Really light matcha flavor sweetened with strawberry cold foam. They also gave me the option of having the strawberry preserves at the bottom or cold foam on top. I went with the lesser sweet option.
This is definitely a cool little grab and go spot in Da Hood or the neighborhood I should say. They be Grinding out some sweet and tasty coffee drinks for their area. I started off with their Darth Chocolate which was a blend of dark chocolate and mini chocolate chips to make it extra fun to sip. The Springfield was next and this had lavender syrup topped with blueberry cold foam to make it a super sweet and flavorful drink. Both drinks delivered with flavor but for me the espresso wasn't strong but that's just me as everyone has a different tolerance for caffeine. The service was good and it's pretty much a grab and go since there is no seats and one two seater couch. They do have an arcade game to pass the time as you wait for your drink. Since this city doesn't have many shops it's good for the demographic. The parking is scarce so be warned. And that's my take on it, Peace out...
This coffee shop was well worth the wait! Came in here on a Saturday afternoon & the line was sooo long, but I heard such great things about this establishment I had to stay! A moody coffee grab & go coffee shop was the vibe. It was for sure worth every single minute. From the friendliness of the staff to the deliciousness of the coffee. Every thing was so EXCELLENT that i came by the next day! I tried the Mazapan Latte based off a friend recommendation. They cannot modify the latte & let you know while you're ordering it. As well as they let you know there's still hints of dairy. Definitely recommend trying this latte if you decide to stop by. They also offer a flan drizzle with this drink, be sure to try it!
Stumbled on this amazing coffee shop while delivering a Sam's order to them. The employee was very kind and gave me a free coffee which was a mazapán latte! I have gone in a number of times since staff is always welcoming and the vibe is amazing! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for small local coffee shops.Also there's horchata latte is delicious
First time here and it is kinda hidden. Was a little tricky for parking but I got lucky and was able to find a spot. It was busy when I went but the lane moved pretty fast. It's small inside and doesn't have an area to lounge if you were looking for that but the staff is nice and helpful. I created my own drink and got Three shots of espresso with sugar-free white chocolate, mocha with almond milk, and vanilla cold foam and cinnamon over ice.
The coffee shop is small yet spacious inside. They don't have much seating for customers. It's more like an order, grab your coffee, and you go on with your day. The dude at the counter was super friendly and explained the drinks. The pictures on the wall are awesome and it gives Rialto vibes. The best part is they have an arcade for their guests meanwhile they wait. The coffee was phenomenal and tastes great. I truly recommend this pace to coffee lovers. I suggest you go early cause there was a long line even upon opening.

Just visited the hood grind coffee for the first time today the location is hidden in a little nook in downtown Rialto so just put it in your maps so you find it right away. I ordered the Springfield which has their lavender blueberry foam it was a 10/10 flavor wise and very delicious. You can tell they care about the quality of their ingredients here which is what I appreciate.
Customer service here is always so warm and welcoming and the associates are also very personable! The vibe is fun but I will say this is not a coffee shop to come and work and chill with your friends, definitely a grab and go. As far as the drinks they do have matcha but I don't think it's their specialty they use syrups when I was in assumption they use purées, which in my opinion purées enhance matcha extensively. Their coffees and chai, so far, are my favorite and of course they have frescas and chocolate milk for the kids! In addition to English muffins as a food option with different spreads or butter of your choice. They also have a fridge for drinks you can purchase to grab and go. To top it off Pokémon cards you can look through and snag a few for funsies! So far a place I don't mind coming to but definitely have figured out what I will order over other options.

Left is Southern Kiss, right is some kinda matcha my lady loved but I forgot the name. Southern kiss is bomb. Wish the place had more seating while waiting but well worth the wait.

Visited on a Sunday around noon & the line was mostly people waiting for their drinks, parking can be slim but it's well worth the wait. Staff was super friendly & had great suggestions.

Right in the heart of downtown Rialto, just off Riverside Ave. From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but step inside and there's a vibe and atmosphere that feels real and authentic. The artwork and name say a lot about a part of the city that isn't polished, but is full of culture and character. This was actually the first local coffee shop I tried when moving here about a year ago, but I didn't think much of it at the time. Fast forward to now, and I'm in LOVE with the fall menu! The pumpkin tasted like a slice of pie in my mouth, and the pecan was equally delicious. Can't believe I waited so long to go back! More of a grab-and-go spot, but the staff are cool, the drinks are , and the vibe alone is worth checking out! read more
Omg the way this drink stole my heart today! Well played Hood Grind. Well played! I had originally ordered the matcha with the pumpkin base and a pistachio foam. They were kind enough to let me know their matcha barista blend comes sweet so with the pumpkin AND on top of that the foam it would have been way too sweet so we settled for no pumpkin. I appreciate the staff and taking the time to ensure the drink was made in a way I would enjoy. I also didn't have to wait long and I got to lounge while I waited for my drink. This is a pick up and go location. There's only a couch. Place is a vibe though and is cute. I think they would benefit from a few more seats. Looking forward to another matcha with pistachio foam. Definitely a top favorite now! read more

This is a hidden gem. On my journey of trying different coffee shops and found this one. The staff was sooooo welcoming and gave me 2 recommendations. I decided to go with the mazapán which was soooo good! It had little chunks of the mazapán candy in it! Loved it so much. It's also cute inside. Cute coffee shop with a simple but beautiful aesthetic. This coffee shop is not really a hang out place, there's no tables, it's more of a to go coffee shop. I loved the paintings and the fun arcade game, my husband and I played it while waiting for our drinks. The customer service was amazing, definitely 5 star worthy! We ordered the horchata lattes and they were delicious. So glad we decided to try this spot out. We always love supporting small businesses! read more

I usually order the horchata latte and the brown sugar oat latte, always a 10/10 however sometimes the line gets a bit long which is expected with the quality of drink you get, Andrew is super friendly and always makes me feel welcomed. This place was cool to visit and while I'm not a big coffee drinker, their menu impressed me. My family are the big coffee drinkers. They have unique flavors like horchata and mazapán. I personally got the vanilla chai latte. They also have teas and juices. The location is kinda tight but hey when there's a will there's a way. Once you enter there's a lot more room and they've begun to decorate it with nostalgia items. The service is great. The guy who took our order was thorough and cool. Made you feel like a friend. We ordered about 8 drinks and it took about 10 minutes. But it was ok because we enjoyed the decor and also looked at their merch. read more

This place is a local hidden treasure. Nestled in a corner nook, no lavish signs, just a small parking lot ...you will know you are in the right spot by the line of people waiting outside the door. Upon entry there is a fun nostalgic vibe that showcased some art, merch , a cute couch and cool street fighter arcade. Their menu features House made syrups with sugar free options and smooth espressos, you can make your own drink but I highly recommend the blueberry cold foam and the peaches sugar free syrup ... they also make a delicious cold brew. It was pricey about $22 with tip and took over 15 mins because they only have one register, however the front counter was extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions without rushing me, he has an amazing positive vibe which got me excited to be there.. We ended up waiting outside, shortly the owner came out with our drinks, I felt that was extremely thoughtful and courteous. I really enjoyed my experience because all good things take time and they make beautiful delicious handcrafted drinks... not just espresso... this is an experience. I'm impressed because I'm known to write extremely critical reviews... I just gotta be honest when I say I wish this place continued success and growth. You gotta try this place earlier in the day before the brunch rush. And be patient, the line moves faster than you think trust the service and drinks are worth the wait. read more

I had visited this cafe once before at the end of 2024. At the time, they only had two workers making the drinks. I believe they were short staffed. The place had been packed. It took about 30 minutes for me to get my drinks. I had gotten a matcha latte. I decided to come back again and risk waiting to see if it would take 30 minutes for me to get my drink again. It had been a long time since I had gone so I was hoping there would be an improvement and that time was a one off. This a popular cafe spot, there is always people. The cafe decor is urban street culture, with some paintings, merch, a TV playing the Simpsons, a couch, and an arcade game. I didn't wait in line for that long. People were always coming in and out of the cafe. There is no seating inside. I asked the barista if I should add a flavor to my matcha. He said it was up to me and recommended me some options if I wanted. He was helpful. He said the matcha was sweetened so I decided not to add to it. I got the 24oz. I didn't wait too long like I did last time. My matcha was done well and tasted good. I enjoyed it! read more
This was my very first time at The Hood Grind Coffee, which was recommended by a close friend. It is located in the shopping center off of First and Riverside, rather hidden, but it contributes to the ambiance. The store is very unique and has a lot of nice artwork by a local artist on the walls. The menu is available online and there are seasonal items, but we opted for the popular items: nuez con coco and mazapan. We were definitely not disappointed and we were even happier to know their story. Overall, the owners were very friendly and shared a bit about their story, which is incredible, and impressive considering they started doing delivery and now have their own storefront. The price of their items are normal to other specialty coffee shops, but the quality of the coffee is good. We will definitely support this business and recommend to others! If you get a chance, come support a great small business! read more

Tried The Hood Grind for the first time and definitely need to give them another shot (no pun intended... or maybe it is). I ordered the Orange I.E. Latte, which was a bit outside my usual since I don't typically go for syrups in my coffee. The coffee itself was good, but the honey and syrups overpowered it for my taste. That said, I think there's real potential here if I tweak the sweetness level next time. Service was not only quick but also incredibly friendly, the team was so sweet and welcoming, even with how busy they were. I'll be back to try a less sweet drink and maybe one of their foams for a more balanced sweetness. Looking forward to round two! read more

Hard to find.... there is tiny lettering on the door but no sign. However inside is really cute very simple but welcoming. The gentleman welcomed us and we looked at the menu. We wanted to try it all but got the nuez con coco and a southern kiss. So my students told me about this place and they were not wrong. These drinks are like a magnificent dessert! The nuez was like a melted pecan bar... my favorite! It is sweet but damn delicious! The southern kiss was more of a regular delicious Carmel vanilla yum! Ok overall this place is bomb! Coffee is crazy expensive everywhere so this is right in line with pricing. I would love to come back and will send others for sure! read more
