Ok this is my go to place for a quick meal. I love the Arby's app!! I always find out what's new and get better deals and lots of free stuff through the app...for example when potato cakes came back, free fries or any size fry for a dollar,ect... I also usually place my order via app, so it's ready for pickup when I walk in. It never fails for me, yay! I'm in and out with my food which is great because the line is always long!!! I'm giving a 5 star in the sense that this is one of the nicest Arby's I've been in. I ought to take a point off for a few factors such as some tables are not wiped down, but you can usually find one that has been. The food prices are reasonable compared to other options in the area, the staff is friendly and nice, and the clientele is among the best behaved. The food is also delicious. The classics menu is astonishing and better than other places that charge, no exaggeration, 3X the price. We all know about the classic Arby sandwich, but I discovered the deli/classics menu about 2 years ago and have become a fanatic: Greek Gyros, Ruebens, and even a (limited time) Cheesesteak! They are close to the sandwiches in the high end places. Not 100%, but 90%. The curly fries are the best of any of the chains. Again, these are quibbles but put in context of the value: I wish they served coffee which is a staple for most restaurants particularly fast food. I have not visited Arby's in a couple of years and I'm not sure if I will visit again. The place was clea and the employees were friendly, but painfully slow. The food was hot and bland. Curly fries were hot and crispy;but lacked seasoning. The beef and cheddar did not have much flavor, roast beef was not good, cheese was not good and I realized on my last bite, the onion roll did not have any onions, tasted like a generic regular roll. So...Arby's. It seems to be a love it or hate it situation for many. There is also the question of whether it is fast food, or is it not. I'll try to sum up my stand on Arby's in general, as well as this particular location. I personally love the variety that is offered...from healthier options to decidedly not. When the Garden Fresh Chicken Salad Sandwich is in season, that is all that I order. To me, the chicken salad with pecans and grapes paired with crispy lettuce and thick slices of multigrain bread is absolute perfection. I've also read that others rate it as the worst sandwich ever...which I can't personally comprehend :-P but whatever. It's a free country! When there is no chicken salad sandwich option, the chicken strips, sliders, French dip sandwich, and other variants of their roast beef and turkey sandwiches are always solid options. For sides, curly fries are a guilty pleasure that I still don't know why I actually like, but I do. Crinkle fries are a more recent alternative to curly fries and they are pretty good when fresh. Then there are actual mozzarella sticks with marinara...not the lookalikes that some fast food places have tried to pass off as such. For dessert, I will usually grab some apple turnovers that are always served warm. Occasionally I will give in and get a jamocha shake...although I'm not a mega-fan like some. All in all, it's hard to imagine anyone going in and not finding something that they will like. Now, is it fast food or not? Well, some locations I would say maybe...because the speed is there, it's just the menu variety that sets it apart. This location however, don't go there if you're in a hurry! Even the most patient will have that patience tested here. The staff is friendly, and the food is served fresh and I've never had anything missing, but they are far from "fast" here. Anyway, if you have 10 or 15min "extra" time, then this location could serve up something you will love...or at least like a lot...ot maybe just think it's okay...or maybe a not you, it's me situation. Who knows? But if you like Arby's and are willing to wait, this location could satisfy your cravings! Oh...and besides the Chicken Salad Sandwich. The "Wagyu" Burger is also gone. Wise move on the latter...as it was apparently 51% "American Wagyu" which is itself only 50% Wagyu beef. So...yeah...and it wasn't good anyway. Happy yelping y'all! read more

I'm not a big fan of fast food, but the crispy CURLY fries are delicious! The seasoning and crispiness is spot on with just the perfect amount of fries in the small size. They are a steal for only $1 (the small is slightly bigger than the Kid size). Happy Hour starts early with dollar afternoon specials from 2-5pm for fries, shake, cookie, and a couple of other menu items. Glad I took the cashier's recommendation to go for the small size over the Kids and snagged the special! The White Cheddar Mac and Cheese is horrendous and hands-down the WORST mac and cheese I've ever had. I wasn't expecting gourmet mac and cheese, but for $3.39 - total rip-off. I was expecting it to be on the dollar menu. I threw in the towel just after 1 bite and nearly gagged. It left a sour taste and a sore spot for the review. That being said, we actually do like Arby's in general because they are more like a hybrid fast food deli and not just fried food. Been going to this location in Merrifield for sometime. It is now, conveniently, across the street from where my son works so I decided to surprise him & drop off some breakfast and I grabbed it to go. FYI, there is no drive-thru so you have to go inside. Arby's always has great menu items but this location has something special; a wonderful employee named Kira! She is amazing and makes you feel like you're actually in a family restaurant. She also knew all the employees where my son works and you could tell she really takes an interest in her guests. The customer service that she gives is above and beyond and you walk out of there feeling like you just made a new friend! She is the most outgoing, warm, friendly, caring, and hospitable person I think I've ever met! She truly makes this place unique! read more

5/6/22 Earlier in the week, I saw a sign for boneless chicken wings. After a massage and buying a movie from Dollar Video, I stopped by Arby's where they have the meat. They also have employee shirts with different slogans on them. So far I like the shirt that says "When In Doubt Add Bacon." Excellent advise, even if Wilber wouldn't agree. Every once in awhile, I like a good roast beef sandwich. Arbys has the meats! I really do like their roast beef sandwiches, as they are flavorful. Even the rolls are of high quality. Also I like their curly fries and delicious shakes. Here they shine, and also this is an extremely clean location. It's convenient to just about anything in the area. Plenty of parking here too. Do not get the food to go. The sandwiches are very difficult to reheat. Eat there or don't bother... that said, their curly fries are clutch! Those fries can be reheated. Buy extra fries. 2 Large fries will give you more than 3 small. Desserts here are not worth it, unless you are in dire need of a shake. Those are good. BLT sandwich was a let down. There aren't a whole lot of Arby's around, so when I was in the Falls Church/Merrifield area, decided to stop by for breakfast. I haven't been to an Arby's in probably 5 years or more. I thought I ordered the Sausage, Egg and Cheese Croissant meal, but never got a receipt so not sure what I was charged. I had already driven away and started sipping on my fountain drink which was tasted like they forgot to replace the syrup. Then, I took a bite of my breakfast sandwich and noticed the egg was missing, the sausage was hard and burnt (maybe microwaved for a little bit too long) then it left a grindy, sandy taste in my mouth. I was chewing on sand (you know like when you eat clams that still have grindy sand/soil in them). It kept me coughing for awhile -- it was disgusting!!! The Apple Turnover and hash browns were decent, but I will probably not be coming back here again. I ended up driving to McDonalds for a breakfast sandwich. I did call the store to let them know but there didn't seem like there was much they could do. The manager mentioned the sandwich doesn't come with an egg, which I double checked the online menu after the call ... and according to the Arby's online menu it does. Stopped in for a quick dinner one evening. I was a bit surprised to find they didn't have a drive through. The location is difficult to access from the main roads and parking is sparse. In I go and the first impression was not amazing. It was very dimly lit which made me feel uncomfortable. I can understand ambience but I seriously doubt that is what they were going for. I would have stayed to eat in but the whole vibe was just off. Ordering was easy and the service was fast. The roast beef sandwich I got was just okay. The chocolate shake was so thin it was like chocolate milk! Most of that went into the trash. I have been to other locations that make amazing shakes and have a better overall presentation. Came here again today since I left Quiznos hungry. I ordered the #1 which is the Classic, and waited for it. I get it and put some sauce on it and a couple of small cups of sauce for my fries. The food wasn't really that good. I don't know how long they keep the meat warm before serving, but it wasn't that great either. The fries were like the last time I ate here, and that was at room temp. I don' t know what's up with serving food like this, but I won't be coming here again. This used to be a Roy Rogers now it's an Arby's. It's in a horrible location right at the intersection of Gallows and Lee Highway. Aside from the massive construction project going on (which is really bad) - you can't turn left from either exit so going North on Route 29 or West on Gallows is a real pain. OK so Arby's is a franchise fast-food joint right? So how do you get two stars if you are making production line food? Cleanliness and service that's how. The service isn't all that bad, but the cleanliness in this store is just awful. I've been here several times and it's always the same. Food particles all over the tables, seating and carpet. The trash receptacles are so full you can't even stuff any more inside. So when that happens what follows? People start leaving their trays on the tables and the situation compounds. I went to use the bathroom once and it looked like someone literally chucked a bucket of soapy water into the room and left it like that. There was like an inch of standing water in there. Are you serious? Finally, the air conditioning for the restaurant is way too weak for all the windows surrounding the dining area. If it's a sunny summer day just forget it. It will be steamy hot and uncomfortable and unacceptable for dining. There is no drive through at this location so if you go here, grab your food to go and you will be alright. Once they took my order, that got out in about 2 minutes, so not bad.
