    Strawberry Matcha + Cappuccino

Cute spot. Decent drinks. Unique and interesting menu. Only bummer is it's closed on weekends - so if possible check it out!

Located on West Fourth Street in San Bernardino, Abstraction Coffee is the closest Coffee Shop to my workplace. They use their own freshly roasted coffee and house made syrups to serve high quality coffee and matcha. The interior of this coffee shop is nicely decorated, but it has limited seating space. Michael and Cynthia, the owners of this Coffee Shop are very nice and helpful. At that same time, they also make excellent coffee. I tried their Ube Coconut Matcha Latte, and it was so good and refreshing. The price is a little high, but it seems fair considering the quality of coffee and matcha.

I wanted to try all of the coffee drinks but I ended up trying the mole dulce and cajeta latte.

I come here every once in a while after church on sundays whenever i'm in redlands and bro somehow…read moreevery time it's ALWAYS different menu. Slow Bloom always has a rotated seasonal menu that literally reads like poetry. like wdym i have the option to get a Whimsical Strawberry Magic Cheesecake Latte???? i love hojicha more than regular matcha (before the "uuurm, actually--" comments i know they're both matcha) BUT MY FRIENDS STILL CALLED ME PERFORMATIVEEEE?? and do i care? HELL NAH. Hojicha tastes like a nuttier, cocoa-like, more roasted version of matcha, and Slow Bloom does Hojicha GREAT... close with all the drink cafes in KTown.... BUT IN THE INLAND EMPIRE BABY. it was so smooth, whisked, and CREAMY. the vanilla cream top really topped it off, it was perfectly balanced and not insanely sweet. BUT THE MATCHA IS FANTASTIC HERE TOO. i tried a sip of my friend's matcha latte and it was POTENT. ur not gonna get a light green matcha... it'll be dark, yet smooth and not bitter at all. definitely one of the top matchas in the IE. the coffee selection here are so unique, and you can tell they GENUINELY care about have high quality options and varieties (their drip options are plentiful, include origins, and flavor profiles... i see all you pretentious connoisseurs--)

4/15/2026 Stumbled…read moreupon this place as I was in the area post-Yelp Elite Event. What a happy find! DULCE DE COCO (Limited Menu Item) Got it as a hot drink. Creamy, fluffy foam, coconutty flavor with a bit of caramel sweetness, dark chocolate espresso and alotta cinnamon flavor. Deliciously perfect for a Fall or Winter drink! This drink took me by surprise! Really enjoyed it! CHOCOLATE SEMOLINA OLIVE OIL LOAF It wasn't bad, but a bit disappointed that it was straight up chocolate loaf. Technically, it is more of a cocoa loaf, as it is not sweet nor is there chocolate in it. However, it had a lovely spongy, bouncy texture. Flavor-wise, it's nothing special especially with the long name and all. SUNSHINE MATCHA LATTE (Iced) Nekohama matcha. Latte was a bit sweet. But you can taste the Earl Grey and matcha. Got it with whole milk. It made it creamy, which was good. I did taste a hint of lemon in it as well. Honestly did not like that extra lemon flavor, as it distracted from the Earl Grey itself. I don't think the lemon was necessary. There was citrus flavor, but not tartness. I think citrus peel would have been better if they wanted an extra citrus flavor. Overall, it wasn't bad except the lemon flavor. Really threw me off. CUSTOMER SERVICE Service was nice. Recommended drinks were good. INDOOR & OUTDOOR SEATS A-PLENTY Ambiance had a retro feel, which was fun. Indoor was packed! No tables or seats available. Smaller tables for 2. Outdoor tables and seats were available. Big groups can be seated outdoors with larger tables. Bathroom available. PARKING LOT Small-ish parking lot. Parking lot was packed. Given how packed it was inside, there were a few spots for parking. There is also free street parking as well. Love the drink options here and would love to return when I'm in the area!

The inside has a really cozy and aesthetic vibe, and one thing I thought was super cool is that you can actually sit and draw, then put your artwork up in the shop. It gives the place a really creative and community feel that makes it stand out from other tea spots. The worker was super nice and helpful, especially since I was being really indecisive about what to get. They took their time to explain things and helped me decide without making it feel rushed at all. I got the matcha latte, and I absolutely loved it. It was smooth, well balanced, and just really comforting without being too heavy or overly sweet. I also tried a few drinks off my friends' orders, like the Assam + Oat and the Barley + Sea Cream. The Assam + Oat had a really deep, bold tea flavor that paired nicely with the creamy oat milk, making it smooth but still strong. The Barley + Sea Cream was more unique, with a light roasted, nutty taste from the barley and a rich, slightly salty cream top that made it really interesting and different in a good way. It's a really cozy spot that highlights the tea experience in a simple but thoughtful way, and I'd definitely come back.

A craving for boba, means a need for a boba adventure! We stumbled upon Hoji after browsing for…read moregood boba on our way home. Hoji shared the same parking lot with a coffee shop we're familiar with! On a Sunday afternoon, there was plenty of parking. When you walk up to the store, there isn't a sign on the outside. Before walking in, there's also a posted sign that says only 10 people at a time. We counted about 6 people, and proceeded to walk in. The decor is timeless and vintage. Super cool to look at and enjoy. We turned around and there was the cashier. It definitely is a small as can be. We took a bit of time looking at the menu and then deciding our drinks. We were a bit indecisive, but settled on their Rose Salted Cream and their Hojicha Black Sesame. The cashier was a bit interesting and didn't bother to help us or explain anything. He had us repeat our order a few times out of inattentiveness. It wasn't loud in there, but he definitely wasn't listening. Immediately after our order, he goes on his phone. Another worker had finished making a drink for a customer, and had to nudge the cashier to let him know the drink was ready. Even then, he wasn't on alert about it and made a face at the customer who stood up to grab the drink. Our drinks came out fairly quickly. We took our photos and left to sit in the car. It was quite small and stuffy in there. Our drinks were delightful! You can definitely taste the hojicha. The black sesame didn't overpower the drink, as for the rose salted cream, it was flowery enough. The boba itself was definitely handmade and perfectly chewy. I can understand why this store's drinks are a favorite. I deducted a star because of the service and attitude. We walked out the door saying goodbye, and even then, they didn't seem to care. The customer service here is lacking, but at least the drinks are decent. I might wait to see if any changes are made to their workers before coming back to try again.

At this point, it's less "Where should we eat?" and more "See you at Masamigos?" They've truly become our amigos. A tight crew of hard working humans out there in a church parking lot, pressing comfort and familiarity into freshly made corn tortillas like it's a calling. There's something poetic about eating tacos under umbrellas in a parking lot that feels more like a neighborhood block party than a food stop. The tortillas are made fresh, the fillings are generous, and every bite tastes like someone actually cares. And then there's the coffee. Not an afterthought. Not a side quest. Killer coffee. The kind that makes you consider ordering a second cup "for the road" that you absolutely drink before you even turn the key in the ignition. It's simple. It's honest. It's consistent. Masamigos isn't just a taco stop anymore, it's part of the routine. And honestly, if a church parking lot is where weekly joy is being served on a warm tortilla, that feels spiritually aligned.
