I saw a Facebook review about this coffee shop - got curious about it because it has many positive reviews and I was surprised since it was near where I work at. As I walked in the café, the vibe was already so chic and nice. The owner and staff were also friendly and nice enough to suggest a drink since it was my first time. Although it took a while to get my order because it was pretty packed, everything was good! I ordered their Crater Coffee, and it was pretty delicious. I also bought the Chocolate Croissant - I liked how buttery and soft the bread was & the chocolate was filling, too. It was, overall, a good coffee shop experience! This is such a nice coffee shop, it is deceiving large inside. It is like a blast from the past in the best way possible. They have a candle shop, a plant shop, and cute little trinkets for sale. They also have freshly made sourdough bread for sale. We had the Crater (hot) and the Spacecraft (iced) along with a vegetable quiche that was well seasoned. There is plenty of seating inside and some tables and chairs outside as well. But they are VERY popular so even today on a Tue around noon it was PACKED we were lucky to find a spot. The sraff is very friendly and answer any questions you have. It's my bday and they wrote happy birthday on my cup . When the staff would pass where we were seated they would tell me HBD which o thought was nice. When we left again one of the staff wished me HBD again and even said bye to my husbad by name. The fact they remembered his name after about an hr and all the dri ks they had made we thought was impressive . This review is a cumulative review of about five total trips: Food/Drink: There are plenty of pastries offered but i've only tried the coffee cake they once offered. It was fair priced, a large slice, good presentation, good amount of crumble, not dry, and not too sweet. My mom enjoyed hers as well. As for the coffee, it is amazing. I tried the iced oat milk meteorite latte and it was absolutely amazing. I usually ask for half sweet, but the drinks here are, as the owner said, "balanced." That is my go to drink. My mom loves their matcha. I've had it as well and it is just as amazing. They had a strawberry matcha with strawberry sauce at the bottom and strawberry cold foam on top. However, the sauce was too sweet for us so we did plain matcha and strawberry foam and it was 10/10. I wish they brought this one back. They now have like a triple matcha that is also really good. It is matcha with matcha foam and a matcha dust. Really great. Service: The service is really great. The employees are welcoming, patient, and kind. I also really appreciate that the cafe accepts reusable cups. That says a lot about their environmental conscious. This is actually one of the reasons I return. I do not need a discount on the coffee for using my own reusable cup, however this might incentivize others to bring their own and return. A rewards program would also be good. Ambiance: Plenty of seating -- plenty. There is a bus inside with plants for sale. There are a lot of retro and vintage trinkets with a hint of plants and space. I enjoy that there are couches as well as tables and chairs. There are outlets available but I think there could be more. One reason why I do not tend to work here though is because it gets so hot there in the summer. They do have fans but, I like a nice cool environment. There is plenty of parking as well. Update June 2026: My party ordered the Hot Chocolate and Crater coffee drinks with oat milk. My brother enjoyed his drink and I enjoyed mine. First time, I had a coffee drink with graham on top but it added sweet and savory notes to the drink's flavor profile. The coffee drink was sweet but not overpowering and I could taste the white chocolate. Service was good. Barista was attentive and knowledgeable. I wanted something accentuated with chocolate and he pointed me to the Crater. Ambiance was inviting. There was jazz music playing softly in the air, enough comfortable couches to sit and relax to get work done, and the place was filled with patrons. Firstly, finding this space was a little challenging to find, but worth it! We aren't from the Redlands we were just visiting and wanted to drop in on a local shop. The espresso was so delicious my husband got rocket fuel and I did the meteorite. Absolutely delicious not too sweet-- and the espresso still shines! I cannot do sweet coffee drowned in caramel sauce. Now the space is very nice but it can be a bit loud with the nearby space having Zumba. The atmosphere is more alive than your average coffee shop but there are spaces where you can sit to be away from the chatter as well. The coolest coffee house I've ever been in. My girlfriend's been telling me about it and I'm so glad we finally came. Fireproof Coffee is just perfection. That is literally the word that comes to mind. I enjoyed my coffee so much, I had neglected to take any photos! The coffee shop is really cool. It's space themed and just has a super chill vibe. The service is fantastic, the employees here make you feel like you matter. And the coffee itself is delicious. Fireproof Coffee is one of my favorite hidden gem cafés. I honestly didn't even realize it was there at first, even though I've been to a nearby boba shop in the same plaza. It's kind of tucked away, which makes finding it feel like a nice surprise. The space inside is really big and thoughtfully designed, and their menu is super creative. Even though it was topped with a generous amount of honeycomb, the coffee was strong and not too sweet. I ordered the red rover (a strawberry matcha). So my son recommended me to try this place out. Great spot! I ordered the Afterglow. It's matcha with pandan cf and hint of coconut. Sorry forgot the details of the drink but I did customize it with oat milk. Love it! The decor is nice and establishment is pretty spacious with great amount of sitting area. Fireproof is such a vibe!!! I love the drinks here and the staff is super kind and friendly. It truly feels like a neighborhood spot. The entire staff including Brian and Tim make you feel welcomed and it seems like everyone cares about their job, which is awesome. I tried their AfterGlow recently which was matcha with pandan and it was super bomb. My favorite of all time remains to be the META MATCHA, which is an iced triple matcha beverage and contains dairy (matcha foam). The brownies and cookies by Nate's Desserts are also super fire. The moment I walked in, I was met with a warm, jazzy, comfortable, and peaceful ambiance. There's a little hallway you walk through until you come across aesthetically pleasing merch. I came across a few friends from school, and I begin to understand why this place is recommended by many people in the San Bernardino area. There seems to always be a line, but it goes quite quickly. If you want to avoid the crowd, come as soon as the cafe opens! I've been told that is the best time especially when you want to find a place that suits your need - a sofa or circular table to hold a conversation or an outlet to plug in your device to study. This first time I visited I ordered a hot decaf latte with almond milk. This amounted to about $4.50, which is much well priced and worthwhile compared to majority of the other cafes that I've been to. I got to interact with Michelle, who helped me out today in taking my order. Sharing the same name, I'm biased to say Michelle is a wonderful name! Above all, I just want to highlight her kindness. I received my latte so well. The milk was foamed and creamy. Other drink options seem quite fun to explore as they uniquely present each drink on the wall with a poster. There are kids playing in the back - riding their bikes and dragging their mom's bags. Time to time, a fitness studio blasts exciting music. This shop is Fire and Eye have the Proof! So freaking dope from the floor to the Roof! I'm straight up going to say this coffee shop has set the bar for everyone in the inland Empire. I started off with the Milky Way that came with a blend of macadamia and creamy vanilla and it was pretty good. The coffee did overpower the flavors a little bit but I was ok with it. My second drink was their Fireproof Latte and this also had macadamia but with white chocolate, a little similar to my first one but different after each sip. I've been to this place about three times and it is my top two coffee shops from the Redlands area. It is up there w/ slow bloom and I wouldn't know which one to pick. The meteorite latte with oat milk is great and so is there strawberry matcha (I order it without the strawberry puree, only the strawberry foam). One thing about me I will run out if they have pre made generic syrups and Costco boxed shelf stable oat and almond milks. I need them to have Oatly, califia, or minor figures all barista blend. They have just this and the sauces are quite delicious not overwhelmingly sweet, not chemical-y at all, and perfect amount of ice. Huge plus they accept my own cup as well. The ambience and setting is very unique. It's located in like a bodega with the two big door open. Plenty of retro vintage decor and it gives sort or like a 90s Sci fi vibe. I don't know how I feel about studying here long term during hot days. There's no AC but there are plenty of fans. Yet, I am used to studying and being in cold cool places. There is plenty of seating though and parking and that is a BIG PLUS and advantage over slow bloom which has little seating and parking. The customer service is very good. I went in the second time and the cashier already knew my name. Not a single complaint as of now on any employee. I will say they are rather slow to both take orders and get the coffee to you. They could speed things up a bit. If you're in a hurry I wouldn't go here. If you have 15-20 mins then this is a good place to go. read more

Great coffee shop! This coffee shop is located in a large warehouse garage. There's tons of seating and it's very trendy. I was worried it would be really hot as there's no AC but there's enough air flow and shade to keep it relatively cool most days unless it's REALLY HOT. It's a very popular place for students to come study. Their drinks are amazing and still reasonably priced. About $7 for a strawberry matcha and $6 for a flavored latte. This is one of the only places I enjoy matcha at. Plenty of parking. 2 clean bathrooms. WiFi - but it's been really spotty lately unfortunately. They also sell plants and lots of merch.
