WORST BREAKFAST OF 2025! I have been to other Toastique restaurants and enjoyed them. This one was a disaster. If you were going to call yourself "Toastique" then the bread should be tasty and interesting. This bread was inedible (literally, I scraped the toppings off the horrible "toast"!). The smoked salmon was bland and tasted like ... nothing really. When the thinly sliced cucumbers are the best tasting part of your meal, you know there is a problem! The staff were nice enough, but the woman calling out the names when the orders were ready could barely be heard or understood at all. And, leaving my food sitting on the counter for all to see, touch, or breathe on while they are making the coffee seems like a bad idea all around. I love that they gave me a samples of the fresh juices because I couldn't decide which one I wanted. If it was real lump crab, it was not fresh. Also, not being upfront about imitation vs real may cost someone with celiacs their health. A lot of imitation crab isn't gluten free believe it or not! I arrived at 755am on 4/18/25 to order a simple smoked salmon sandwich. I was appalled to see it was 8:02am and the bread has not come out of the toaster. 8:05am, I'm already late for work and the toast is still in the toaster.
