was not too sweet and has light floral tones. Service was very friendly and quick. Reviews that mention how cool the phone booths are failed to mention they are for Link customers only (good thing I didn't have a call where I needed privacy). I opted used my phone's hotspot and internet wasn't that great unfortunately so I couldn't stay long. There is patio seating. Plenty of free street parking since it's not on a main Street in Old Town. I appreciated that it wasn't freezing in the building, quite temperate actually. There was guitar music playing, think Rodrigo y Gabriela. I ordered a Jasmine iced tea. Nothing against the establishment, but I discovered that Jasmine isn't a drink flavor that I particularly like.

Now, if you have customer-anxiety, i like to call it, i would deff look at the menu beforehand so you know what to order. I walked in and there was a couple sitting closest to the cash register and i was like "oup!! can't take too long. everyone knows i'm here and i need to make a quick decision" so i just ordered quickly without really the taking time to look at the menu (whenever i go to new coffee spots i like i choose a fun, unique drink if they have it and i just derped).
