Roadrunner is our absolute favorite coffee/matcha/lunch/brunch place! Their menu is perfection! The quality and service are always exceptional. The Tuscan chicken sandwich and parfait are 10/10.

This coffee shop is around the corner from my work and it is a very cute spot! It's esthetically pleasing because it's clean, bright and has a very open space with multiple seating arrangements. They even have a cute space for children. I've only been there a couple of times, but I want to go more often! It is most certainly a busy place, but they are also pretty quick at serving you. I've had their Brekkie Burrito which was to die for! I've also had a couple bites of their Sandstone Sammie which was delish. The food tastes clean, is mostly organic, seed oil free and very flavorable. They also have vegetarian options for those looking. Yesterday I ordered a Carrot Cake Latte from their Spring Specials menu and it was so so good! If you love carrot cake, that is most definitely for you. My Manager was with me and she ordered the same latte, and wanted to try their Pink Guava Lemonade too. I had a sip of that and it was very refreshing and a perfect summer drink, so I hope they keep it on the menu! I will be back...

Love coming to try out newer coffee shops. And this one did not disappoint. Right smack in the middle of downtown Redlands where all the goodies are at. This coffee shop is modern, very well designed/decorated, sells their own merch, and is kids friendly. They are spacious for something of its kind, has a kids corner, staff are welcoming and efficient, not only was my coffee delicious but my salad was even better! I'm looking forward to spending more time here.

matcha cloud (vanilla, matcha, coconut water)

I bought their seasonal matcha cloud drink and it came out quickly for being a packed house on a Sunday evening. The drink itself had a beautiful green color, but had a vegetal matcha taste that wasn't the most appealing (and I love a savory matcha). The coconut cream top added a hint of sweetness. Every time I sipped it, I questioned why they chose it as a signature seasonal drink. It was still refreshing due to the use of coconut water. They do have a sign that urges you to get your drink adjusted if you're not satisfied. I love the cafe interior here because it's so bright and welcoming. I appreciated their variety in seating, such as the solo bay-window seats, regular table seats, bar-chairs, and large booth seats. I was able to study fairly comfortably, especially because they had outlets! I'll definitely try their other teas and coffees another time because I'm sure they have done better!

    Flat white, mocha, latte

Went there on a Sunday afternoon. I was greeted by someone at the front. It's really bright decor inside. Wanted to try something new in Redlands and wanted to make sure that they served in real glasses. I got the flat white my daughter's got a mocha and a latte in glassware. I asked about the blend and it had Ethiopian and Colombian mix. I could taste the bite of the Ethiopian bean when I drank the flat white. Not a fan of Ethiopian coffee, but it still was a good cup of coffee. Unfortunately, I saw cockroach underneath the table there. I would say it's a decent place to go. I just don't think I like the blend of coffee there. But it's worth anyone giving a try.

this has become one of my favorite local cafes. their coffee and food are both soo good with a fun variety. i love the aesthetic inside but not a great location for long study sessions. perfect for breakfast dates though! their breakfast sandwich, parfait, and vanilla latte are my favorites items! would def recommend as an all around good spot for vibes, drinks, and food

From Left to Right: Chocolate milk and a Flat White.
    Chris H.

We ordered the flat white and cold chocolate milk both with oat milk. The drinks were very good. The flat white had a strong coffee flavor and went down smooth with no bitterness. Server was friendly and service was prompt. Ambiance of the place was inviting with rock music playing through the air, a good number of patrons sitting and enjoying their drinks, and an ample amount of seats. We enjoyed our time in this quaint shop and we would come back here again

The Roadrunner is an eye pleasing stunner with a kids corner that makes this a little bit funner. Coffee is fire just like Joe Strummer! You can't afford to pass this place up because if you do it would be a bummer. If the drinks are good now then I can hardly wait for the summer. But if I do?! I'd feel like Dumb and Dumber! I can't let that happen so I'll be on it like a twenty four seven plumber! Riding in s supped up Hummer. ????

Roadrunner Coffee is such a great addition to downtown Redlands! Whether I'm looking for a place to study, catch up with friends, or just enjoy a good coffee, this spot always delivers. The atmosphere is welcoming and has plenty of space to settle in for a while. The food and drinks are consistently on point, and everything I've tried has been delicious. It's quickly become one of my favorite places in the area, and I always look forward to stopping by whenever I'm downtown.

    Carrot Cake Latte

Carrot Cake Latte was wonderful! If a latte and carrot had a baby! It was a spring special but I'm so glad I tried it! I could taste all the flavors in the perfect balance! There was even a baby carrot on top! Service was superb! I love the whimsical attitude from the barista. Ambiance was super chill and warm. Give 'em an espresso shot and wander downtown! It's well worth it!

This super cute little coffee shop just opened in October and it is amazing. The coffee is so good, and I love that they're very kid-oriented. They even have a little kids' play area with a mini coffee shop setup, which is adorable. It makes it such a great spot for moms to gather and actually enjoy their drinks while the kids stay entertained. This isn't really a quiet study or work-from-your-laptop type of place, it's more of a gathering and conversation kind of coffee shop, which I personally love. The servers are super friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the whole place has this charming desert coffee shop vibe. When you walk in, it just feels warm and welcoming. Such a cute spot with a really cool atmosphere. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend checking it out!

    Gingerbread Latte and Citrus Bloom
    Canary H.

Parking was a synch for a Sunday morning! We parked in the back and made our way to the coffee shop. The line was insane and constant. It was difficult finding a table to do work at and we felt very discouraged. There were a lot of people saving the tables instead of ordering first. Their WiFi also did not work, since it was packed inside. We ordered their gingerbread latte and a citrus bloom. Their gingerbread latte was very sweet. I couldn't taste my coffee. The citrus bloom was full of citrus. It was okay. It resembled the orange chocolate balls that you would buy during the holiday season. The servers weren't the nicest. They seem stressed. It was chaotic and noisy inside, so not super ideal for work, even with headphones on. Needless to say, I don't think we'd be back on a weekend. Probably will attempt a weekday in the future.

Carrot cake iced latte (I went decaf) & coffee cake
    Kei M.

On par with the other reviews, this is a hopping coffee shop but the line runs smoothly & quickly! I checked out the Carrot Cake Latte special & it was so flavorful & fun! It was served on the best pebble ice & with a baby carrot to top. The cold foam was a real treat to balance the spices of the latte, I would recommend! I also got the last slice of coffee cake (it was 3:30p after all) for an afternoon treat which was delicious as well. Instead of a dryer dense coffee cake, it was fluffy and spongy with nice swirls of cinnamon inside. Can't wait to come back to try their other pastries in the box. I appreciated that they said they generally keep anything with nuts in a separate container to avoid cross contamination. That is usually a struggle to verify ingredients when ordering at cafes and pastry boxes, so that was such a nice piece of mind. If you don't mind a short wait, you're in for a nice treat at RoadRunner Coffee

We seated ourselves at our favorite raised table in the corner on the far side of the bar. My husband and I stuck to traditional cocktails, and old fashioned and a Negroni. Our friends chose signature cocktails: the Turbo Granny and the Electric Feel. Now the Electric Feel was not just a drink, it was an experience. Our server explained to our friend that he should sip a little of the drink, then chew the Szechuan buzz bud for about 15 seconds, letting it coat his whole tongue, then enjoy the rest of the drink which would taste different afterwards. Our friend went through all those steps and said it was incredible, like all the flavors were enhanced along with different sensations in his mouth, kind of numb and tingly. His wife was not satisfied with his description of the experience, so she bought a Szechuan buzz bud for $2 and she said it was kind of like pop rocks. These buzz bud looks just like a little flower bud like the end of a dandelion once the seeds are blown away. It comes from a plant. Totally fascinating! We enjoyed our one cocktail each here and just had great conversation. It was a fun night because of the company, and also because we had a little adventure going to two amazing places!

We decided on weekend brunch, especially since there were endless mimosas. Our kids have a recollection of being down the class umbrella alleyway, so they were amazed when they saw it. A short while later, we were in front of the restaurant and were quickly seated by the staff. They didn't ask if we preferred outdoor or indoor seating, but we were seated inside right next to the kitchen. We heard that indoor seating was better for service anyway. The interior of the restaurant was "very fancy," and my daughter thought we were in a date spot. We knew we wanted French fries and opted for the garlic Parmesan fries. At first, the kids were weirded out by the arugula, but my daughter ended up enjoying it, noting the bitter and salty notes. My son devoured the entire plate (not the arugula) and asked for another round. We also ordered the lemon ricotta French toast, made from Brioche bread, lemon blackberry butter, whipped lemon ricotta cream, blackberries, mint, and maple syrup. They perfected the crispy exterior, which contrasted well with the fluffy bread. My wife ordered the breakfast pizza--a focaccia pizza topped with marinara, ham, spinach, fresh tomato, red onion, a sunny-side-up egg, and herb-infused maple syrup. This was really delicious with the tart, fresh tomatoes, the salty ham, and the sweet maple syrup. I ended up eating the sunny-side egg by itself, so we didn't get to try the pizza with the egg. Lastly, I ordered the steak and eggs, but it was sadly a small portion. I ordered it medium rare, and it came out medium. The seasoning was a bit strange and would have been better with simple salt, pepper, and garlic. The mimomas really made my wife happy. She started feeling it pretty quickly. She chose the pineapple juice while I got the traditional orange. Not sure if the alcohol made the food better or the other way around. I was brought to reality when I saw the expensive bill, though.

I hadn't been in a few months, and decided to drop in this morning to eat, have coffee and edit photos on my laptop. During the several hours there, I got to overhear exchanges between customers and staff. The morning shift boys were young, but friendly. Let me tell you, once the day shift crew came on, the energy shifted. Andy, I HIGHLY recommend you replace the tall, thin guy with the glasses. The whole time he was there, he acted as if he didn't want to be there. He was rude, stand offish, and completely disregarded customers. As soon as he BLATANTLY ignored a female customer who was trying to have a conversation with him but gave attention to her male counterpart, I was over it. Listen, I get it, he might have not wanted to entertain someone's story. But customer service means to acknowledge the customer and treat them with respect. I can't even count the amount of times I've divulged in conversation with people I didn't want to, but I still treated them like a human. The woman was visibility upset about how off putting he was. I packed my things, went over to the woman and told her feelings were valid because he had been dismissive towards others ever since he came in. I know you're not going to care about my review, I know you're not going to lose much money if I never come back. But people need to aware what kind of employees are here. As for the food and coffee - The ingredients no longer taste fresh on the breakfast pizza. It tastes cheap and rushed. The iced vanilla latte I had was mid at best, I forced myself to finish it. Which is disappointing because I have loved both for years. I think the young boys need some better training on how to make coffee, but at least they were personable. The young guy with long curly hair - keep up that positive energy. You're gonna go somewhere. Highly recommend bringing Quay back full time, maybe make him a manager or part owner because every time I've been there and he's makes the pizzas, everything is He's a staple, and is clearly loved by all the customers who were happy to see him when he walked in. Also, maybe put the birch back on the empty corner wall, looks like someone ripped it off and it looks bad.
