    Salmon toast

Food is good, Just felt it's overpriced for the smaller size. $14 for salmon toast is questionable

St. Elmo's is a great coffee pub with a full bar. They offer pastries as well as savory items. I opted in to get a hot chocolate and a yogurt parfait cup. The place was pretty busy with patrons. There were a lot of people who were there working. The staff was friendly and the service was quick.

A coffee shop with beer, wine and a full wet bar! Pretty awesome! Service was slow but that was understandable because the place was packed for a Friday morning. I ordered a dirty chi latte with an extra shot of espresso and it was made to perfection! Overall it was a great experience. Not many coffee shops have a full wet bar, wine tasting and a happy hour. Cool place!!!

St Elmo's is a jewel in the OTN neighborhood. It's great place to grab a latte and delicious breakfast sandwich or gluten free bakery treat. We also love their wine events. It is my kids first stop when they come into town.

Been to St Elmos on a few occasions and everytime i have been. They have done great job. Seating is great as they have indoor and outdoor options. Very unique seating options as well. Have a great selction of music as well. If you go at the right time its a very chill spot to work or just have a bite or drink. Also let me not forget to metntion the piano (Not for kids) Thier coffee is delcious and never had a homemade pop tart until i came here. Today was my first time having a adult bevy here. They did awesome with my mule and they are actively working on a drink menu for this location. Highly recommend them for breakfast lunch and drinks....hmm i mean dinner.

$15 for a chicken Caesar salad that looks like airplane food. Does this look worth it to you?

Salmon sandwich with one little piece of salmon

Seriously? You just cannot serve a $13 untoasted sandwich in aluminum foil for people who are eating in. I am appalled. And the plastic bag. Shriek! The salmon sandwich was not toasted, only had one little piece of salmon (see picture), and was just not pleasing to the eye or mouth. And it was $12.99! The avocado toast sounded good on paper but was disappointing. The bread was toasted to resemble a wooden board, just super hard. Little avocado that didn't look fresh - see color. And the topped cheese was not feta but some sort of odorless and tasteless cheese, and HARDboiled eggs. Yikes! Costed $9.99 The coffee had no kick. All together over $40 breakfast that was more than disappointing. The service was weird. They were not really welcoming. If you're not at the counter the very second your name is called, they scream it in 1sec intervals. Just why? The atmosphere is not inviting.

Found this location while walking around Old Town, farther up from the water due to flooding. Located in a busy area (no idea on parking) as we were walking. It was very busy, but line moved pretty fast. Plenty of seating inside & out, Staff was friendly enough. This spot seemed dog friendly as we saw three customers with dogs inside seating/ordering area. We went with a medium drip coffee and a breakfast burrito. The coffee was hot & very good with a smooth flavor. I tried Oat milk as the half/half was empty (pretty busy), it was actually pretty good. The burrito was delicious, loved the flavor and it seriously will bring me back. Coffee & Burrito was around $14 which is in-line with area.

He was in the mood for Lahmacun (sounds like Lahamajoun) super thin, crispy pizza topped with a mixture of minced meat with peppers, tomato, herbs, and spices. More fine, light, and delicate than the typical American thin pizza. The service, drinks, and food were beyond stellar in Narman. We felt like the only customers there and were waited on by many staff. The highlight of the day there was their pizza and their beverage presentation and flavors. We came on a weekday night and were the only people there in the end. My husband was impressed at how upscale the restaurant was and it was the finest Turkish restaurant he ever visited. He said it was similar to the hotel dining place he lived at in Turkey. This was our first restaurant in downtown Alexandria and one of our best experiences in Alexandria. The Lahmacun was the finest Turkish pizza my husband ever had. He ordered three of them! Each pizza was served on a large wood board with extra toppings on the side like lemon wedges, cilantro, and onions. They are so fine and thin that you can roll them up to eat. We had to put some of the last pizza aside for take out. I ate the takeout piece and was very impressed how delicious it was after being in the fridge overnight & re-heated. I loved the flavors of the Lahmacun and I don't even care for pizza that much. It is my most preferred pizza in my life ever next to the Crazy Ex in The Thirsty Goat in Clarksville, Tennessee. I ordered a Turkish dish with a rich and ancient history, Hunkar Begendi, or "Sultan's Delight." It dates back several centuries, and it was prepared for the sultans and high-ranking officials, and was served during special occasions and celebrations. The Hunkar Begendi had lamb and velvet soft eggplant with spices. I ordered it with a side of rice. It was very delicious and unique. Yet the Lahmacun despite its simplicity stole the show and cost 1/3 of the price of the Hunkar Begendi. For my beverage, I ordered The Elma. It has a stunning presentation in a smoke filled glass box. The Elma is a beverage with Bourbon, Peach liquor, vanilla maple, Apple butter,Lemon juice, and Apple cider. You have to watch the videos of how it is presented at the table. At the end of our dinner, they played happy birthday and surprised my husband with an ice cream and pumpkin dessert with a candle. So wonderful & heartfelt. It was a fascinating and flavorful dish. The pumpkin tasted like sweet potato & was different. This is a must see place for Turkish cuisine and the finest restaurant service. Prices are low to fair for such high quality food and service. Five Stars.

We were seated inside, which had a decent amount of seating. I thought the restaurant was cute, and it had a nice ambience. We ordered several dishes, starting with the cajun crawfish Mac & cheese, crab stuffed oysters, and charred spring vegetables. All 3 starters were delicious, with my favorite being the crab stuffed oysters. The Mac & cheese was a close second - it was nicely seasoned and perfectly au dente. The vegetables were also very good, and the pita it came with was great. On the breakfast menu, we ordered the chicken and waffles and shrimp and grits. Both were very good. I haven't had many chicken and waffles, but the chicken was tasty with the hot honey. The shrimp and grits was very flavorful. If I had to pick one though, I would probably pick the shrimp and grits. The service was solid, she was very friendly and came back a decent number of times. I would 100% come back again!

We walked in and were blessed to immediately get a table despite being told it may be an hour wait on the phone. We received a menu and ordered the breakfast burrito and the biscuits and gravy. Our food came extremely fast which surprised me and makes me wonder how much is prepped ahead. My friend received the burrito and it was very greasy so she requested to order something else. My biscuits and gravy were yummy. The eggs were cooked well and the fried chicken was the star of the show. Easily this was some of the best chicken I have had in a while. I overall enjoyed my meal but I wish there was way more gravy as there was only a little bit layered on top of the 2 biscuits. My friend was given a menu to order something else and this menu was different and had dinner options. It was 4:30 when we came and not more than 15 minutes of difference before receiving a menu the second time so we were surprised but eager to look. My friend ordered the half chicken which came with collard greens and grits. Since there was a different menu I wasn't aware of I wanted to order something additional and opted for saving the brunch meal I ordered for breakfast tomorrow. I loveeee scallops so when I seen them on the menu especially over grits I had to order it. The scallops were cooked wonderfully and I loved the composition of the dish with the creamy grits and the acid from the tomatoes and the smokiness of the sauce and grits. My friend loved the half chicken and after trying it myself we both agreed Matt and Tony's knows how to cook chicken well. The greens had nice flavor but were a little dry and needed some broth/juice from cooking. Again the grits were delicious and creamy with a bit of smoky flavor. I also had the Peso Cocktail which was sweet with a nice kick. Overall I enjoyed this restaurant and would come again and absolute what I ordered again as well. Coming here next time will be hard cause I'm definitely going to be battling between wanting what I already had and trying something new.

All of the hip young girls in high school recommended this place to me and my friends and lets just say, they have never been more wrong. My girls and I went this weekend for a birthday brunch. I wanted a crepe, but when I saw it was 17 DOLLARS to slap some Nutella and strawberries on a piece of crepe is outrageous. I ordered a "Continental Breakfast," which, with tax and tip, cost me $30 DOLLARS. I wish you could have seen the look on my face when they gave me a plate of rabbit food. All 6 of us looked at the plate and laughed. Seriously, my 5 year old neice can eat 3 times as much of that in one sitting. So, in what world would that be enough food for a grown woman? My friend then went on to order the French toast for a grand total of $36 DOLLARS. Mind you, there was only one piece of toast, and the Inside was raw and soggy. Tasted like eating wet, soaked toilet paper. On top of the overpriced food and small portions, our "server" came to our table for a total of ONE SINGULAR TIME. My friend had also ordered a Chai Latte. Surprise, Surprise! It never came, and they still charged her for it. I think the nice man who brought us our food could see the look on our faces when we received our food, because he then brought us a free side of French fries. It is a huge problem when the french fries were the only sufficient thing I put in my mouth at this restaurant. I please, genuinely beg all of you to NOT waste your money. I promise there is anywhere else where you can get a crepe for double the size and half the cost. Once we left, we went down to Call Your Mother, the Jewish Deli, to get more food, as all of us left with our tummies still rumbling. Mind you, a full bagel sandwich and coffee cost HALF THE PRICE of one meal at Fontaine. Horrible. Mind you, it is 2 days later, and I am still thinking about this. I fully created a Yelp account just so I could leave a review. I think I would have a better experience eating an IHOP Continental breakfast than whatever I put in my mouth at this restaurant. Not worth the hype at all. Save your hard-earned cash and be a big baller elsewhere!
