DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY FROM THEIR SITE!!! They will not honor it. They will make excuses. They will try to rectify the situation and somehow it will be worse than just honoring the initial order. They personally tried to deliver the order after I brought to their attention that their delivery system doesn't work and even that order was incorrect. (Which may be more difficult for me if I was with another person because of lip reading, but because it was just me that day it was fine). There are tables and bar counters to eat at. The person working the counter was very helpful and I asked for suggestions of snack. I had a cold brew and a blueberry multigrain muffin. It was solid and hit the spot! The quiche serving was a bit large for one person (nearly a 1/4 of a pie tray) and came with a small salad, but was delicious. The piece of pumpkin loaf I ordered was dry. My family and I went here twice on our trip to DC. On the first day, we each got Iced Matchas with lavender. They tasted really good! We also ordered 2 nutella crepes but the crepe tasted eggy. My grandma ordered a vegetable crepe since she's a muslim vegetarian. Unfortunately she found a piece of meat in her crepe! She had already ate half of it so who knows if there was more. We came back the next day to have the tasty matchas again. But they looked and tasted different than when we had them yesterday. It was pretty much just milk with a hint of matcha. So yummy! A great cafe to check out. I wouldn't go to Alexandria just to eat here, but if you're in the area I definitely recommend checking this spot out. I ordered a croque monsieur, Nutella & banana crepe, and matcha latte. The food was yummy and the drink was great too! There was even a mixup with my drink where (I think) someone else grabbed mine, but the baristas were very kind in remaking mine and making sure it was right. I think asking for names or calling out order numbers with the drinks would help prevent this in the future, but it didn't really detract from my experience. Prices are in-line with area, which is on higher end for a Cafe. We ordered Coffee which was hot & delicious. My only complaint was I like to drink mine to the last Fogers drop, and I did, and it was all grounds. Not what I expected, ruined it for me as it took me awhile to get all of it out of my mouth. My wife loved the bread she got, I had a taste and agree with her, quite good. I was very pleasantly surprised with my smoked salmon on a plain bagel. Plain bagel was all they had available, I usually do an Everything, but to be honest the plain bagel was done just right. Paired with the Salmon, cream cheese, onions & capers it was one of the best that I have had in awhile. I may ask for extra cream cheese, as I thought it was a little light.
